They have little peaches, that are really sweet and good. If you have a kid who thinks he doesn't like fruit, get him some little peaches. The ice cream they carry is fabulous, and has spoiled me for any other kind. The jams they carry are also wonderful. My only suggestion: their parking lot is set up so you almost half to back out to the major road when leaving. Very dangerous. I wish they would figure out some way to have safer parking.

We were looking for a day of play, a tricky thing with a Moody Teen and his sidekick, and one that did not cost an arm and a leg. SCFG suggested Savidge, which is near their farm, so off we went. You can tell the place has been doing this for a while, as they had everything well laid out - from parking to activities to shopping. They also had a nice mix of free activities (such as a 'sandbox' full of dried corn that the kids spent over an hour playing happily in) and low- cost activities, the most expensive being $3 for a hayride to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch (cost of pumpkin you pick extra, weighed upon your return). There was mini-golf, shooting plastic balls in air cannons at targets, climbing on farm equipment repurposed as play gyms, going to see and pet baby goats, cow, piglets and see the emu, and of course the decently challenging but not impossible corn maze. Four and a half hours flew by, as the kids went from place to place. They even enjoyed a visit from some of the free-range hens who helpfully picked up any crumbs dropped around the outdoor picnic tables. Food options are as you'd expect - drinks (top price $1.50 for cold bottled water), chips, hot dogs (also $1.50). What I liked was the reasonableness of the items while still allowing the place to make a profit, not the price gouging we see at other farm operations we've been to. As for shopping - they have a beautiful selection of mums, very reasonably priced, and they have some (not an abundance, and again, not overly expensive) other food items like pickled hot peppers, etc. along with a variety of grown-on-site pumpkins, gourds, dried corn and corn stalks. Everyone who worked there was friendly, helpful and patient. We had a relaxing but entertaining day that did not break the bank, and came home with two exhausted and content boys. I have a feeling this place gets nuts in October, so go early in the season unless you don't mind big crowds. Definitely will go back again next year.

Very pleasant on the phone and in person. They provide clear instructions on how to pick your own from their orchards and escort you to the exact area. They offer fresh items in front if you don't want to pick. This bucket list item was so simple and so fun. Their customer service was wonderful, and simple. And the best part? Their peaches (the only fruit ready to pick at the time) taste divine.

I visited the farm on a Wednesday afternoon for raspberry picking. You can either bring your own basket or buy some containers there. They grow strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and more, it's impressive what they grow. I thought it was solely a berry farm but they've got everything! I picked my berries and they're plump, ripe and delicious! The only downside for me was darn mother nature not having everything ripe at the same time. It was painful walking by the blueberries knowing it was not yet season for them. It goes without saying that this is a good place to bring the kids, Its a nice outdoor activity on a summer day. Maybe picking their own green beans will make them want to eat some. This is a cash only location so make sure you bring it with you because there is no ATM on sight. The prices were very good. All in all, I would definitely return for another type of picking, and I'd recommend it to others. Just make sure you check the website for the availability of the fruit or veggies you want that day.

Their roadside stand on Center Street (512) has sort of always been there even if it's almost so small that you could very easily drive right by it. What do they carry? A little bit of everything. Fantastic flavor and they grow more than enough varieties that the blend is always a little different based on what they used for that batch. Three more noteworthy additions: Contrary to the Yelp listing, they do indeed take cards. The parking situation here is always a bit of a crapshoot. Maybe four or five spaces and in season it's interesting at best trying to maneuver in/out with the heavy traffic on this section of Center Street. The pricing for their stuff is definitely not cheap. If you're looking for "deals" or more discounted pricing like you can get by going to Berks/Lancaster County Mennonite/Amish farms for similar products, you're not getting that here. It's expensive, but it's worth it. It's very autonomous…read moreand based on the honor system- there is a little cart containing instructions, pint containers, scales, and a list of which varieties are available to be picked that day. Fill up as many containers as you want (or bring your own ans weigh it) and then pay accordingly. There is also a refrigerator with pre-picked pints if you're strapped for time. The farm is clean and well-maintained, signage is clear, and the blueberries are delicious. I'm looking forward to going back!
