Went here after a night of drinking as one of us had a craving for poutine. These folks were quick to take our order and made them up well. The poutine was okay, but lacked flavor. The gravy was pretty much tasteless and the fries were too soggy. The original burgers were made up perfectly and tasted so good with the charred patties. The junior chicken sandwich wasn't that good. The chicken was breaded and cooked well, but tasted generic. I would stick to the original burgers, you can't go wrong. read more

Harvey's is a Canadian Fast Food chain that stays open late, makes greasy fast food, and usually doesn't take too long to get made. Nobody comes here for an A+ dining experience or for the best burger they ever had, so when I stopped here on Boxing Day for a quick bite before crossing the border. I went through the drive through and settled on ordering the Buffalo chicken sandwich with french fries and a pop on the side. The drive through was super fast and I managed to order and pull away and under 5 minutes. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty good and dare I say hotter then I would of expected it to be. The french fries were standard fast food fries (which is a good thing, or at least it was to me). Overall, this is a pretty good Harvey's location offering solid food, friendly employees, and since I went through the drive through....a good parking lot? Either way, this place is safe bet for a quick bite. read more

The Buffalo chicken poutine was alright it definitely wasn't bad. But the Buffalo chicken wasn't the best, the gravy, fries, and curds were good tho. The burger really had no taste all I tasted was bacon. If I get a burger I wanna taste everything. The soda was good and the onion rings were good too. Got here pretty fast too. Service was good I just didn't like the burger everyone is entitled to there own opinion though and I think if you haven't tried Harvey's before you still definitely should. read more

This place is amazing! We stumbled upon this gem by accident, and boy am I glad we did, the service was great and the fun was amazingly delicious and fresh. We loved it so much we went 2 times in one day lol, the poutine is a must here! I had a burger and a regular Poutine and when I went back I tried the Double Bacon cheese poutine, it was big and delicious, my husband had the Spicy Poutine, and it was so spicy and so tasty, they have good milkshakes too! For a fast food joint I was real impressed with the cleanliness and customer service of this location. It is located in Niagara Falls (on the Canada Side) and is surrounded by a ton of other options for eating so I feel this Canadian classic gets overlooked. We wanted to try a local fast food chain while there and since there were two 5 star reviews for Harvey's we thought it was a no brainer. We'd wanted to try poutine (fries, cheese curds, brown gravy...Mmm, cholesterol!) so the hubs got the Canadian burger with poutine and I got the same but with fries and we both got apple pies since we were thrilled to see they were fried...the way God intended. It was cool they dressed the burgers in front of you and it seemed much more fresh that way. The poutine was awesome, heart attack inducing goodness. The fries were decent. I noticed the beef tasted much different than the States. I couldn't put my finger on it at first and then I said "this tastes like salsbury steak" and the hubby said yeah it kind of did. I dipped it in the gravy and it definitely tasted like a Hungry Man TV dinner on a bun. The hubby did the same and agreed it was spot on Salsbury steak. Not quite the burger I was craving but a decent change of pace. The apple pie was awesome though a little heavy handed on filling over apple. Would we go back? I think we both said not likely but it's not that it was bad, just not our cup of tea. It was also nice to see so many people eating in instead of going through the drive thru. read more

It's tough to write a review on fast food chains, because, well, they're usually so similar everywhere you go. Not living in Canada, I had never been to a Harvey's before, but the burgers are fantastic, but not cheap for fast food. I got the back bacon cheeseburger combo with poutine for $9.08. I kept wishing we had these in the States! This location isn't a walkable distance from the Falls, but, who doesn't have a car when they visit Niagara Falls anyway? read more

Whoever said this is better than in and out is crazy. First of all it is expensive for a burger take out joint. I had he original and the burger patty had the same consistency of spam. I mean, I like spam but not in my burger. Thy also go overboard on the pickles and I am not a big fan of pickles. I do like their sauce variety. Though I wish I can put it on myself to my liking. Overall, skip if you are visiting the area. If you grew up with it, you can go for the memory sake but nothing too exciting. read more

My Best Last Minute Meal Choice Sometimes I get stuck without food that's easily prepared or without the desire to cook anything. When that happens I head over to Harvey's I like their burgers mainly because I add what I want on it which is usually the same, but sometimes I make small changes. I've never been disappointed there compared to how many times I looked inside a Mc D's box to wonder how come the burger gets smaller yet prices increase. I would not make a Harvey's burger my last meal on earth, but I recommend it to anyone who's never tried it. read more

I don't care if this place is a chain...like an equivalent to the multiple Carl's Jr. spots we have here in California, but I really liked this place. I liked the fact that you can choose what you want in your burger and they're displayed behind the glass counter for you to point to what looks good. Their poutine was good for me too. I guess the gravy might have been on the salty side, but overall...I could have eaten 3 orders of it. ...the only way to get here is probably by car or some kind of transportation, because it would be a pretty far walk for a tourist to walk the distance to this place since it's a couple of miles away from the Falls. read more

This place is gross. If I could give it a 0 I would. The burger didnt taste like meat. More like a rubbery texture of some kind of foreign substance. Harvey's has been around since before I was born, but it seems to have been concentrated in the East, since I never saw one before being taken to one in Toronto in 1982. But the more I visit, the more I like it. I like the fries with the skin on (because that's the way I make it myself). I like the fact that I can get a salad instead of fries with a combo. (Yeah. I like the fries, but I know they're not good for me. I like the poutine, too, and I KNOW it's not good for me.) I love the fact that the chocolate shakes look, smell, and taste like chocolate. (Yes, I'm looking at you, big burger chains, with your beige "chocolate" shakes which were apparently designed for people who are allergic to chocolate...) I like the way the patties are grilled. It doesn't matter whether it's beef, chicken, veggie, or turkey, they all taste good. (Even the turkey, which, for reasons I can't explain, other chains, even the gourmet burger chains, never seem to get quite right.) Harvey's is quickly becoming my favourite fast food joint. But, yeah, the prices are definitely higher than other chains. I tell myself that I'm willing to pay more for food which is so much tastier, but I do wish they'd sharpen their pencils a little. read more

Their burgers had a really weird consistency and while the bread was fluffy, it was massive compared to the burger. My date had poutine and was horrified at the amount of bland gravy they ladle onto it. Not impressed with much of this facility, wouldn't recommend trying to grab a "cheap bite" here either because it's really expensive. read more

Favorite fast food chain in Niagara Falls. Burgers are ok, I like the Subway-ish setup where you see them top your burger with toppings of your choice in front of you. Poutine is great, so is their chocolate shake. Place is usually busy, especially at lunchtime. read more
