The cost for my complete break job was hundreds less than metro Detroit ($1200 for the local Detroit Ford dealer versus $560 for Maxi Muffler). Labor rate is much lower up north versus the high rates in the Detroit area with the quality of work every bit as good if not better than the shops near my home. Additionally Maxi Muffler installed Wagner pads and Dura rotors on my truck which are recognized quality parts and did not try and skimp in this area. If you are looking for excellent automotive repair work at a fair price and are in the Oscoda area, look no farther than Maxi Muffler. They informed us that they had already took our tank "because they don't make enough money off of us", and they were only going to credit us a $1.00 a gallon toward our fuel that they stole. I came back in to exchange. The cashier snapped and told me she confirmed twice. I asked to speak to manager because she was so busy. I approached her she was fipn 4 frozen drinks talking on the phone. I waited she turned and said what's your problem already with attitude. She said once it leaves the store no exchange. I get that but the cashier got the order wrong. And I was telling the manager and she started screaming at me. Don't yell at mee! I wasnt​​ I said wow I wasn't yell before I could finish she started screaming get the Fuck out! In my face spitting while screaming. I left she freaked me out the crazy look on her face, so I left. Next day I realized I left my money card, so I went back. She was there so I quietly asked the other cashier if they picked it up because I left it kinda behind counter . That's where I was being screamed at. I didn't even want to talk to this woman. She called to ask manager so I just started to walk out didn't want to deal with her. As I'm walking out not saying a word she started yelling AGAIN saying you got a problem with me? Got a problem with me? I don't know what her problem is. She is unstable. And I felt threatened by her. Reporting my card stolen. And making a police report she was spitting while yelling at me. Can't spit on people like that. Never had a problem in 13 years until this manager.
