Calling the banks central "fraud prevention" is an 800 number with ladies who only give first names and robo hold of "please stay on the line and the next available operator will get to you our call is very important to us" for over five minutes. How is that even remotely secure, confidential, protecting your information and assuring follow through accountability and documentation of the paper trail of the issue? Ok they gave a new debit card but the false charge is still there and no assurance it won't happen again. Does not feel like a safe place.

After considering hiding my money in a tin box out by the big silver maple tree, I took a friend's suggestion and opened an account with Golden Eagle. And I have not looked back. You are treated like a human being. The folks are professional-- and when I made an EPIC error in transferring funds to where I ruined my checking balance, they helped me out to where I was "In the Black" again. I also find the online banking easy to use.

When I needed to pull some out, I was told I had to close the entire account. Now this wasn't so bad. He told me it should only take a few days to have my check from the investment. I am on week three right now and can't get a straight answer on where my money is. The advisor who help me set it up apparently only works like 2 days out the week. I called the investment company to get answers and was told it should only take a few days to a week to have everything taken care of. Nobody at 5/3rd knows where my money is or why its taken this long. All I know is im never doing anything with this bank again. I'd rather trust my money to a monkey. I honestly feel like I've been robbed, lied to, tricked, and betrayed.
