Everything is ridiculously vague. The pick up location indicated one area outside the Fairmont Hotel, but there was no signage and a very helpful valet pointed us to the pickup location. We were in place over 10 min early with one person still monitoring the other designated stop just in case, but that didn't mean anything because the "pickup times are approximate." We waited about 25 minutes and figured that the bus running over 15 minutes late seemed a bit extreme, so my SIL called the company. Apparently the bus came and left from who knows where and we never even saw it despite being able to see clearly down five different streets. Our next option was to wait over an hour for the next bus, but the person on the phone couldn't provide the exact bus pick up location, which made waiting pointless if the bus was not going to be at the advertised location. We ended up sightseeing on our own.

We booked the back roads tour which lasted 2 hours, with a stop at a candle shop owned and operated by an Amish family. Also a stop at an Amish home which you are quickly ushered through (but get to see how they live) to the quilting area where you can purchase quilts, etc. The quilts are made right in the home, and while very expensive this family does take layaway. We passed buggies on our journey as we drove along the back roads. We learned a lot about the Ohio Amish, which are apparently different from other Amish communities I have visited in the past. If you are in the area, book the tour. It is well worth your time and you will learn quite a bit.

My family was fascinated by the old streetcars and learning about how Cleveland's Rapid system started. The museum has a huge collection of restored rail cars and it's a very peaceful, outdoor setting. It's one of the best educational things to do in Medina County. If you're a railfan or just looking for a cool local spot to explore on a Saturday, put this on your list. Affordable, educational, and run by people who truly care about preserving history. Rides are only offered on the second and fourth Staurdays of each month.

Here is a trolley, interurban, streetcar museum in an area one would least expect, in fact many…read morefolks in the area do not even know of its existence. Only open one day a week, the museum has two sets of buildings containing a number of their rolling stock and another group of rolling stock exposed to the elements. I totally enjoyed talking about our experiences visiting other rail museums in the country. In the future, the museum hopes to run a track with a live overhead wire and one can see the work in progress. Each of the housed rolling stock has a placard with all the information a railfan could want. The museum is free and one is given a personal tour with a member.

The next day, we had a wonderful buffet breakfast and then the show, one more stop at Hometown Kitchen for an Amish family style meal. I can't believe that they do not have any previous Yelp reviews. Also, Margaret was our driver, and she was also awesome. I would for sure take another overnight tour with this company. We were well fed and entertained.

I initially sat at the front of the boat, but I could not hear the narration, so I moved to the back. The information was interesting and I enjoyed the views. The tour had a large, separate group in attendance. One person in their group distributed tickets one at a time when it was time to board, while people not in their group were already queued and waiting to board. It would have been better for those not in the group to have the group distribute tickets before boarding to not hold up the line. I went to the booth the previous evening, Friday, for the 8 p.m. sunset cruise. I was disappointed to learn there was only one ticket left, when we had two people. I regretted not booking online earlier (mostly because I didn't want to pay a ticket fee). I called earlier around 3 p.m. to confirm the departure time; it would have been nice if the person advised me to get a ticket early.
