I believe this place is called Steve's Poutine or something along those lines. Had a very eclectic menu, many choices to choose from. We went with the traditional, cheese curd and gravy over the fries. Fries were crispy, gravy was thick, warm and tasty, cheese curds melted overtop the fries. The medium size is big enough to share with a few people. Wanted to try another flavor but ran out of time. Small place, very fast service and priced nicely being in a touristy spot in Niagara Falls. A great 8.9 out of 10

Delicious food, and it was super quick to come out. The feel inside was great, and there was plenty of seating.

Boyfriend HAD to have routine while in Ontario. Stopped by this place. He had the traditional which took forever to make. Saturday night 8:38, the two young men working could not stop talking smack about their co-workers. Apparently one of them will walk out if he is ever scheduled with Ashton. Poutine is not for me, but the boyfriend loved it, so there is that.

Stopped into Smoke's to try some authentic poutine, at a highly recommended spot by a friend. It's a chain, but he swears their quality cannot be beat There were a number of menu options, we decided to try the Philly cheesesteak steak poutine. All options start with the same base of French fries with cheese curds and gravy. But not knowing exactly what we were getting into, we decided to share an order. When they asked what size, he pointed to the container sizes, so we opted for large...not realizing how full they pack the containers! The shop is very small, with limited seating inside. The walls covered with funny slogans and self advertisement. Being off peak eating season, the order came out quickly, and damn was that thing full! It was packed full of toppings, super flavorful, but wildly messy. Definitely something you're going to want to eat with a fork. As good as it was, we did our best to finish it off, but didn't want to make ourselves sick, so had to let some go. It was definitely enough to feed two very hungry adjust. I'd definitely go again and try some of the other flavors. I'm glad we went and would recommend

As a tourist who has never had great poutine from Quebec, I think this was very good poutine! A lot of locals hate on this place but I couldn't find a reason to be upset. My fries were fresh, the curds squeaked in my mouth, and the gravy was flavorful. The service was friendly and helped me pick out a local favorite to add on to my traditional. The ambience is fast food seating and grease smelling, but it's not fine dining. I recommend for anyone visiting from the states who wants to try it.

    Good small place. Good poutine!

My wife and I stopped here for our first bite to eat after arriving in town. Definitely will be back! Absolutely delicious

Interesting stop while in Niagara Falls near the Clifton Hill district. This location is on a busy side street north of the Clifton Hill district. They offer parking at $4/car which is fairly reasonable considering some of the adjacent options. Inside is fairly small, well traveled and not well kept. The kitchen was small and only two people appeared to be working on what was a busy lunch rush. We love poutine, were back in Canada, and who can say no to a "poutinerie"? They have an array of choices over frozen type fries. Pricing varied from $12 to $17 canadian and $3 for a water. We tried traditional and bacon cheeseburger. We enjoyed both options, the gravy was flavorful with fresh cheese curds, the bacon and burger were tasty but fries were just okay. Portions were large and the two boxes were plenty for my party of 3. It was OK and satisfied the craving for the foreseeable future. With so few people working, the array of toppings for the various poutine options are made well in advance. I like having some options but I feel this place would do better with a simplified menu.

This is how I ordered the custom poutines and they were outstanding

The quality and taste of the poutines at this establishment were probably the least traditional but the most flavorful we've had yet in Canada. We got it with sriracha, guacamole, jalapeños, cheese sauce, roasted red peppers, pulled pork and perogies. You can add as many or take away as many toppings as you want but be careful it can get expensive doing too many toppings as they charge per topping, and it's even more expensive ordering from Uber eats like we did because they usually up charge the menu more on the platform in addition to all the other fees and tips. The flavors were popping, everything was super yummy and we would definitely order again

They forgot the cheese curds :(

Ordered two meal size which came to a little over $40 CAN so a bit pricey for chips, but usually this place is pretty solid. Lots of options and everything is prepared once ordered so you have hot fries each time. With that said, this time they got my order wrong and left out the cheese curds on my classic poutine and didn't separate the meat from my Korean bbq order. Overall the food was still great but a meal size is plenty for two adults to share. If you're just wanting to try this place start with the snack size. The flavor of the gravy is great and pairs well with all of the different flavors they offer. Worth a visit even if you're just walking over from the US border.

Large, double pork poutine--good portion for 2 people, but do not recommend getting the pork

This is the worse poutine I have had at Smoke's. The dining area was a little dirty and not well maintained. We got a large, double pork poutine. It was $25 CDN before taxes. The fries weren't very crispy and the gravy was salty. I regret listening to the cashier's recommendation that Smoke's had good pulled pork. It was sweet and the texture was stringy. The bacon wasn't crispy as pictured, but looked old and fatty. Avoid this location and save the calories for a better poutine experience in Canada.

    Butter Chicken Poutine

Poutine was delightful, the bathroom decor was a highlight. We got the Avalanche and the butter chicken. Both were piping hot, cheese curds melting deliciously, great toppings. It's a counter service place but our food came out pretty quickly. I wanted a tiny bit more flavor in the butter chicken but I really like spice, so that's a me problem. It was still delicious and the Avalanche was spectacular with the ranch. It was well worth our jaunt over to Canada for dinner!

A little disappointed. They seem to have changed ownership or something, but they didn't have much of what the website was listing. What I had was really salty and greasy, but that's it. Not what I expected.

(A particularly fond memory is sitting in the car with my brother after we had ordered through the car hop service at the former Granville House, listening to Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on CBC, and seeing the tray swaying up and down because we were laughing so hard the car was shaking.) That is, until I moved to Ontario, because White Spot is a B.C.-only kind of place. Since then, they have spun out Triple O's. You can find them in Alberta, Ontario, and even Hong Kong. Triple O's is a kind of mini-White Spot, but it's actually sort of the "best of" from the White Spot I remember: burgers, fish and chips, and shakes (minus the "Chicken Pick'ns", which, sadly, have also disappeared from White Spot's menu). White Spot still offers those dishes, plus a bunch of more upscale fare, and dining at White Spot is no longer affordable. Now, it's the kind of place you go for special occasions (unless money is no object). And, sadly, Triple O's is also at the top end of pricing for fast food joints. But still, for this homesick B.C. boy, chowing down on a Legendary burger took me back. It's still as good as I remember. But, to be fair to those who didn't grow up with White Spot, it may just come across as good, but overpriced.

Plenty of parking, so I made my way inside the building. The outdoor signage is super bright and bold. You absolutely cannot miss it. Inside looks like your standard walk-up counter, but all the ingredients are on display so you know exactly what you're getting. I opted for a chicken and shredded beef combo burrito. And then you get to watch them put it together. First, they grill the tortilla, and then loaded up with all the goodies, cilantro, peppers, everything you want in a burrito beans, lettuce and then they put the meat on top which I thought was a very nice touch. Touch. Then you add your hot sauces and they wrap that thing up. Grill it again to get a nice brown char on the outside and put it in a bag for you to take home. I got to tell you, is one of the best damn burritos I've had in a long time. The meat was cooked perfectly, the hot sauce was just spicy enough to give it a kick and I loved every minute of this burrito. I will definitely be checking this out again. Bottom line? If you are in the market for a burrito, and why wouldn't you be, this is definitely a place you want to go check out. Fat bastard burrito company is definitely in my top five for getting a burrito when I'm in Canada.
