Let me start with the cheesesteak. I am a firm believer that an amazing cheesesteak has to nail the 3 components: 1) quality meat, 2) gooiness of the cheese, 3) freshness of the roll. Harvey's nailed the meat. The gooiness of the cheese was inconsistent but I do like their take on their own wiz. The roll was eh. Also, the onions were just thrown into the meat instead of being car elided on the flat grill. I think what really took my by surprised was the staff. The cook seemed to be on break eating while I waited for my order. Now it was a little dead in Union Market. I showed up around 5ish on a Friday night. But I was a little caught off guard when watching the staff during the making of my sandwich. Just expected a higher standard. If I lived in the area, I love the availability of getting fresh quality cuts of meat as they have available for your viewing pleasure. Their menu of sandwiches available here still look great. But now that I've tried their cheesesteak, I don't feel the need to stop for it again.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE IN MY LIFETIME OF CLEANING CHITTERLINGS!!!!!!!! I spent well over a 150 dollars for this!!In which pre-clean chitterlings are way more expensive then self-clean.Self-clean you may pay 20 dollars less then the pre-clean ones. I asked the sales associates 3 times are these the already clean ones?they both said yes.I took the chitterlings out the freezer ready to pre-clean them again, anybody who knows about chitterlings, knows that you just don't throw them in a pot without going over them again, because even with the pre-clean chitterlings you my have a bad one slip throw.BUT THESE CHITTERLINGS ARE TRULY A DEATH SENTENCE IF YOU DONT NO ANY BETTER.i have also shared the msg and pictures with the BBB,FDA,They should be fine for selling something like this.If you look at the pictures close up!you will see the hogs rectal area in the pictures.I am begging anyone who buy anything from this vendor BE WARE!!!

They claim to source from local suppliers when possible and their beef is humanely and pasture-raised. They also prepare fresh sausage, weekly. Also available here is food for animals, smoked meats, animal fat for cooking, and grill products. The prices are a bit steep considering the meat is some of the highest quality you can get without having access to a local farm or raising and butchering your own livestock. The customer service is friendly. I do recommend researching and having knowledge of the specific cut of meat you desire before going to this butcher or any butcher for that matter. Butchers have a tendency to recommend alternatives when they are out of a specific cut. Many times they are spot on, but for the seemingly uneducated it can be an opportunity for bad businesses to offload a lesser or expiring cut for as much if not more expensive. On one visit I wanted boneless short rib and the butcher here appropriately recommended Denver cut which is the alternate name for this cut. A novice might not know this. Overall a good experience. I'll visit again when in the area.
