WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. We purchased this off of Viator and it DID NOT disappoint. As visitors here on vacation sadly Clearwater didn't have a lot to offer since the temps were low eliminating water sports. But on our last day here we were glad to find this place. It offers a multitude of games to play and some alcoholic beverages of beers and things along that line. The environment, from door to bathroom was very clean and welcoming. And the cost, the Viator experience cost $100 for 2 for a 90 minute experience. We are very competitive and got the hang of the are throwing rather quickly. The experience has led us to want to play when we return home. They also offer nights for teachers, which I am, first responders, veterans, etc. If you're ever in Clearwater, stop in and throw a few around.​ read more

This place is clean, professional and exciting. Walked throu the door and was greeted immediately. The restrooms were immaculate and the facility was like new. The staff member "Sumner" was professional, kind and patient. He explained everything as many times as we needed, offered support, cheered us on and even broke up a friendly tit for tat between a mom and daughter -rivals as they were winning against eachother. He offered an array of drink selections for a fee to complete the night. We will deffinatly be back!!! Sumner, thank for being so helpful. A fun and successful night! A MUST DO!!! read more

Staff is cery friendly and accommodating! They stay with you the whole time but dont get overly involved. The environment is kid friendly and fun! They have a league and lots of discounts. Reasonably priced as well. They provide shoes if you forget closes toed shoes. Definitely recommend!! read more

Always a great time here. I've become much more acquainted with the staff as I've joined the World Axe Throwing League since my last visit and attended this locations Venue Cup in November. The staff is phenomenal, Gene in particular is a favorite, Barry and Nick are beyond sweet, and the manager Austin is a great guy who's always got things handled. The first night of the Venue Cup, there was a little kerfuffle/argument caused by one troublesome guest, and Austin was quick to shut it down and ensure everyone's safety. As a Woman, even an Axe-wielding one, this made me feel more comfortable with the venue knowing that they wouldn't tolerate the unsavory behavior from a guest. There's a lot of great folks here, both those who come in to throw and the staff at the venue. I can confidently say that I always feel well taken care of anytime I come to this establishment and it's my go to venue when I'm in Pinellas county! Highly recommend this location to anyone in Clearwater who wants to throw some hatchets and have a great time. It's an incredible community to be a part of with tons of great folks to help you grasp the ropes. Who needs darts when you can throw axes? read more

Axe throwing?????? Yeas!!! I've never went thrown jng but have certainly had it on my list if things to do. Luckily, while in town my aunt asked our hotel and this location happened to be super nearby. I believe reservations are looked kindly in but we were walk-ins and the greeted with such warmth and excitement that I wish I could call this a local spot for me. My aunt had thrown before elsewhere and she was amazed at the difference of throwing here, with personal attention and instructions. I was surprised as well but also didn't know what to expect. Wow, our first time here and we are already talking about going back. Very cool place, nice beer and wine options, great people and sooooo much fun learning to throw an axe! Isaac was our expert last night and he was so helpful and patient with those of us who had never wielded an axe. He kept the fun moving with lots of different games, was great about taking pictures and definitely helped us learn to get the axe to hit and stick! This was our first time here. It was a great time. We were shown how to throw the hatchet and count points. We were also the first one there when opening. We just showed up. There were several others who came in later. He took the time to show everyone the technique while keeping on eye out where everyone was at Hatchet Hangout. He also told us about specials throughout the week. In my opinion it's too expensive with no discounts or specials. I did call later a few weeks later to ask questions. I am very disappointed in not receiving a response from them when calling, leaving a message twice and texting.messages. I received nothing from them. Fun place, clean with good service. Very pricey. $178 including 20% tip ($155 ish + tip) for two adults and two kids for 1 hour. Disabled veteran but not given veteran discount. Noticed veteran specials after paying and walking in. Inquired with attendant but was told correcting the payment was too difficult. Enjoyable but not worth the price. read more

****Way way way tooo expensive : when we were told $100 for 2x people - I was about to walk out. Only paid bc my lady just drove 4 hrs to see me. *****I'm sorry we could have went cosmic bowling which is 16$/person for unlimited bowling - which is the same thing; playing games with music; however it's open until 1am!!!! Not closing at 11pm ****It was a Friday night and the entire place was empty!!! And this is bc no body once to have a little fun, then drop $100 (for an hour to two of fun). It's throwing an axe, where is the high cost?!?! We got there at 940pm; took 30 min sign in; of which their phone form waiver kept messing up and wouldn't ever let you see or sign the bottom. Then they talk to you about the game which is fine and how to throw but way to long of process, but then we were watched the entire time which is very creepy... but when you are the ONLY ones there. So they close at 11, we have only 1x hour yo play, and they still charge the full 100$; don't pro rate it at all... **** But what's worse is they don't tell you the waiver is actually a membership fee!!! Bc next time I bring someone it's only 50$ they tell us... I don't want to be a member ! But want to play one stupid night. But it's unprofessional to not tell someone what they are paying for. This seemed like a hangout for the employees which there seemed to be 2x working - but there were 3-4 of their friends just hanging out. After a few rounds of playing , unless have others, it's quite boring and repetitive. ****Then we had drinks in the car, which was right outside, yet even with the high cost, we weren't allowed to have. They made us buy at they bar. I can buy a pack - of high noons for 10$. They charged $6/per. We could have went to St Pete Shuffle board Club, which is open 7-11; and 10$/person (that's non-member cost!!!! They don't force it); they also do music, unlimited play, allow dogs, and let you bring in food and drinks !!!!!! **** I'lol put money that this place doesn't stay open long!!!!! I won't be going back for that cost and experience. read more
