2026 Review - This place is nice! We went there last Wednesday to play trivia and they didn't have…read moreit...but guess what they did have (Spongebob Voice)? PENGUINS VS. FLYERS ON EVERY SCREEN!!! When I say every screen, I think they have about 30 televisions surround the entire interior of the building as well as what looks like how Hockey games have the scoreboard around the center, that's how it is their with the televisions. Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! Every bite makes you want another. The waitresses their are attentive, communicative, responsive, they have jokes and are very polite and respectful. It's a place you can take your Mother.

A few in my group got food and had nothing but positive reviews. Awesome drink menu. Plenty of draft beers to pick from. Happy hour daily. Service was excellent. Very patient and helpful! We came in on a Monday and got seated immediately. Would definitely come back. Good spot overall! Your typical sports bar but classier!

History class would've been a lot more interesting if it ended with onion soup and roast beef…read more The Dobbin House in Gettysburg isn't just a restaurant--it's a living piece of American history. Built in 1776, it has been a family home, the first classical school west of the Susquehanna River, a stop on the Underground Railroad, and even a Civil War field hospital. Today, you can grab an incredible meal while surrounded by centuries of history. If you go, eat in the basement tavern. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip. I kicked things off with the Baked King's Onion Soup, loaded with perfectly toasted cheese and a surprise twist--shredded beef that took it to another level. I followed that with the Spit Roasted Chicken Dinner, roasted the old-fashioned way over an open fire until the skin was perfectly crisp while the meat stayed juicy and tender. Because apparently I arrived with the appetite of all 19 Dobbin kids, I also ordered the Dobbin's Hot Beef Sandwich. Tender roast beef on a buttery brioche roll with rich au jus for dipping? Absolutely demolished it. Then came the roast beef club with Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, plus not one... but two sides of potato salad. Pro tip: dip the potato salad into the onion soup. You're welcome. The Dobbin House proves that great food never goes out of style. They say you can't eat history... but after this meal, I'm pretty sure I did. If these walls could talk, they'd probably tell me to slow down next time.
