When I leave the salon, I need her business cards with me. I have several people stop me (even strangers!) to ask who does my hair. It has become a joke between Michelle and me that I am her walking billboard. The best part is that Michelle actually listens to what I want. If it will look terrible, she will tell me the truth. It is hard to find a stylist that actually wants the best for me and isn't just in it for the money. I have come to trust her immensely! She explained daily specials, offered information on the three types of sunless tanning they offer and throughly explained the different beds. Key West Tan was bright, clean and comfortable. It did not feel like a pretentious tanning club nor a worn out 1990s tanning store. It is the perfect spot to stop at, say hi and get yourself a nice glow. I enjoyed my first visit and am looking forward to coming back, getting a great summer glow, as well as doing to custom sunless spray soon.

I went on a half price Sunday and the bed shut down because it was too hot. So I was told I had to…read moresave the minutes and use them the next time I went tanning. I was not offered to use the other bed to finish tanning. Then I went a month later to use the remaining minutes but I was told by the same employee I could not use them because it was half price Sunday and that I would have to come in on another day. I was already inconvenienced the first time because I did not get to use all my time I paid for and then I was being told to use the time I had to be inconvenienced again. I asked to speak with the manager and she was not available, the employee told me they would ask Melissa the owner to call me tomorrow when she was in. She didnt call me, according to her, the employee did not mention the issue to her. When I explained what happened the owner stated the minutes could just be used as a 5 minute tan only and additional minutes could not be added unless you would buy points which I never have bought because I just buy minutes. I explained that if this is their policy they should have it posted so people are aware of the rules but then I was told it is not a policy. I was being yelled at that she did not have to get reamed at for 4 minutes. I told her I was not the one yelling that she was yelling. She also put in that as a customer I dont even pay as a regular customer because I just go on half price Sundays. She went on saying she was thinking about getting rid of half price Sundays because they are too busy and cause the beds to shut down when they are overheated. She also explained that customers get upset when they close on Sundays for Holidays, I was not sure how this applied to me as I was not saying anything about that. She said she was not trying to make excuses for the employees but that that employee was a thorn in her side and due to family she could not fire them. Then she went on a rant and gave very unprofessional excuses for why that particular employee handled it poorly. In the end she said she would credit the 4 minutes of money back to my account but she never even asked my name and she hung up on me. I would say the employee learned their customer service skills from the owner. If they have policies the customers should be aware of before spending their money there they should be notified of those policies. When there is an issue it should be handled more professionally and courteously.

It is in a quiet room with one other pedicure chair, with low lighting, soft music playing, and fresh smelling aromatherapy. I'm not a huge fan of scents but they used real essential oils (not fragrance), and they were so calming and pleasant. The pedicure starts with a brief foot soak in a warm and relaxing seat. Once you soak for a few minutes they give you a blanket, a warm neck wrap, and recline the chair to zero gravity, and give you an eye cover. I genuinely fell asleep as soon as she started to massage my feet. The experience was 10/10, and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone! Thanks Sam for an amazing pedicure.

She really wanted a massage but was nervous- so I figured being in the same room would help. She has Jessica who was so sweet and explained everything to her. I don't recall the name of the lovely person who worked on me, but she was sublime! I swear at one point I thought she had extra hands.. haha. Both of our massages were top notch. I've had a lot of massages in a lot of fancy places, but this massage was probably the best one I've ever had. I came back for a hydra facial and saw Jessica, again. She did such an amazing job, I ended up getting a massage package deal. I feel like that one facial did wonders. I don't plan ever going anywhere else.
