I trusted my bag, box and receipts here for a quote as per their policy. After we could not agree on a fair price, I decided that I did not want to cosign my bag here. When I came to pick up my belongings, they put my bag in a plastic grocery bag (when I left them the bag in original box and bag) and then LOST MY ORIGINAL RECEIPT. Yes, you read that right. They pretended to look everywhere and had the nerve to assume I misplaced it when they were the ones that asked for the original receipts during the consultation. This is place is so unprofessional to say the least and super sketchy. For all I know, they probably kept my original receipt and used it as proof of authenticity for the fake bags they sell. This is hands down the best designer consignment store in Toronto. I have been looking for designer consignment store for years and Haute Classics is my favorite. I just love this store. This is the place to go if you are serious about designer goods. Great selection of bags, shoes, clothing, and accessories at reasonable prices. They have so many lovely items from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Louboutin, etc that you can't find from anywhere else. I never walk out of the store empty handed! SERIOUSLY ? Let me begin by saying this is the Best consignment store EVER for both a seller or a buyer! The store is located on young street just out side Yonge & St Clair subway station! (They relocated from Yonge and Rosedale) This store is co owned by to ladies named Stella & Jina both very down to earth and VERY kind! Staff is very friendly and always go out of there way to help me find exactly what I'm looking for! Everything in the shop looks very fashion forward only brand new or excellent condition even the vintage pieces are in very good condition! They always have plenty of Chanel quilted bags & Hermès birkins available for purchase. Not to mention a wall full of Prada,Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton,Valentino,& Celine :) Shoes are arranged by size smallest to largest left to right. If your looking for a brand new pair of Jimmy's or Louboutins without paying the off the shelf price you've come to the right place! I love this place. The selection is wonderful, and the consignment rate is great too. They'll always have something for you, and you'll never leave empty-handed. I used to come here all the time, but have been reluctant to go lately. There are two salesgirls that always seem to be there whenever I pass by. They're really obnoxious, chatting it up with their friends (I doubt 5 people are scheduled to work on a Tuesday night). I came in with a bag of clothes I wanted to donate, as another salesgirl told me HC collects clothes for Dress for Success. The two salesgirls told me they didn't do this, but would hold onto the bag for me while I shopped (it was heavy). One of them actually went through the bag of clothes while I shopped, and then told me that, oh wait, they do take donations for Dress for Success, and she would be delighted to take them. Regardless of whether she actually donated the clothes, I don't think it was appropriate for her to look through the bag without my permission. read more

I've bought designer suits and tops (Diane Von Furstenberg, Miu Miu) at this place for a fraction of what I would have paid if I had bought them new. I've never done shoes, though. The thought of wearing previously worn shoes is a tad gross. Some of the brands they carry (for example, Theory) can also be found at Winners in new condition. I once tried to sell something on consignment. There was one other shopper in the store, but the attendant told me I had to make an appointment and come back later. I never went back. read more

Been coming here for a few years now. This review is based on the sum of those experiences. Collection: Bags - very good (many Chanels, also Miu Miu, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Balenciaga, etc.) Shoes - pretty good. Accessories - pretty good (incl. Hermes scarves). Clothes - meh. The condition of the pieces is quite good. Store: Clean and bright. Well organized. 3 or 4 fitting rooms. Large sofa/bench to sit on while trying on shoes or waiting for shopping companions. Prices: Reasonable for the quality. Staff: The owners are generally pleasant to interact with. Otherwise, the majority of the staff often seem indifferent... i.e., more interested in discussing their social lives rather than helping customers (unless you're a friend/VIP). I was downright shocked, however, on my most recent visit during which I had the displeasure of witnessing some of the most rude and unprofessional behaviour. During this visit, one of the staff spent at least 10 minutes making snarky comments about the items a recent seller had brought in, another 10 minutes on a tirade about how unreasonable she felt a previous customer had been in trying to barter/negotiate the price of an item, and swore on at least 5 occasions. All of this was said loudly, on the sales floor, and with at least 4 other customers in the store. Honestly, swearing doesn't offend me and I understand how difficult it can be to work in retail, but this kind of behaviour doesn't really belong in the store during store hours. Website: Clean and professional. Easy to navigate. Pictures are great. Regularly updated with new merchandise. Love having the option to shop online. Overall, probably one of the best - if not the best - consignment stores in Toronto, in terms of selection and price... granted, there isn't much competition. This is THE best high-end consignment store in Toronto!!! I have tried out quite a few consignment stores in the past till I found Haute. I just can't say enough good things about this store: All their staff are super super nice and super super knowledgable, window and floor display is always clean and very well organized, very reasonable service fee (ie. 60/40 split where seller gets 60% of the sold price is unheard of in Toronto) I highly recommend this store to anyone who wants good quality fashion pieces at discounted prices. read more

