Wow! 1st time here and won't be the last. Dang fine cheeseburgers. It was juicy and well done, I don't normally finish all my food in one sitting but I did this time. They had so many menu choices but sometimes you just want a cheeseburger. Real meat, wasn't frozen. Simply wonderful.

The Tuesday special. Whole shrimp poboy, fully dressed. Small fry and small coke. Yum!

My husband and I had the best shrimp poboys yesterday! We were driving through Larose and stopped by Harry's Poboys. So many shrimp, they were just falling out the delicious crispy French bread! The Tuesday special is a whole shrimp poboy, small fry and small drink for $13, I think-could have been $15, but it was huge! I recommend calling ahead which is what the locals already seemed to know lol. We ate at the picnic tables outside. Great lunch! Friendly staff, too

This place is just plain good. No way around it. Was passing through and pulled over to give it a try. Just be aware that they are cash/check only as of 9/8/2020

All the food I've tried is amazing but the roast beef Poboys are everything! I crave this often!

Located in a shack on the side of the road off Hwy. 308, this place was recommended as serving the best po boys down de bayou. Well, not having a lot of experience with these things I am no expert, but I can say the that the po boy sandwiches I have had here on several occasions are pretty damn tasty! Today I had the roast beef poboy, it is loaded up with thin sliced roast beef and drowning in an awesome beef gravy. What a great lunch!

Lots of shrimp on my shrimp poboy; shrimp may have come off of the boat that morning -- lol.

This business is severely overpriced. Food is good but just way to expensive for a little road side joint.

Decent enough food. Caught them before closing so was not expecting much. Probably better when they're not ready to close.

Very good roast beef po- boy. But it was very wet and messy. It did taste great and I would come back for another one.

I cook a lot of both at home--I'm someone who is dedicated enough to my Louisiana cooking to order Steen's syrup from Louisiana to my Florida doorstep even though Florida makes perfectly good cane syrup in its own right. (Side note: any New Orleans restaurant you venture to serving pain perdu with maple syrup and not Steen's--ask what the hell they're even doing.) Like most worthwhile restaurants, the menu here changes up. The specials as well as their famous sandwiches seem the way to go and I got the fried shrimp with bread and butter pickles. Exceptional--a small amount, it may have even been a starter but regardless was perfect for me. The sandwiches other diners had on their plates were large and looked delicious just glancing around at other tables. Everything comes up fast and the atmosphere is . . . just ideally New Orleans. It feels all the way "working CBD lunch" yet unhurried, a reflection of Cochon's greatness but scaled down and with utterly no pretense. There's simply a real sense of both care and expertise in everything done here no matter how simple or complex. Beyond all else, they're doing what they love here with no scaling back or dressing up to make it anything else. A winner through and through.
