Have you ever been so overwhelmed with gratitude that you cried? This company... my goodness. Unreal. What a blessing. What a serious, serious blessing. Two days ago they completed major repairs on my system. They warned me that the outside motor might fail soon, but it was still working fine at the time, so we scheduled a replacement for three months later. Everything else they fixed came out better than before it quit. That alone would have been enough for me to call them again. But what happened next... woah. Sometimes God laughs at our plans. The very unit we had planned to replace in three months died early. The owner came out himself. What company has an owner who shows up after hours? It was 6 p.m., 92 degrees inside the house, and the owner was at my door. He wasn't some fluff corporate guy. He was the kind of man who doesn't mind a dirty shirt. He was the only one there, and he did the work himself. He was so kind to me that I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude. He didn't charge me. No company does that. He simply said, "We take care of our customers. You trusted us with a big repair, and we're going to help you." Is this customer care in the style of 1973! Do not waste your time with any other heating and air company. You'd be a total fool not to call this one. Just call Hart. And don't wait for it to quit, get it serviced so the repairs are not massive when it quits!!! And here is a hint.. YOU CAN afford the service call on a social security budget... just sayin!!! Moved into a new to us 5 year old house in February 2025. Had another company do the inspection. He found some issues and later fixed them. Of course it was cold then and the AC couldn't be turned on. Fast forward to summer. AC was working but every day as soon as it heated up outside the house temperature would rise to about 79 even though it was set on 73. Impossible to cook in the evening. An acquaintance told me about Hart. They came out that day and discovered a glaring issue the previous guy had missed. I should have written this review years ago as Heart has been my go to company for HVAC for a while now. However, a recent interaction with the crew at Heart has prompted me to finally write this. Below is the kind of service you can expect from Heart. Last year I had issues with a 20+ year old HVAC system. The diagnostic work on the old system and following quote on a new system went better than any other company I have used for that kind of service in the past. The final analysis made it clear that it was time for a whole new system, and Heart accommodated us right away. All of the individuals we dealt with were professional and knowledgeable. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago, I returned home late on a Saturday night to find that the new system is suddenly not working. First thing in the morning on a Sunday I call Heart to let them know what is going on with the system. Within an hour, on a Sunday morning they had a technician at my house troubleshooting the system. Very impressive! The technician determined there was a refrigerant leak and advised me that they would be out in a few days to trace the leak and figure out what component had failed. The day came to find the failed component and they located it in the outside compressor. The technicians advised that the refrigerant leak was so bad that we were out of refrigerant again already and serviced the unit for free once again. Heart then pulled some kind of warranty work magic and had a whole new outside compressor first thing the next day, and the best part of this is that for all of the service calls and parts involved getting my system up and running it cost me ZERO out of pocket. Absolutely amazing experience. All if this to say that Heart not only takes care of new customers but they stand behind the work that they do and do an incredible job taking care of their customers. read more

Our heat pump went out and the answered right away. They were able to come out and their price was great. I highly recommend them.

Paid for the HVAC checkup / service because my heater stopped. After an inspection, Hart said it was a bad gas valve and offered to fix it for over $1000, which was too much. Since I had home warranty insurance, I went through them. The warranty technician (a different heating company in Lubbock) fixed the problem in 10 minutes, cleaning a sensor and tightening a loose connection .... something the HVAC service with Hart should have been able to do. If I didn't have home warranty insurance, I would have been out quite a bit of money. Buyer beware. read more

My indoor A/C fan stopped working and I thought it had been left on until the motor burned out. Hart Hearing & A/C sent out Mike to look at the problem and see if it could be repaired - my system is 20+ years old. Mike is a very knowledgeable technician, so he used an override switch and found that the fan could turn on, then he found a loose wire, and he spent the time to trace the wires (and read the upside-down wiring diagram) so the loose wire could be reconnected correctly without any guessing games. Mike was a pleasure to talk with during the process and worth every penny of the service charge. Mark was supposed to call me and arrange a time to give me a price for a new indoor unit - with a system as old as mine, repairs are not usually just a loose wire and I want to be prepared. Minus one star for lack of follow through from the sales guy. Overall, dealing with them has been a good experience and I will definitely be calling Hart Heating & A/C again. read more

I wanted to come back here and just reiterate how impressed we are with Hart Heating & Air. I've used them for several years now and they are ALWAYS so nice & their problem solving skills are on top of the game. I was scared I had to buy a new unit and the tech said, 'oh no, we are not thinking like that today!' Love the enthusiasm. They will give you tiers of the type of service that needs to be done from basic to platinum service and DO NOT force, encourage or persuade you to spend all the extra $ you may or may not need to spend. Every technician has been so respectful & knows his job. I don't know what Hart does to only hire the best, but they have that figured out well. They have the parts that day and will get you fixed up immediately and are on time and no wasted time visiting. They just get to the job and get you up and running. Earned Business for Life!! From initial contact which was an email on a Sunday night at 9:30pm. The next morning I was promptly called at 8:15am to see how they could help. My Hvac unit was not kicking on so Natalie said that they could have someone call when the could get out to me. I waited about 15 minutes and received a call from Brett. He said he was headed my way! He was very Friendly, Courteous, and Knowledgeable. I'll tell you some guys might get the hvac unit running and then head our saying the job is done. Not Brett, he found that there was a blown circuit and replaced it, but was not satisfied with that. He said, I want to find out why it is blowing so he continued to go the extra mile and found the source! He also tuned up the unit and made sure my unit was running 100%. I'll tell you it is hard to find companies that work as if it were their own house. Well look no further for your HVAC needs, Brett and Hart will take care of you!! Oh and the price was very fair! From start to finish, they were the most professional and helpful people I may have ever done business with. The repairs were done while I was gone and the only way I could tell they had been there at all was my house was cool, and they left some stickers and mini screwdrivers for me on the kitchen table. I thought the first guy must have just been their best, but I had another unrelated issue and the noce lady at the front had Keith call me and talk me through all of my options this morning. At no point did I feel pressured to use them again, and he even gave me a few cost friendly options I could possibly do myself. Had an a/c issue over a weekend. Delbert showed up right on time to check it out. He was very honest and transparent about the repair that needed to be made and the part that needed to be fixed. In the end, I decided on not fixing but Delbert was very professional and honest about the issue, did not try to push any repairs and went out of his way in customer service. This company has an ethical behavior issue. For an elderly customer, they came out to the home did a "professional assessment" to get an ac issue reviewed to fix. They put us down the path of a full replacement costing about 8500 dollars. They scheduled the job for 4 days later, then the day before the job stated they needed to go by the house to review the job site. We heard nothing from that day and assumed all was good, however at 6:30 am the day of the installation I didn't even get a call, but a text message that the job was now going to cost more because of mistakes and assumptions made. $2500 more. They would not even discount it even through it was their mistake. I was put into a position pressured to make a decision after I asked them to call me and not text, and frankly this tactic is unethical and poor sales tactic that they opted to take to prey on an elderly person and the situation they were in with no air. Truly a company I would not recommend to anyone. read more
