I am burnt out on appointments with no results so I wasn't too happy to be sent on another appointment. I saw Regina Formentin & Kiera. Let me tell you that they are genuine & just what I needed. Life is hard enough without having to deal with people in the medical profession treating you like you are less than. Maybe they should look into another career if they've lost their compassion. Regina & Kiera both made me feel like I mattered. I was not rushed, info was well explained & I'll be happy go to my next appointment with them. My husband has been a patient of this group for 16 years. We live here 6 months and New York the other. Never ever have we been late with a payment. We recd an email notice that we owed $57 and had no bill to look at. We called the office, they finally sent one out after 5 weeks. We paid it right away ( same day)!! A very short time after that we started getting notices from a collection agency! I called the this agency and told them we already paid it but they had no record of it. I called the bank and got all the info needed to prove we already paid. This bill was paid and cashed by them LAST NOVEMBER and we are still now, in February , getting collection notices!!! We are so disgusted. We've threatened to go to the attorney Genl and the news but the notices keep on coming. We are in our 70s with a near perfect credit score. This is more than annoying. Medically, my husband was very sick and called to get in with the doctor and the receptionist told him the earliest was two weeks! He also had an MRI after having severe pain and the dr had his receptionist call and tell him the results ( which were totally incorrect). He's now seeing a Spinal surgeon bc what she said showed "normal" was definitely not! Obviously my husband will not be going back to this office and he's looking for a different doctor with better staff! read more

My mom and dad were patients of Dr. Metzer prior to Hatfield Medical purchasing the office. It has gone down hill ever since. I have never been a fan of a "call center" type place. You call a main number, get someone who has no idea who you are, has to look up the file, read the notes, hope the notes are in there from the last person you talked to, and then they will have someone call you back. If they call you back, they are not sure what information you needed, and you start the process all over again. It has been almost 3 years and the communication and care just continues to decline. Phones calls that are not returned, lost notes on what is needed for the appointment, not updating the file with new information, sending referrals to the wrong places, and so on. The front end girls at the SWMA location are rude and act as though they don't care. I have since lost my mom, and my dad's care is worth so much more than what he gets. Will be finding him a new primary care doctor. read more

I have been going to Dr. Owensby's office since 2013. I have been very satisfied with the medical team and front office staff. I still am. However, since Hatfield has taken over things have gone downhill quickly. Initially you couldn't reach the office...had to talk with a call center. Thankfully that has changed. But they can no longer give drug samples (very helpful if they are putting you on a very expensive drug and it doesn't work for you, money down the drain); they no longer give vaccines, not even the flu vaccine; because of thin walls, they have put a noise maker in the office that drives my hearing aids wild. There are other ways to fix that problem. They push Medicare Advantage and suggest you aren't capable of making your own decision about insurance if you don't want their help...very pushy. Most of all they seem like a big corporate operation rather than family doctor's office. read more
