The staff is friendly but I miss the previous dentist at this location. I was told I need several root canals when another dentist told me they could save the same teeth. This dentist told me either root canal or have them pulled. They also did a crown for me and there is a huge groove in it where food keeps getting stuck. I will not go back here. read more

Don't get me wrong. The first time I reviewed this place I gave it a good high rating and the actual staff was thorough in my cleaning and examining my teeth. The problem I have with my second visit on 7/22/26 involved the front/billing desk. I go to reschedule for my 3 month cleaning and the lady told me will you also schedule for a cavity filling? For tooth 29 or something like that. I said "excuse me?" Cavity? What cavity? Because the last time I was here which was my first time at that office the technician Lili who cleaned my teeth thoroughly told me "she didn't find any cavities" and Dr. Freytes the DMD looked and examined inside my mouth and said the same thing and only mentioned to me about the second deep cleaning and Invisalign recommendation the next time I come back. Nothing about cavity filling. That's what I told the lady at the front desk. She told me she is going "by the system and treatment plan on my file". I'm like ok, well the actual dentist who looked inside my mouth said she didn't see anything and she would have told me right then and there I need to come back and schedule for a cavity filling. Professional dentists would not neglect to tell their patient about that. And I said to the dark-haired lady wearing eyeglasses "I'm sorry but who am I believing here? You, or the dentist who looked inside my mouth?" She couldn't come up with an answer and the other lady had to chime in saying they're going by the system and apologized for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. I'm like well they didn't tell me that and I'm pretty sure they would have right then and there. She is telling me I should follow-up in two weeks and if they don't hear from me they will contact me. What I find strange and fishy is that Dr. Freytes wasn't in the office today it was the other DMD, and when I mentioned her name those ladies were like oh we will get Dr. Freytes expertise and recommendations. Now you want to get the DMD's expertise? You just told me I had a cavity?" The other patients sitting in the waiting room were staring and listening closely because I believe these billing ladies were trying to add on an additional service/charge or overcharge me. I really hope this isn't the case because I don't want to have to change dentists if it's due to the billing specialists at this office. read more

We were long time patients of the practice since the opening which had amazing service but since the office was sold it is a disorganized and money hungry approach to dental care. They don't listen or understand when you say your don't want or need a service. They give you the "hard sell" and when you show up for a cleaning they only do the x-rays and then tell you to come back another time. There is a big sales pitch on coming every 3 months and the entire operation is dysfunctional and boarders on unethical. Stay Away!!! read more

Our most recent experience we were asked to pay the full amount, even though we have insurance because they don't know how to process the claims. Completely unacceptable. Dr. Freytes- i was never told this was non- refundable. i was encouraged to sign up for your lousy savings plan. had i paid for my son's services (without your so- called savings plan, it would have cost less) would have been less than $360- i was told by your receptionist on Monday that you would refund the rest of plan & today everyone backs out of promise. i have been at this dental office for about 15 years & this is how you treat a good & longtime client. your not professional by stealing my money & thinking its okay to treat people this way. other dentists are $2,500 less than your cost & you should be embarrassed by your exorbitant cost & then not having the decency to refund 1/2 of what i paid. i no longer will be using your services & that is why i want my hard earned money back. if you had any profesionalism & integrity you wouldn't be taking my money that you haven't earned. your clients only mean money- you don't have any excuse but greed. i- you have shown your colors & it isn't pretty. i will definitely share my experiences with any one i know who goes to your office - if i could give a zero rating i would , because the zero is what you should be getting- read more

I literally stumbled upon this Dental office and out of curiosity I walked in the door. The atmosphere was inviting and just right. Even better I was greeted immediately with a warm and personable smile from front desk attendant Alison who, through her greeting and offer of assistance sold me on this venue! My questions were answered and once I confirmed my insurance provider was accepted I completed the forms to make this office my new Dentist. It didn't take long before I was able to secure an appointment. I found consistency in the level of service as I met Hygienist Liina, other staff Haley and ofcourse Dr Diaz.Another staff member contributed as I watched teamwork at play in providing the total experience: - Great Customer Service - Consumate professionals - Affordable Within a week of discovering this Office I was able to get and appointment. Best. Dentist. Ever. This place is so the anti-normal dentist. Starts off that it's immaculately clean. Instead of the impersonal waiting room with the dated wall stuff and sliding window with an angry troll behind it, they have a friendly, living room-esque waiting room with an open counter to the whole place and a very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful receptionist Susan. Then you go to the hygienist. Normally, it is a person who's not that knowledgeable about dentistry and just there to clean your teeth. Instead, Liina is extremely smart and was evaluating my x-rays and setting up a follow up for treatment after. Very friendly and thorough with cleaning & diagnosis. Just when I thought this place was the best dentist shop ever, in came Dr Diaz. She was great. Quickly, but thoroughly went through my x-rays to determine what course of action to proceed with. Set up my follow ups and interacted great with Liina, as they worked as a true team. Plus, they have a text reminder service for your appointments and email service. Phenomenal customer service! RECOMMEND! This is my first time getting my teeth checked after 3 years and I couldn't decide where to get them cleaned so I took a chance on DIAZ SMILE. It's probably the best decision I've made! The staff are super friendly and the environment is very calm, clean and relaxing. They have great, innovative equipment that I haven't seen in other doctor's office which means that they are on board with technology to better understand the issues with your teeth. (I was able to see the hole in my teeth on the screen). The sterile technique is impeccable! I work in the hospital so I have high expectations on cleanliness. The mouse had a cover, the dental hygienist changed glove multiple times (a good thing), the instruments were opened in front of you so you'll know that they're cleaned, she also used wipes to wipe the chords, and most of all using hand sanitizer. THAT'S IMPRESSIVE! The lady who cleaned my teeth not only educated me about how to floss and brush, she also showed me HOW and WHY it has to be done the proper way. She also took out a book and a teeth toy to show me exactly how it's done. I never knew there was a technique on how to floss. Who knew? (Cause I surely didn't). She was so attentive, caring and compassionate and I appreciated it! When people love what they do, it sure does show! Then I met Dr. Diaz, sweetest person! She actually assesses your issues and form a plan on how to fix it. She's not forceful but she does voice out her concerns.
