Everything is clean, well-maintained, and updated. The courses are great, and the teaching staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Not-So-Great Stuff One other reviewer already mentioned the mystery busses that show up every so often and randomly disgorge mobs of teenage boys at the front door (who in turn fill the fitness room beyond capacity). I once submitted a proposal that the members simply be alerted the day before this happens so that they can plan; I never received an acknowledgement. The facility hosts swim meets, and when that happens you can forget about finding a place to park. I have no idea why they don't direct swim meet vehicles to park in one of the nearby YMCA lots for the day. If you do show up on a swim meet day, be prepared to make a slow Odyssean drive through the various areas of the parking lot before realizing that you won't be working out that day. I don't like that they charge extra for some classes. This place isn't cheap -- you can look up the membership prices on the website. It strikes me as a little mean to charge retirees who just want to learn how to play pickleball an extra $100.

After the class they told me I can longer come here unless I have a paid membership. I have national wide coverage but this YMCA refuses to honor that. I just wanted to take just one class and they said I have to pay full membership. They could still get paid if they went through the insurance. But they rather take money directly from member not understanding seniors are on low income budget. This was very disheartening because I really loved the class. So beware nationwide is not for this particular YMCA.

His entire staff is impeccably trained - everyone always has a smile and warm/welcoming words (and it's not fake, it's the culture there). Not only are the facilities great (GAGA pits, 2 pools, high ropes course, giant zip line, archery, arts & crafts, drama, etc etc and fields for: baseball, soccer, flag football and lacrosse...the kids even get to play dodge ball) but the staff is simply amazing - incredibly supportive and patient, always there to help and encourage. Campers not only learn how to win but more importantly they learn how to lose and have sportsmanship. Eric came on time - his performance consisted of 45 mins of magic and 15 mins of balloon twisting for the kids. Glad to have met and hired Eric to do the birthday show.
