Had no idea this place existed, I was a little disappointed with their selection, as I was unable…read moreto find two specific items needed for dinner. Most "international" markets have these items so I was a bit frustrated that I couldn't find what I needed. On the other hand, the staff were helpful, and friendly. The store was clean and I was able to get some good produce. I can't say that I will return, as they don't have the items that I needed.

This store features items from all over the world. If a particular brand of coconut milk, soy…read moresauce, chili oil, pasta, jam, spice, etc., is needed, there's a very good chance it's here. But if not, there's probably a solid substitute on the shelf. I appreciate how the all the cans, jars, and packets of prepared foods for one country are found in a dedicated spot, and there's a lot of countries represented. I can easily go to the Turkish, Indian, Ghanaian, or whatever aisle and find what I want. There's a fresh produce section along with meats and fish too. But I'm just amazed by the wide array of international foods--this fact alone gets my undivided attention. Grand Mart is really quite a condiment heaven, and an excellent store for foodies in the DMV. The staff is generally helpful. I do enjoy shopping here. Don't let the location or its modest storefront fool you, there's a colossal amount of stuff inside!

A great market with vibrant colors and lots to choose from. I came in just to get some plantains…read moreand cilantro. Forgot the cilantro but left with much more. I love how this place sells plátanos. 3 for a dollar for unripened and medio maduros. 4 for a dollar for the ripest ones. And they aren't just in a crate on the floor of something like that. Well stocked and organized like the rest of the store. The paletas are well worth the trip in my opinion. Cheaper than the ones at La Mega in Riverdale and great flavor. They are made in Hyattsville so they are local and I try to support local business. I tasted the Coconut one. Great flavor but not the one I would choose. I chose Nance and I chose right!!!. There were numerous other flavors. Chocolate too but I like what I got. I also purchased a bag of Hibiscus to make Sorrel. The bag was $1.99 which is a decent price. Not as big as La Mega's bags but cheaper and better quality. I would give 5 stars but the pre-packaged ginger was not all that, upon closer inspection. Other than that. 4 stars and I will be returning. I just wish they had Tapatío Doritos and then I wouldn't have to do La Mega's parking lot. Nance paletas, yep! I think I will be making a few trips here antes de ir a Bladensburg Water Park. (They do accept Credit Cards but with a limit. Not uncommon so that's that.)

I had driven past this place a couple times and seems fully stocked of different types of fruits. When I went inside the fruit look fresh and the mangos were just the way I like them. This time I just picked up one item but next time I need vegetables or fruits I will definitely visit this place again. They also sell a couple different International grocery food items.
