They scheduled an appointment without confirming the date that I was unable to attend, I called 3 days in advance to reschedule. The lady who answered the phone confirmed that it was rescheduled. David still came out on the previous day when I was at work and when I answered the phone and told him I rescheduled the appointment he started yelling and being very unprofessional when clearly there was a lack of communication within the company. When he did eventually come back out, he didn't bring the proper supplies to patch the wall that had previously tested positive for black mold. We asked for him to come back when it could be properly patched up because we didn't want to risk being exposed to black mold if it was still there. He got an attitude about it and said we would have to pay an additional fee for him to return. It's not our fault he came out and didn't have the proper supplies when he knew in advance which areas we wanted retested! Then they never walked through the test results. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring 'his engineer' out to look at it. I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob's estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn't understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we're still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won't be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company's negligence.

The owner is unable to provide results in a timely manner, and she is unable to use basic email technology to serve her customers, OR 2. After…read moreresearching and contacting multiple companies I hired Atlantic Corp in Fuquay because the sold me on their long-standing reputation in the community, all their certifications, high quality of work, and frankly telling me how much better they were than any other company doing this work. I hired them in October of 2024, and paid almost $1,100. For the work, which was reasonable based on other estimates and the work was done on time as scheduled with no obvious issues at the time. Due to ambient temperatures mid-October my heat and AC weren't really running and my bills were less than $30. In November my heating bill went to $220 (significantly higher than last year) and in December it jumped to $340 and my home was not maintaining heat. Ridiculously high bill for a cold home. I first contacted an HVAC company who determined that my system only 2 years old was working perfectly. They diagnosed that I likely had a problem in my duct work which could have been torn and or disconnected during the October cleaning and that was why my house was pumping heat but staying cold. I had to call this company dozens of times before anyone answered the phone or returned my call. I left several messages which were never returned. I even informed them that I had to hire someone to investigate the duct work so I could have adequate heat, but wanted to give them a chance to make it right before I did that. Minimal effort was made on the part of the company to communicate with me, much less help address the issue - this was mid January with sub freezing temperatures. I contacted a second company who was able to find the damage in the duct work and repair it. I asked Atlantic Corp to pay the $409 for the repairs it cost me. I didn't ask for anything for the increased bills I had paid, a refund for the cleaning itself, or the three days I had to take off work to address this. This seems very reasonable considering two professionals put on their invoice that this was due to damage during the cleaning. They deny that they did this damage or had anything to do with it. They offered me a $100 refund with a denial. If you are looking to use a company who stands by their reputation, I do not recommend.

I contacted Miramold because I'd been dealing with some scary health issues since moving into a new…read morehouse and had become concerned that there may be a mold issue behind them. I spoke with the owner of Miramold prior to scheduling and she was made aware of my concerns. The inspector came to my home, looked around briefly, identified one source of mold, and insisted on performing air testing in a few rooms. It was my understanding that air testing is essentially useless with ERMI being the gold standard and infinitely more accurate. When I asked about ERMI testing the inspector looked at me like I was insane and insisted that air testing was what everyone did. For some reason I allowed him to continue. I received my results a few days later, letting me know that my home was pristine, free of mold. Nothing to worry about! I suspected that my Miramold inspection was inaccurate, at best, so I hired another company to come out and inspect my home. I ordered and performed my own ERMI test in the mean time. Within minutes of the other inspector's arrival, he located several other visible sources of mold, a couple of which were in obvious locations. He spent many hours looking over every inch of my home, inside and out. He took wall cavity air and surface samples in suspicious areas. He identified structural issues that were causing water infiltration. He discussed with me why air sampling should never be done in place of ERMI. My results showed huge amounts of toxic mold. The ERMI test confirmed this. This inspector also provided me with a thorough report with remediation protocols, none of which were offered from Miramold. I should also mention that this 2nd, far superior inspection, was the same price as Miramold's... I won't go into details about my healing journey, but had I trusted Miramold, I would never have sought the help I needed and my health would have continued to decline. I would not have pursued safer housing. Who knows what could have happened. I do not understand how this company is still operating or why they have positive reviews, but if you have mold related health concerns, this is not who you should be trusting.

A very thorough investigation was done - from areas in the attic where the ventilation fan was showing water damage and subsequent mold and mildew growth to the far reaches of my crawlspace where mold and fungal growth with standing water damage was evident. Every room was thoroughly tested, MANY samples and photos taken for analysis. I'd like to also note that I followed the inspector (Ms.Courtney Belohlavek) around and learned so much about mold and remediation...she took her time yet was efficient and thorough, never hesitating to answer my questions.