My least favorite consignment store in downtown. I recently went in looking for a specifc item and was disappointed. Not only did the store need to be swept the chinese lady gave me a headache. The fakest environment I have ever been in. The music made me want to fall asleep and they talked down to me as if I didn't have enough money to buy anything in their store. They do have a semi nice selection of stuff but I was unclear on how th e authentication process was conducted. I wouldn't go there again instead of I would go to Fashionably Yours. Came in with my husband one day just to browse and see if I would find anything that I'd like. After some purse and shoe searching, I found a gorgeous pair of YSL heels. They were unfortunately half a size too big, but if they did fit, I would have purchased them right then and there. One of the employees that was standing by asked how everything is going , so I then told her that they're too big. She then said "Well maybe it's a good thing so you don't have to spend all your money'. Her tone came off as if we don't have the funds to shop in their store. After that, we just walked right out. This place has high end consignment, but is far from affordable. It will come as a total shock as a consignment store- the prices do not match to what is actually used clothing. You can find similar items that can be cheaper or similar priced on sale at the store it originated from. Very confusing as to why the prices are so high. It's great if you are a seller since they give out 60%, but then does not make sense on the buying end. In the states you can find the same stuff at a consignment store at half the price. I purchased a Balenciaga designer bag from this store recently and turns out it is a fake! This was very disappointing to me as I paid quite a bit for it. The lady working told me it had been examined by a third-party authenticator but would not tell me who. I coud not get my money back. Pretty fishy business, would not recommend . read more

I've visited on the store on a few occasions and it always seems very hectic in store while the staff seem very aloof. My most recent visit the staff seemed generally unknowledgeable about products I was asking questions about and didn't really have many answers for me. The owner spoke in a very patronizing voice and tried to make it seem like i should feel grateful just for the ability to shop in her store. The staff also seemed very uncaring about actually assisting me but when expressing interest in a bag I felt they pushed it on me and when I didn't automatically buy it they went back to focusing on other things. The actual layout was nice although it felt very cramped. The items were hit and miss for me, the clothing had some very questionable brands (several I had never heard of or some brands you would find at the eaton center, zara etc.) and the shoes were quite beat up. The selection of bags was quite nice although some had obviously been sitting there for awhile making me question the turnover time. All in all my last visit will probably be my last visit between the staff and the product the store just doesn't feel like is up to par read more

Very unprofessional. I am currently selling my bag with this company and feel trapped. They just put the bag on insta and wait for it to sell. You can do that for free yourself. And they constantly make you feel bad about the " little money" they are making from your bag. When I first came in, they trash talked my bag, saying it wouldn't sell and wasn't in style. I urged them to go through the process. Yes I urged them to take business. They then gave me the recommended price at 2900 which during the initial meeting they said was " impossible". Its been there for 2 months and nothing. I then lowered the price and still nothing. When I mentioned maybe they don't have serious clientele, they snapped at me that they want to sell it quickly since they are making " such little commission ( direct quote). To top it all off, they pushed a buyer interested in my bag to buy a similar one because it was more expensive.But I thought they were out of style? Interesting. They just don't know how to actually sell items ( speaking from an actual sales person that gets deals done). I am beyond disappointed and actually fearful to go pick up my bag. read more
