Always a great time at Hatch! We've been a couple of times. Great customer service-- polite, professional, and very quick to meet all of our needs. We've yet to have a bad experience at Hatch, so we'll continue to come for brunch. Weekdays are preferred as the restaurant is a lot less crowded, but weekends are still a great time to go also. So many great things on the menu: the tumblers are sooo good! Think hash browns in the shape of a hush puppy. So crispy and so good! Pretty much everything is good to try: the breakfast sandwiches, French toast, egg Benedict's, kitchen sink etc. The pancakes are a bit too sweet and thick for my liking, but still give them a try. My minor modifications to the coyote omelet plate were well received and executed. I do recommend you ask for the hatch hollandaise and mix it with the green verde sauce instead of their Christmas sauce mix. My step dad had a breakfast Cuban at the waitress recommendation. He said it was good. My son had their PanOk classic pancake. It is shaped like oklahoma which was neat. He liked it. I stole a small bite and thought it was ok but not as good as it first looked with all the bacon and pecans. My only issue is noise. From the time you walk in the door you can tell that there is an emphasis on customer service, and quality ingredients. Everything tasted unique, fresh, and made in house. Our food had some unique flavors. It was hot fresh, well seasoned and in abundance. The atmosphere was lively and elevated without feeling stuffy, yet still comfortable. Huge kudos to Alex. We were given menus at the family day ceremony for the graduating trainees at Fort Sill. We also received a free appetizer. The customer service was a 10/10. The food on the other hand, not so great. We placed a to go order and picked it up on time but the food was cold. The pancake flight was a decent option. I should've probably picked different options. The pancakes were a decent size. For it to be a to-go order, the toppings should've been put on the side. The hashbrown tumblers tasted old and were super hard. The restaurant was cute and clean. They also offered outdoor seating and there was plenty of parking. Had a Coyote Omelet without the peppers, and it was very nicely done with onions cooked just the way I like them - soft cooked so they still have some crunchy in them. My family and I were visiting from California to see our brother graduate from basic training at Fort Sill, and we loved Hatch so much we came back 3 days in a row! The pancakes and hash brown tumblers are an absolute must-try, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For lunch, the Monte Cristo sandwich was a huge hit with my family as well. The service was excellent every single visit, especially on our second day when our server went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We also had the chance to meet the owner, Shay, who was incredibly personable and handled everything with kindness and professionalism. We waited with menus down on the table ready to order while our server cleaned 3 tables surrounding us before taking our drink order. Why do we get charged $5 to replace pork bacon with turkey bacon?? If you're going to charge full price for the turkey bacon then give credit for the pork bacon that I didn't get! Hollandaise sauce on the salmon Benedict was a consistency of juice because it soaked in the bread & was not visible at all. Please don't offer sparkling water and then serve soda water. It is not the same and people who drink sparkling water know the difference. If you are trying to be a fancier restaurant and offer options like sparkling water, actually have sparkling water and not soda water from a machine. Also, I ordered a brunch box and never received it because apparently they were out of champagne... that's rough for a brunch spot! Tried the new restaurant on the block this morning. It's new so everything decor-wise looks fresh and clean. There's a few TVs on the wall and plentiful seating. There's also a bar which you don't see in many breakfast restaurants. The hostess was very friendly as was the waitress and both seemed competent and prompt. The food was very tasty! Everything was cooked exactly as I asked and it came out pretty fast. The one thing I wasn't crazy about was the hash brown tumblers the hush puppy looking things. Crispy on the outside soft on the inside with a slight onion flavor. Just not my favorite. I'd rather have plain hash browns. They served a salad which was tasty but kind of an odd thing around here to get that with your breakfast. Not sure who designed that onto the plate. The bacon was long and thin. I would say probably as thin as Cracker Barrels but longer but also not as wide so kind of hard to judge whether you're getting a better deal here or there. Decent taste though and cooked exactly as I asked. A couple of the small town cafes offer you bigger pieces of bacon in both with and length and you get four pieces. I had to order the toast extra which baffles me because every breakfast comes with some sort of bread around here. I never have I been given just one piece. Usually it's two pieces of toast or two biscuits or pancakes some places will give you a single biscuit but it's usually a bigger one. The coffee was from Veridian per the waitress and was good but at $4.75 for a single cup, man that's a lot. I know things have gone up but not long ago you could get a fancy coffee for that money. The three slices of bacon was $5 and the single piece of sourdough was $2. It just seems pricey to me. As somebody once put it's steak prices in a hamburger kind of town. If this were OKC higher prices are expected but not in Lawton, America. I'll probably go back and try something else or take out somebody that wants fancier type breakfast but too expensive to be a regular patron. read more

Shay, The fact of the matter is, when we called, we were not told anything about any kind of event happening in your restaurant. We were told that there would be no issue seating our party of 8 when we arrived, as your business on this Thursday morning was about what you normally have. As was explained when we called, we were coming from out of town and we put ourselves on the waitlist when we were within the 40 mile radius of your restaurant. So, setting expectations before we arrived, was not done. Had that happened, we could have made a decision about whether to come to your restaurant or not before ever having the misfortune of meeting you. As far as being rude, my friend explained to the hostess that we had called prior to coming and that we had a limited amount of time to get to her mother's funeral, but instead of showing any kind of compassion for someone who might have been grieving, you chose to come to the front of your restaurant with a chip on your shoulder and a point to make, instead of taking care of your customer or even trying to understand or initiate a conversation that would deescalate the situation. Big goofy looking dude in a red shirt tells one of the soldiers at our table "dang you ask a lot of questions" and then proceeds to forget to put in one of our party's order. When that person no longer wanted his food he tells them it's "too late I already put it in". He also brings out the wrong drink for me (coke, I asked for diet) and doesn't bring out someone else's drink as well, and says "well I brought out a coke, you want this?" Pretty awful waiter. Have family visiting from another state and thought this would be a great time to try this new place for the first time. We got on the waiting list and waited for 45min for our table, once we got to the table we weren't even sitting down before the waitress was asking what we wanted to drink and I knew this was a sign that it wasn't going to be a good experience. We ordered the monkey bread appetizer and it was okay.. we got that and our drinks with no problem. A little over an hour after we ordered the table that was seated 20min after us received their food. We asked the waitress if our was coming as our 9 month old was now getting a bit restless. She assured us it wouldn't be much longer and then the other table that was next to us received their food... they were seated 45min AFTER us! I then asked if our ticket was lost.. the manager told us our food would be out in about 10-15min. This assured me that I was correct and our order was lost or never put in! We asked to pay for our drinks and we were leaving.. they ended up comping our appetizer and our drinks and we went to get lunch as we entered at 11:45 and it was now 1:43pm.
