It's everything you would want in a play place for a 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Plenty to see and do, but not too much that it's overwhelming. There's a large play place with lots of slides and areas to climb, pretend play centers and plenty of other toys like blocks, trains, etc. A huge added bonus is they have a snack bar with coffee - perfect for adults, and helpful if you forget snacks for your kiddos. The entire space is kept extremely clean and has a bright and modern feel. Admission is around $20 for open play. It's also a wonderful spot for birthday parties - you get the entire space for two hours and they have complete packages where they include food and decor. Overall it's a cute spot to have in town and I'm sure we'll continue to visit often!

She's caring, thoughtful, remembers us(!), and very organized. Every time we have come to the facility, every block is in place, and there isn't a piece of lint or thread anywhere on the floor- it is spotless clean! Remember to bring socks - if you forget (like I did) they have kid and adult pairs for sale for just a few dollars. You're also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks in - they have designated areas for food in there. Our kid started coming around age 13 months and is 2.5 years now. There are endless things to do - from small breakout rooms to explore and stimulate imagination, to a massive climbing and jungle gym area that even adults can easily maneuver. There is a small cafe for water and snacks, as well as very clean, accessible restrooms. The area is very open and visible, so parents can always keep an eye on their children no matter which part of the building they are in. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Over and over again.

Now that that's out of the way, you'll use precut glass from a huge selection of colors, sizes and textures on a glass bases to make designs that are fused in a kiln. The many options for bases include an ashtray, menorah, picture frame, plates or larger tray. Other more advanced options include weaving colors together and wind charms. Each station has a glass cutter and pliers so you can shape the precut glass. Either goggles or just wearing you're glasses is required. Just like there's a saying about ice skating that no matter what, ice is slippery, glass is sharp and can cut although I saw no wounds in my class. Using a bit of glue, you anchor down your design in the base. Then it is fused in a kiln. In addition to just creating your design, realistic or abstract, you can use templates that are provided. The very friendly and knowledgeable instructors give an overview of the process as well as help out people along the way. It's fun, creative and fairly priced. Truly a good experience.

The playground area is large with lots of various slide / tunnel / swing / climbing wall options. My daughter is 1.5 and there is plenty for her to do. In addition to a playground there is also a large basketball court, soccer field and a gazebo. There are always a ton of organized sports going on, especially during the weekends. Parking and benches are plentiful. Simons Park doesn't get as crowded as Central Park, but also has a bit more to do than Watnong Park. Because of that it's usually my go-to, and is the perfect way to get fresh air with my mini.

There are both regular swings, toddler swings, and a see-saw in addition to the play structures. You can keep an eye on your little ones from one of several benches in or around the playground. If you would like to watch like a pro in the shade you can keep an eye on them from the gazebo that is located right next to the playground. The ground cover is made of recycled tires to protect your little ones from little falls. The trees next to this playground provide shade later in the afternoon so plan your sun exposure accordingly. There is a water fountain here between the basketball court and playground that is available seasonally. There is currently (end of Spring 2016) a blue porta-potty near the entrance to the parking lot near the corner of Hillview Ave and Mountain Way. The bathrooms attached to the concession stand are typically not available unless there is a large sporting or community event going on so plan your intake and output needs accordingly.

There were so many structures that all the children had plenty of personal space. Special features included a roller-based slide, a zip-line, and a rope climb. It's an excellent playground I can add to the rotation. Come out and play! Benches for eating are at the entrance located close enough to watch your kids playing basketball or on the playground. This playground is neat... truly a castle inspired theme. Great for playing peekaboo with your toddlers with many mazes to get lost in and still be sure your child is safe and can't fall out the sides (too easily). There's also a slide that can be climbed which my son was very intrigued with, once he got to the top he'd jump on the big boy slide and come out the other end, he's 14 months so there's really so much for him to explore. There's also bigger slides for older kids, different monkey bars to climb, kiddie and big kid swings, little castles with benches and tables to picnic in, and plenty of benches surrounding the playground for parents to hang out in. We lived up to our mantra: PLAY HARD NAP HARD! Baby was knocked out as soon as we got in the car so I must say it was a good day. My name is Francis and I approve of this playground.
