This place is basically a non-MA, Southern version of Filene's Basement (i.e. friendlier, but with…read moremore potential for boundary issues resulting in weird conversations with complete strangers and even more utterly random in terms of stock): new (and possibly returned) items (which are mostly unsold product from a variety of other chains like Target and department-y type stores) come in at discount prices, which are then further discounted over time they remain in stock or according to specific store specials. I've seen comments about expensive / big ticket items being shifted between stores as they become due for discount, but I don't necessarily think that's an issue for the store in Etown, as transporting this kind of stuff 50 miles to another store doesn't exactly amount to cost effectiveness, given the immediate discounted cost associated with items. Staff are really friendly, helpful, kind, and low-key, which is kinda great, given that this is the sort of place that you really need to walk into with a totally open mind and a wandering heart, willing to kinda sort through a little of everything (a lot of it fairly iffy) to find a well-priced treasure. That's just the Bargain Hunt - kinda - way, I guess. Tolerance of a little chaos at certain times of year can get you a ton of cool scarves for 90% off reduced prices or 90% off retail on really amazing swim coverups or a beautiful suit for pennies on the dollar. But you have to be in the right mindset: you can't go in looking for or needing specific things in a specific size, and there's a fair amount of sorting through crap and consulting the special offers and / or the discount schedule (which is readily available). It's hit-or-miss, but generally a fairly quick glance can tell you whether an area is worth more time or not, based on what you're looking for. Not generally crowded people-wise, again, though shelves can be crowded or ill-displayed. If you're one of those people who gets excited about being able to tell someone how little you payed for something after they mention how cute it is, this is place for your next bargain hunt, for sure.

We found a couple of planters, that fit our decor and personal style. The beauty behind the counter was amazing and knowledgeable. You can tell her love for the store and products was genuine. She even let us go upstairs to view and sit in their venue space they rent out. Eccentric and comfortable, but down to earth and all natural wood furniture. It was beautiful and the natural light from the windows made it a inviting. I also purchased a cup of coffee that they are now offering. They offered different cream options and sugars and flavoring. It was just want I need that morning. My kid found this neat spilt rock plant he wanted and I found some cookies and chocolates. I loved some of the clothes they had, just wasn't something I was interested in buying at the time. We definitely want to go back for Christmas time. We loved the atmosphere, my kid loved that the lady was willing to help him and listen to his requests. If you in the area take a minute to check them out!

idk who the girl was but she actually made my experience crappy. i told her i needed a refund…read more directed me to swipe a card i've never seen before, was a little hesitant and didn't ask since she was talking to someone at the register. i then noticed my refund went to the card she made me swipe. did not whatsoever ask me how i wanted my refund as i was expecting to get my cash back today. i said afterwards "i can't get my cash back?" she said "oh you wanted cash? well i can't do anything about it now" GIRL HAD YOU HAVE ASKED ME BEFOREHAND I WOULDNT BE WRITING THIS. literally just ask a simple question because as a customer i didn't know what i was being told to do. ive never had to do that before. anyways, shout out to the young lady working around 1:35pm on 6/5. i unfortunately couldn't get your name, otherwise it would be written down. i may be incompetent as well, but i surely know how to serve my customers.

I thought it was a tea shop so I was anxious to check it out. When I walked inside I discovered it was a woman's clothing store and the clothes were so cute and really reasonably priced. I found a bunch of items for myself and my daughter. After going there I went across the street to another boutique store and the prices were much higher. I would highly recommend this place.
