I have worked at HVC for over a year now and it was honestly the best choice I have ever made. As a college student who is going to school for early childhood education they are not only very flexible with my schedule but there to listen to any comments or concerns we bring up. From other experiences what I love the most about this center is how much everyone really cares for their jobs. While it is very hard to find a good fit for teachers (an issue at EVERY DAYCARE CENTER) and what room they are more comfortable with, the director and assistant director work very hard to listen to what is needed to help you and the kiddos. They are accommodating to your and the kids needs. I will ALWAYS recommend this center not only for the quality care but the learning that happens in the rooms. I have specifically worked in Preschool and Prek and seeing how we all work for the kids to be where they need to be has been a very eye opening experience, especially with the degree I am going into. Our friends asked me about our daycare, saying they saw a poor review here. Clearly this is from a disgruntled ex employee. Because I can tell you from our experience this is an AMAZING facility ran by an exceptional staff. This compelled me to write a review here. We have gotten to know each of our daughters teachers as she has graduated through the classrooms.and they are amazing. Engagement with the kids is always something we see. She loves it. I have also been really impressed on how they have navigated the exceptionally challenging COVID situation. I can't imagine that pressure. The Directors have handled this so well. The entire team have managed the situation and kept the safety of my kid, her friends, and the entire staff at the forefront. Bravo on doing this so well. My daughter loves it and we love Harrison Village. This clearly ex employee was not a good fit. Nothing about that review was remotely accurate to what we experience day after day. Absolutely amazing care center!!! I have both of my son in programs here and I am beyond pleased with how my children are being taken care of. The employees are fantastic, kind, and helpful. They really care about each child in their charge. They go above and beyond for the children they care for. The management really listens and runs a clean and safe environment. One of my children requires a bit of extra care and his teacher is right on point keeping in good contact with me if something is needed or troubleshooting with me on what is best for my child. I know without a doubt my boys are well taken care of at this care center and I appreciate them so much for all they do for my family. I Highly recommend the care center. read more

I've had my three kiddos here for a year now, and making the switch has been absolutely the best decision! My toddlers love their teachers and learn so much. My oldest is in pre-k and loves telling me all about what he's learning every day. The staff is great, and so understanding. Jamie and Elysia are SO helpful, and care so much about each kid. For the last week the only reason I've been able to get out the door without my two year old daughter having a meltdown is because Elysia takes time out of her own busy morning to give my girl special attention when we arrive. I have to say that I feel lucky to have found Harrison Village Childcare when I did. When I found this center, I just had a negative experience with another center down the street. So I was little nervous dropping my two kids off. Well, the director and the teachers helped ease my worries on Day one. I think the director could sense I was nervous but she assured me that everything would be okay and that my kids were in good hands. Well I have been taking my two kids to this center for just over 2 years now. I am happy to say that I have never had any worries. Harrison Village Childcare has been a wonderful experience for my child! The staff, especially my daughter's teacher and the director, are absolutely amazing. They're kind, attentive, and truly care about the kids. My daughter loves all the activities--arts, outdoor play, and the fun learning moments every day. HVC is the place to be! You can tell that the staff really cares about all the kiddos, and as a staff member myself, I can truly say we build a connection with them. The director, Jamie, and assistant director, Elysia, are super kind and make sure that all the students and staff are as happy as possible! This is a great daycare center. My son's teacher is great! I am able to watch my son on the cameras during the day, when I am at work. I see that he is having a good time. Walking in the building, it always seems to be clean, which I have been to a couple of daycares centers that have not been so clean. My son enjoys going there. He talks about his day with excitement. read more
