This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL business I have ever been to in my life. If I could give it zero…read morestars, I would. That's how completely disappointed I was with my experience at this SCAM of a "medical" spa. First off, I decided to go there when a friend told me about these pills that were "prescribed" to her from a medical spa. I saw how much weight she had been losing and wanted to have the same results so I decided to do the weight loss program there too. Even though it was over an hour drive for me, I thought it wouldn't matter because I would look and feel great. So I got there early because I figured I'd have a lot of paperwork to fill out, being a new "patient". The young girl working the front desk (Anna was her name) was unbelievably rude and condescending when she asked me how often I would like to come in... of course I didn't know how to respond, seeing as I had never been there before. She said you can either come every 2 weeks or you can come every month, so since I live far I told her I would prefer to come once a month. She said okay and asked me for $90. I hadn't even seen the "doctor" yet! I didn't even know what this weight loss program was about or what I was needing to pay for. So not really being sure of what I was being charged for, I figured it would be okay since my friend had such success doing this program. She then escorted me into a room and weighed me and gave me a b12 shot. She didn't wipe the blood off my arm and just pulled my sleeve over it after she was through... since she didn't put a band-aid on my arm I bled all over my shirt... THANKS ANNA, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU TRASHING MY SHIRT! Then the doctor came in and handed me a bottle of pills... all he explained to me was that I needed to split the pills in half and have them in the morning. He asked me what my goal was, I said I would like to slim down for my wedding that was in about 3 months. He laughed at me and said "Are you sure you want to get married?" ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS?!? What kind of "doctor" would say such a thing?! So I said "Yes, I am positive." This was his response, "Yea, well come talk to me in about 10 years, I'm sure you'll feel differently." I mean, really? REALLY?!? I was dumbfounded by his unprofessional antics and walked out with the bottle of pills in hand. My cousin had gone with me and was confused that I was out so quick... I looked at the clock, I had been in there for 5 minutes! So we left and I told her what he had said and she was laughing in disbelief. I immediately decided that I didn't feel comfortable taking these pills from an unmarked bottle. Once we got home from our hour drive from Rockford, I opened the bottle and saw only 7 pills in there... Now I am no mathematician, but if I was supposed to take a half a pill a day for a month... shouldn't I have had 14 pills? I paid for a month worth of pills and received only enough for 2 weeks. I was mad, not because I wanted to take the pills, but because I paid $90 for nothing. I called my friend and told her what happened and how the "appointment" went. She freaked out because she said the same thing happened to our other friend when she went there, only she was lucky enough to realize she had been jipped when she got into the parking lot. They are trying to trick people there. So I called Juventas Medical "Scam" and told them what had happened, she (her name was Margie) asked me if I could come back in and pick the rest of them up. I explained that I was already home and an hour away, so i would not waste the gas and time to come back to their joke of a business. They said they would send the rest of the pills to me in the mail. I explained that I just wanted my money back for half the pills because I did not want to take them and I did not want to return to their "spa". Margie said she didn't know how to do a return on a credit card machine, so they would only be able to send me the pills in the mail. So I gave up and said that would be fine. She said they would be there in a few days. A week went by and I had received nothing. I called there again and talked to Margie and said, I haven't gotten anything in the mail, so I would like my money back. She said, "Hun, I personally put that package in the mail myself. Are you sure you didn't get them?" First off, don't call me "Hun". Secondly, they need to train their receptionists a little thing called "customer service". I said, "Yes, I am positive I didn't get them." She asks me to hold, and forgets to put me on hold and is asking around the office if someone sent out the package to me. She comes back on the phone and says, "Anna dropped them in the mailbox the day after you called." So I asked her, "I thought you just told me you put them in the mail, PERSONALLY." She stumbled over her words for a little bit as she explained that she wrote on the envelope and then told Anna to put them in the mail. To be continued...

I bought a Groupon thinking that the 1 month weight loss program would be comparible to another…read moreweight loss program in Rockford. However, the doctor only wanted to perscribe me 1/2 pill per day instead of 1 pill per day. Therefore, I was paying more by seeing this doctor since the Groupon cost $45 for 15 pills. I can get two weeks worth of pills, 14 pills, for $40 by visiting the other weight loss clinic. Also, I was not told the different prices for the services, if I plan on going back next month. I would recommend going to Dr Chou who is located in Loves Park since he has set fees. The first visit is $50 and each additional week is $20. The visits include a weeks worth of pills or more if you want and a Vitamin B-12 shot. Another option, would be to buy phentermine at a website online that does not require you to have a perscription.
