Haven't eaten at this CB in over 3 yrs. We heard it was much better than before so we went today 8 May for fish fry. The place was clean, the food was pretty good. The waitress I think was new as she wasn't familiar with the menu but she did ok. The waitresses apron were clean. They weren't very busy. I would think the manager would stop by and see how everything was. Only 5 of us in the entire place. We will return again soon read more

One star is one too many!! Service was horrible, waitress cussed in front of kids and the food was cold and uncooked. Many parts of the meals were missing and instead of being told when it was ordered or put in the system; we had to ask about it after it was delivered. At that point the waitress said "it's out" and we were never offered a second option. Our food was cold except 1 plate and when the waitress picked that up she cussed in front of my young kids. When we asked for a manager she stormed away then came back and said she would discount a meal. We asked for a manager again, the manager never came out. A waiter came over and we asked him to have a manager come out and the manager finally came out. While checking out the cashier was not friendly and completely standoffish. Save your time and frustrations, go somewhere else. read more

I love a good Cracker Barrel breakfast but it's hit or miss at this location. The eggs were well over cooked today and the bacon had no flavor. The pancakes were good and the fried apples. The biscuit and gravy come separated which is fine but the biscuit are very small and the gravy is hit or miss as well today it was very thick and not appealing. If I were to go back it's to shop the store. On the great side our server was amazing. She was always coming to check and see if we needed anything. She would bring me a glass of tea even before I was completely out. 10/10 on service today. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. One star is way too much. Where do I start. I sat for 35 mins before getting my order taken. In the midst of that my server quits and walks out. I sat here defeated watching her walk through the parking lot to her car. Once my food came, it came incomplete and I again (you guessed it) waited another 15 mins for the rest of my food. The country fried chicken was dryer than scoop of pre workout scooped right out of a 95 year old grandmas left knuckle. I grew up eating CB and after this I will never eat here again. I should've stayed home. I'm more mad at myself for even coming here. I gave my dog the leftover fried chicken and he wouldn't eat it. That should say something. All in all this is the worst dine in experience I've ever had and I will probably end my life tonight due to this inconvenience. Do not eat here, boycott the Lawton CB! SAVE YOURSELF!!! P.S. Over the past weekend I stopped by a Cracker Barrel for dinner, this one was in Lawton OK. Very clean as always and the hostess was very nice. I sat at my table and the place wasn't busy at all this was around mid afternoon. Now as I sat and watched the waitress pass by me and other people had be seated after me no one came to my table to ask if I'd been served yet, which I hadn't but the other people after me were being served. Hmmm so after about 15 minutes of this I politely got up and walked out. I informed the hostess the issue and then I left this restaurant. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. I'm not going back. I'd not stop here if you'd like to eat. Instead go down to next block and eat at the Bricktown brewery. At least you'll get served. read more

When one thinks of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, feelings are often mixed. For me, I think of it as an old friend where I can get pretty good food in a dining room atmosphere full of nostalgia, that is connected to a cool country store with all kinds of interesting things to browse and possibly buy. I came here for lunch with a few local coworkers. Cracker Barrel is decent for a quick lunch when there isn't another restaurant around. First time I went to a Cracker Barrel was on a business trip, and guess what, I was in Lawton on another business trip. We don't have many Cracker Barrels back home in my state. After walking up to the hostess stand, we were quickly seated with a friendly smile and greeting. It was probably 75% full in the dining room with the lunch crowd. After perusing the menu, I was excited to see Country Fried Turkey available for a limited time. Score! I ordered it with fried apples and fried okra. It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry relish along with their buttermilk biscuits. We didn't wait long for our food and man, I wasn't expecting much, but it was supper yummylicious! If you like turkey and want to experience the Thanksgiving dinner experience, you can't lose on Cracker Barrel's interpretation of turkey. I've got another business trip this month, and if I find another Cracker Barrel, guess what I'm going to order? :-) read more

I've eaten at many Cracker Barrel's across the land in my life and I hate giving this one a 3 star review, but that's all I the stars I've got for the one in Lawton, OK. The waitress was nice and personable and the food came out quickly, but the meal just wasn't up to par. I ordered the new cheese and bacon fried chicken. It was dry and flavorless. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and said pretty much the same thing. The classic cheese casserole was missing something as well. We had a group of eight. It was busy so we knew it might take a while. One of the meals ordered never came. The waitress placed the order three times with no success. It wasn't anything special just bacon and eggs! We finally spoke with the manager and she took it off our bill. Considering the brand name, I expected a good experience but that's not what we got. We were seated at a table that had a few crumbs on it and was never cleaned off. There was no salt on the table, had to take if off another table. The fork and knife were dirty. One of the bread plates that were brought was dirty. I asked for extra napkins and never got them. The waiter came to the table to take our order and even asked what we wanted, then immediately walked away then came back a few minutes later. We don't know what that was about. The only good part of the whole ordeal was that the food was fairly good. But, good enough to go back again. It's doubtful. read more

I decided to order from this restaurant because it was close by. I regret that decision. I ordered the fish/ shrimp plate and the two pieces of fish were very small, like steak fry size. The shrimp were very salty and not edible. I ordered apple cobbler and was given peach cobbler. Lastly the service provided by the cashier was rude and unwelcoming. last time i was in cb was about 3 months ago (see seperate review). but tried it again tonight. wife had blueberry pancakes and i had fried shrimp. after about 20 minutes the pancakes arrived and the wiatress asked if we wanted an extra plate meaning she assumed we were sharing the pancakes. i said no, i ordered shrimp. after another 15 minutes a 2nd waitress asked if everything ok. i said no, i ordered shrimp. eventually the 1st waitress reappeared with shrimp. about 45 minutes after i ordered shrimp and after my wife had already finished the pancakes. my shrimp finally arrived but the order was wrong as it had wrong side dishes. that was no big deal but the shrimp were grossly overcooked, like chewing on an old stinky rubbery gym shoe. service lady was working hard but they are understaffed. wife sat there with no water about 30 minutes. we will not return to this cb location. most likely never return to a cb. i usually tip about 15 -20 %. tonite for the 1st time in my life i left zero tip. my dog tho will eat the shrimp but otherwise we mostly wasted time and money. who ever cooked shrimp at around 8 pm nov 4 2025 really needs at least one basic cooking lesson. read more

