This mission was accomplished! I went from not wanting anyone, including myself, to see my backyard to loving hanging out there. When they were working with me on an offer they really seemed to be listening to what my thoughts and concerns were and did a great job of responding in their proposals. We had to make adjustments based on my budget and they were awesome about figuring out how to give me what I wanted within those constraints. It's worth noting that when I pointed out the importance of channeling rainwater away from my flood-prone basement, they were particularly knowledgeable about mitigating that problem. That has turned out awesome. I recommend them, but with a couple of caveats. Communication was great in the beginning, but once the work was going on I felt a little abandoned. I had to reach out for the kind of information that someone should have been providing. Things like timing that should have been expressly spelled out. When the work was done, someone should have gone over it with me, but nothing like that happened. There also was an issue where I asked for an old pile of flagstones to be left alone, as I'd intended to do something with them in the future. But the crew that razed and hauled away all the old stuff got rid of those as well. Again, a lapse in the chain of communication. If you do a project with them, expect to take more of a lead on the conversations and err on the side of overcommunicating.

Jason and Josh came out the same day to estimate. We asked lots of questions and started the work within hours of agreeing on the price. We called them based on a postcard we received for a free estimate and that they had a certified arborist. We hired them based on their quick service and the information they gave about our trees and bushes as well as the options he provided. I'm a cautious buyer (and especially with tree, siding and roofing contractors - sorry contractors!). Jason is a fast talker (that makes me more cautious), but at the end of the day, I'm happy with the services True Tree Solutions provided. He delivered on his word of same-day, quality work. The crew worked hard and cleaned up everything before leaving. I appreciate Jason being on the job until the end to ensure everything was done as we discussed.
