However, we were still having issues that indicated otherwise. While I fought with my home warranty, our AC completely gave out and would not turn back on. I called Artic Air at 8 am on Monday 7/17/2023, and a tech was at our house at 3pm that same day and our AC was working and running beautifully (despite being 20 years old) by 5pm. This tech was very nice, worked efficiently, and fixed our AC when our house thermostat said 87 degrees inside. The tech diagnosed the issue as shortages in the wiring. He fixed those, installed my new thermostat, and went ahead and cleaned the unit for a reasonable price. I really wish I could remember his name but I 100% recommend this company!

I should have written this review years ago as Heart has been my go to company for HVAC for a while…read morenow. However, a recent interaction with the crew at Heart has prompted me to finally write this. Below is the kind of service you can expect from Heart. Last year I had issues with a 20+ year old HVAC system. The diagnostic work on the old system and following quote on a new system went better than any other company I have used for that kind of service in the past. The final analysis made it clear that it was time for a whole new system, and Heart accommodated us right away. All of the individuals we dealt with were professional and knowledgeable. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago, I returned home late on a Saturday night to find that the new system is suddenly not working. First thing in the morning on a Sunday I call Heart to let them know what is going on with the system. Within an hour, on a Sunday morning they had a technician at my house troubleshooting the system. Very impressive! The technician determined there was a refrigerant leak and advised me that they would be out in a few days to trace the leak and figure out what component had failed. The day came to find the failed component and they located it in the outside compressor. The technicians advised that the refrigerant leak was so bad that we were out of refrigerant again already and serviced the unit for free once again. Heart then pulled some kind of warranty work magic and had a whole new outside compressor first thing the next day, and the best part of this is that for all of the service calls and parts involved getting my system up and running it cost me ZERO out of pocket. Absolutely amazing experience. All if this to say that Heart not only takes care of new customers but they stand behind the work that they do and do an incredible job taking care of their customers.

Then my garbage disposal stopped working, I hadn't used it since I avoided everything because of the heat. We tried to fix it but only succeeded sending brackish water to the dishwasher. I got some good feedback on how to clean that mess up too. I would day Bruce Thornton runs a great company and has quality personnel. If I ever get a house I will be calling them for support.

This is a follow-up to my previous review. I called another…read moreplumber regarding my water tank. As it turns out, the work performed previously was shoddy. According to the plumber that repaired my tank, Leak-Tek had used the wrong wire nuts and the wires were loose and arcing. Not only did this keep my tank from working, this could have led to a fire that could have destroyed my home. In addition, the same parts that were replaced by Leak-Tek had to be replaced again. Upon inspection by the plumber, the parts Leak-Tek installed were not OE parts even though it was a warranty repair. I have not had any problems since the legitimate plumbing professional serviced my tank. Be careful with who you choose to do repairs in your home.