As with many others, this place is a classic for me. So, I'm not gonna go much into this. All I can say is over the years, Cracker Barrel's recipes have rarely waivered. If you order that one classic that you love, then come back years later and order it again, chances are...it will taste exactly as you remember it. For the most part.. Ya see, I forgot to add a slight caveat here. Right after I ordered my breakfast, I noticed the hashbrown casserole was....a lot blander than I remembered. Possibly because I can also make this very same side dish at home, only with a more generous contribution of sodium. BUT....still....it should have tasted of more seasoning, I reckon. Service was spot on...possibly because it was 7:30 in the morning on a Wednesday and there were hardly any patrons there, but....I digress. I also appreciate the fact that their coffee doesn't taste like tea, as do so many other breakfast places do. And yes....Cracker Barrel is also good for dinner. But...I prefer their breakfast. So, they get 4 hashbrown casseroles seasoned up by yours truly out of 5. read more

I tend to want to give good reviews but today's service & food is making that pretty impossible. To keep things in perspective, it's basic training graduation weekend so I expect things to run a little slow and be busy. Then we were warned that there was a back up in the kitchen due to a couple of power blips. Okay, with all this in mind I was willing to be patient, but my patience runs out when I see people who were sat & ordered after us being served before us. It was busy, so it was a 20 min wait to be set. No biggie, I get it. After 50 minutes of waiting, they brought us a basket of biscuits (with gravy on the side) and said it wouldn't be much longer. While that was nice, no one gave us utensils. Always fun eating biscuits & gravy with your fingers. Gravy was pretty good! At 69 minutes, we finally get our food after watching 2 tables that were sat & ordered after us get their food. We had to ask for utensils & the server says, oh they didn't give you any? Hun, if they did I wouldn't be asking! Server made sure to mention that the food was fresh & not just sitting there. Well that makes things worse as that tells me what I suspected. We got lost in the order process and since we were ignored for the first 50 minutes, no one noticed. And a table of 9 who sat & ordered 25 minutes after us got their food 4 minutes after us. Food was alright but not special. I looked at my plate & couldn't figure out how it took 69 minutes for this. There seem to be some problems at the Lawton Cracker Barrel & it will be a long time till I am ready to step foot in another one anytime soon. I'm gonna stick with my Black Bear Diner from now on or just make my own. It will be quicker & more satisfying that way. read more

So once I again I failed to take pictures of the food and the restaurant. For that, I apologize. :) We walk in and we are immediately greeted at the front door by a young lady saying, "Welcome, we hope you are hungry" and believe me, I was ( hence no pictures of food) :) We go to the host and we get seated right away. The restaurant is doing the social distancing thing so the customers were spread out decently. All the staff are wearing masks and most of them wore gloves. I did notice the tables getting sanitized immediately after the guests seated left. My brother ordered the meatloaf, and I'm guessing by how quickly he devoured it, it was delicious, or he was starving ( like me ), or both. My niece ordered chicken strips like every other child I know ( sort of kidding ) & I had the southern style fried chicken. Mine was awesome, chicken was juicy, tasted great, and honestly tasted very fresh like it was just made. The waitress brought us bread, but the corn bread was old, cold, and stale. I mean, they were bricks basically. That was about the only negative part of the meal. The biscuits however, were freshly made and perfect. Our waitress was new and learning the ropes. She did a nice job checking on us and ensuring we enjoyed our food and that our drinks were refilled. The waitress training her was also on top of things stopping by several times as well. We stopped in last night around 6 pm for supper and there weren't many people inside. The host told us that it would be a fifteen minute wait. After 25 minutes of waiting, I went to go check in with the host. The host stand was empty and he didn't come back for another 5 more minutes. He told me that it would be another 15 minute wait. I told him that we had already been waiting for 30 minutes and it is difficult to wait with children. He said that "The craziest thing just happened in the back." We ended up leaving and driving though somewhere for the kids. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. I also thought it was odd that in spite of all the waiting and lack of customers, we were never approached by a manager. read more

Every Cracker Barrel is the same especially this one. I've been here over 20 times in the past couple of months and to tell you the experience was good would be a exaggeration. The food is decent and good for the pricing but the service is always 50/50. I'll either have a nice server who doesn't know how to take care of the table or have server who seems like their day has be Sh1t. The food on average takes an hour to come out and always taste the same. If your wanting a place that you know will always give u mediocre food but cheap then go here. read more

This restaurant deserves a rating of 0. My husband and I went there for lunch, and the place was just dirty. The table was sticky, trash and food on the floor, along with dirty silverware. The man who was clearing the tables had on galoshes like you would wear in a stable, and dirty clothes, not unlike the wait staff. He was shoving dirty dishes in a ratty, dirty tub, while people were trying to eat their lunch. God only knows what the kitchen looked like. Poor management, and a real embarrassment to Lawton. Stopped in ma before a shopping trip. The hostess was super friendly and seated us asap. The waitress seemed like she loved her job and enjoyed interacting with customers. I had a steak and mom had turkey dinner. Unfortunately, this left no room for dessert. The steak was cooked to perfection and mom seemed to enjoy her dinner as well.
