The beach area had tons of debris including dead fish and broken glass. This could be easily remedied with a nightly sweep of the area by staff. Some of the inflatables were not fully inflated and many of them felt slimy on the sides. Again, regular cleaning would resolve this. There also are not many chairs/umbrellas which would have upset me had we arrived later in the day as there are no other areas for shade. Despite this, we had a really fun time and I would recommend it to friends. The giant slip and slide was the highlight!

Took a weekend trip to Red River Gorge and decided to go kayaking one day. Didn't do my research on…read morethe river water levels...so my bad. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because all the employees were super nice and helpful. It'd be more of a 3 honestly. I called Sunday morning and reserved 2 kayaks for my fiancé and I, gave them my name and picked the 1pm time. Got a bit lost and called their office, told them exactly where we were and they gave us clear directions. This probably happens often lol. We ended up being about 20 mins late but parked, paid, checked in and got our life jackets and paddles quickly. Water levels are low. I repeat, water levels are low. They make it clear if this happens...once you get there. So definitely check online! If the levels aren't high enough you don't do the 7-8 miles...you go 2 miles up river and then back. With many areas where you have to get out to carry your kayak over the rocks because it's so shallow. Wear something on your feet that aren't old navy flip flops! It's much easier on the way back. But do your research and be prepared. At the turn around point there were a bunch of people hanging out at the big rock. Maybe too many for us still, but looked like a good time. We both enjoyed it and hope to be back when the levels are higher! Kudos to the friendly staff!

The customer service was terrible when we got back and explained what was wrong. The lady we spoke to said we didnt care if we were not happy. They have 3 people outside. No one inspected the kayaks even though they stated they know they have holes in them. They didnt adjust the paddles and show you how to adjust the seats. I would not recommend it. Poorest kayak trip we have ever been on.

Unless you want to have your money stolen, don't book here. not to mention. who gets robbed 500 for a kayak trip? ridiculous

The Gorge Underground clear boat cave tour was on my bucket list for a while. Booking was rather easy and responsive online. The price was reasonable for this unique guided tour. The tour starts by checking in the store, a guide will meet your grp outside for instructions and safety. They will provide the helmets and life jackets. The tour was approx 1hr long. We enjoyed the tour and learned alot about the underground cave. All the guides are good and very helpful about the tour and local area. I was kinda nervous at first, there is apart of the cave that you can touch the ceiling. Just tell the guide you would rather not if your nervous about it. The water is crystal clear and the fish are beautiful! I highly recommend if your in the area, you wont regret it. There is a bathroom outside for use, and a nice gift shop (check in upon arrival).

Very knowledgeable staff and very organized. Definitely recommend you fill out your waivers online ahead of time, gives you more time to look around the gift shop. No formal restrooms on site but the port a potties were clean and there was a handwashing station as well. Dress comfortable as the caves are a bit chilly but not very cold, depends on your tolerance of the cold. Take caution and hold onto your things securely, if it's dropped in the cave waters it's gone. We were told they will not retrieve lost items so bring phone and keys at your own risk. :)

Easy process to get your paperwork done, shuttle to the starting point, and get in the water to start your adventure. They told us it would take us a couple hours but we had a speedy grandson with us and I think we were back in an hour and 20 minutes. Lots of fun, you have to stop by and do this, you will be happy you did!!!

Prior to arriving I used the online…read morecontact information for the Marina office to inquire whether pets were allowed in the swim area and was told "yes"; however upon arriving there was a posted "no pets" sign. At that point I had my dogs in tow and could not leave them in the car (too hot) so I let the written confirmation from the office staff supersede the signage and took them onto the sand. It was not very crowded and so we were able to unobtrusively occupy a little corner and not bother / interact with other beach goers. None of them seemed to mind our presence. The beach itself is super duper pleasant! Loved our day there. Just wish it were easier to know how to follow the rules!
