Never again never ever ever again... From oozing unattended owie( with no notification) to 2 of 4 dogs with bladdar issues due to infrequent potty breaks.. Even if the owie was an accident, the fact that it went long enough to fill his ear canal with dried blood and puss?????? And no one even noticed or said anything... He was there five days and no one noticed this amount of new to old blood and infection in five days???? The other three didn't have any boo boos but were certainly acting timid and shaking... 2 are 13... 1 is 9... 1 is 1 1/2 years old. All poodles ( two standards, two toys) and never in their life have they ever smelled like they did when I picked them up from this facility.. Never again... read more

I took my dog there after hearing good things. When I picked her up she had trouble walking. I wrote it off to her being sore until I started brushing her that night and found that all the pads on all 4 paws were raw and bleeding. Took her to the vet the next day and they said that it "is not an injury consistent with what should happen at daycare." When I went in to ask for a refund (I had bought a package when I picked her up) the manager told me, "I can't believe the vet would even see her. It's a blister." My frustrations: 1. They knew and didn't tell me 2. The manager told me I was overreacting for taking my dog to the vet 3. The vet had to sedate my dog because she was in so much pain. Compassion, understanding, and remorse go a long way. Don't expect that from this place. They'll call you an overprotective parent and ridicule your choice to see the vet. read more

I've been looking for a groomer in town that is clean, friendly, gives good cuts to our Wired Hair Fox Terrier. Most groomers in this town you have to wait a week or two to even get in. So I finally found Haute Dog Pet Resort. Not even thinking that they had a professional groomer on hand. I called them, they fit me in the very next day. Clipped Terrance as requested and had him all done and ready to go in an hour and a half. Walking into Haute Dog, I was blown away by how nice it smelled. It is seriously the cleanest, freshest smelling, friendly pet resort I've been in. And I'm coming from Portland where they take Dog Resorts very seriously. My dog and I both love it! The first time I took her they were really honest about the fact that she was well behaved, but didn't really have a good time. I realized it was because I'd just gotten her from the human society, and she probably thought I'd given her back. The next week she had a great time and now she's thrilled as soon an she figures out where the car is headed! When I pick her up she's always exhausted (she plays hard) and happy. Our two fur babies (12 & 13) love going to Haute Dog! The staff is always very friendly and are able to accommodate us on very short notice. We used to have to drag our pups to the groomer but now they get excited as soon as we pull in the lot. We have used Haute Dog for grooming, boarding and occasional doggy daycare. We have never been disappointed in the care they receive. Only wish we could afford to take them more often! read more

My dog has been to several doggie daycares and this was by far the nicest, cleanest and friendliest one we have ever visited. After deciding to take an improptu visit to Walla Walla, we quickly realized that we need to figureo ut what to do with our dog. Take him for the road trip, of course! We stayed at the Fat Duck Inn (pet-friendly), and on their website they recommended Haute Dog. After showing up early in the morning with the appropriate vaccination paperwork, the check-in was quick and easy. We even got a tour and explanation of what our dog would experience. That was a relief! Our pup had a blast playing all day with other dogs (several dozen). It was nice to have an enclosed safe area, supervised by competent staff. Also, did I mention it was pretty cool temperature-wise in the building? When it is 95 degrees out, the last thing you want is a animal with heat stroke. I would highly recommend this for out of towners who need a place for their dogs and cats to stay while they visit this fun city (and maybe do some wine tasting). read more

Most groomers in town don't have set appointment times, Haute Dog did, so I made an appointment, which was so open that they could get me in whenever I wanted. I showed up to my appointment and it turns out that the groomer wasn't in and the office "tried" to leave me a message. Turns out they had the wrong number, which they didn't bother to correct when I told them the right one. To make it more excusable (I guess) the office girl told me that both the numbers she tried to call today had voicemails that didn't match the client's name, not encouragong. I will not be back for their grooming service and would never consider leaving my dog at a place that is so poorly ran. read more

We've been bringing our two dogs here for years, now. The dogs love it: they get excited to go and are worn out from playing when we pick them up. The staff are lovely and know their regulars really well. They're able to cater to each dog's needs and the dogs love them. read more

Our dog loves Haute Dog pet resort. We love it because he's tired when we pick him up. (a boxer!). There is a downside: the phone is rarely answered, and voicemails are not returned quickly. There is a "nap time" for two hours mid-day, which makes it inconvenient for pick-up or drop-off. And, there are add-on charges above and beyond boarding. So, costs add up quickly. If you're all about taking care of your pooch, though - it's a GREAT place! read more

The groomer does a good job with my dog but these people don't answer their phone and when I complained to the owner, she didn't think it was important that they do. She gave a short window of time that they do answer the phone but even when I call during that window, there in no one there and when I leave a message, my call is not returned. I'm going to do business somewhere more dependable. read more

This is the greatest doggy day care business we have ever used; and we have used many! The dogs cannot WAIT to go inside and hang out for the day; and most importantly, they are EXHAUSTED when they come out in the afternoon. We have also used them for boarding without any problems. The best part is they are open on weekends, and without all of the restrictions you would encounter in Seattle area. They are flexible, they are great people and we are so lucky to have found them! read more

We have a very old (13) and a very young (3) pair of springers. They are both a challenge in their own way!! They both looked beautiful (and smelled even better) after their haircuts and baths at Haute Dog. They were very thoughtful of my older dog who tires very easily and has very sensitive skin. My younger dog is still very antsy at the groomer and kind of a handful. Their cuts were perfect for the breed and done in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend Haute Dog!! read more

This place is amazing! The kennels, day care rooms and grooming facility are spotlessly clean and the staff is friendly and upbeat. The groomers do a fantastic job and it's obvious that everyone there loves dogs. The rates are very reasonable and I'm always confident that my two "boys" are well cared for. This was an okay experience but overall we were not impressed. Staff was moderately friendly and did a poor job of explaining their grooming services. I asked to see the facility and did receive a brief tour but again, not very impressed. The actual grooming was fine but I doubt we will be back, just not a warm & fuzzy kind of place. read more
