Their isn't a bad stylist in the bunch at Haute! When I walk through the doors, I feel like I'm in a big city- not mid-Missouri! I feel so pampered when I come in here! Head massages, foot soaks with essential oils, warm towels wrapped around your neck, hot stones infused with essential oil while you're being shampooed on a soft, heated BED!! Up front where the stylists chairs are is lively and fun, with great, upbeat music, and the back room is dimmed with peaceful, serene music surrounding you while you relax on the comfy leather couch with a warm towel wrapped around your neck sipping a beverage of your choice (they have THE BEST teas!). This place is my vacation away from the stress and hustle of life, and I always come out of there feeling relaxed and beautiful! I had an appointment With Blake on Wednesday for an updo. All I can say is... wow! I sent him a picture of what I was thinking of, and I ended up with a very close version, even with a different hair type and much shorter hair. Not only that but it held up from the a.m. when I saw him to midnight,and looked just as good at the end of the evening. The style was elegant and very comfortable. Erika gave me my haircut. While the lay down hair washing station is nice. I asked for bangs, a trim little and a little bit of thinning. My bangs are not square, and so very thick. I left the salon with essentially a 70's long boy cut. I had to go back into the salon to get it fixed. I am still not satisfied with my results. I will not be back at least not with Erika. Kylee (I believe is her name) helped me to get my hair verbiage correct so I could better explain what I wanted fixed with my bangs. She was helpful. read more

Absolutely wonderful salon!!! Got the royal treatment from head to toes. They welcome you with a cup of Chai tea and while you wait for the color to set in they soak your feet in warm water with rocks. Wow!!!! Absolutely unexpected. read more

I have been a client for the past 7 months and have loved going to Haute and my stylist. We are not from this area so it was hard finding a stylist, and I had a very bad experience with a local salon and had to go back to Springfield and have my stylist cut most of my hair off and thought I was going to start the 3 hour drive every month again until I happen to walk into Haute by chance just to buy a product. I told the stylist my horror story and she gave me her card and asked if I would give her a try. I was hesitant, but I did and my hair color came out beautiful and the product I bought helped manage it during the awkward phase of growing my hair out. After my daughter got engaged my stylist got together with the co-owner Brandon about doing hair and make-up for the wedding party and I booked them. Clearly I have created a bond with my stylist and like her very much and have shown her the dresses for the wedding, my dress, I love how she colors my hair and styles it every month or I wouldn't keep coming back. Now my middle daughter has become a client as well. Last week I had an appointment to get my roots done as I do every month, I book out every 2 months. When I got home later that evening I saw as my husband did my roots were very light and when I got even closer to the mirror I saw at the crown my roots were still grey. I texted my stylist exactly what I saw, and she gave me a time for the next day to come in and she would correct it. Mind you this is a two hour process and I do work, so now I have to rearrange my schedule for the next day as well for the correction, plus we were leaving town the next day at 6am which she knew. She did the correction and apologized, said she left out something from the formula since they just switched product lines the previous month and she didn't write down what she mixed from the prior month. Now my very bad and sad story of Haute Salon. I got home that evening to pack and again my husband asked "what color did you put in your hair!" my root were 2 inches of harsh dark brown, then another couple inches of a copper/reddish, then down to the ends were a light brown to almost blond. I am a brunette, have always been colored a brunette, I had stripes in my hair and we were leaving at 6am for a 6 hour drive to Arkansas. I texted my stylist on the drive down with pictures and asked what I could put on my hair to make it not look so drastic with the dark roots and harsh lines. She called me back and our phone is blue tooth through the car so my husband could hear the conversation, she was defensive, rude, the pictures really don't show much because of lighting in the car. My husband was stunned as was I to her tone, she said she had several clients and she would have to get back to me later, so I said I would have to text her the number where we were staying because there would be no cell service. To our surprise she did call back on the land line I gave her, she said she showed the picture to her boss Brandon and her co worker and she just didn't know what my problem was. At that point my husband said get off the phone, she didn't want to help or apologize, I was in tears, I told her thank you for calling me back and to have a good weekend. I did not engage in a confrontation with her at all. Haute is closed on Mondays, so I left a message to speak with Brandon and he did call me back on Tuesday but he was prepared for my call. I am still reeling from a so called "Professional" even the production manufacturer manager of his product line is embarrassed her product is in his salon. He did tell me he looked at the pictures and my hair was beautiful, all three colors, Kylee corrected the mistake free of charge. I scheduled a root color when I should have scheduled an all over color. I believe that is my stylist job to let me know when I need to schedule that, at least my stylist in Springfield did. Brandon told me I also chose a stylist that has only a year and half experience and I should have chosen a more experienced colorist. Again, how am I to know that walking into his salon, and looking at his website he doesn't post years of experience next to each stylist. He also said they are still working the "kinks" out of this new product line, so if you don't know the product line you are putting in clients hair, maybe you need to get some more training so these "mistakes" that are "beautiful" don't happen. I will never step foot in Haute again, I am a brunette again thanks to Jamie at Bella Capelli. They will also be doing my daughters wedding and all future business going forward. I have an event coming up this weekend, and I wanted to get a great haircut. Since I had been to Haute Salon previously, most notably before my son's wedding, I decided to spend the extra money. I called 2 weeks in advance and was given an appointment with a stylist who I had never used. My appointment was at 5:30 on Wednesday evening. I arrived and was handed over to my stylist, without him introducing himself. I thought he seemed to be younger than what I was expecting. After he began cutting my hair, he said, "this is my first day." There were other clients and stylists in the salon, and I had no intention of embarrassing this man in front of the others. I decided to give him a chance and let him finish. I made the decision to call the owner the next day to find out why I was not notified of the change in stylists. This morning when I was styling my own hair, I realized the cut was not at all what I wanted. It hardly appeared I had a cut at all. I called the owner this afternoon to find out why I was not notified of a change and given the option to cancel my appointment(which I would have done). Brandon immediately questioned if I truly had been told my appointment was with Scott. He then told me he personally called everyone to tell them about the change. I said I did not have a phone call from him. He repeated he had called everyone. I told him he may have called someone else, as I do not have a local area code. He then told me if I was unhappy I should have brought it up last night. I repeated I had no desire to embarrass the stylist. He continued to tell me it was my responsibility to let the salon know at the appointment. He took no responsibility, never said he was sorry, not even admitting maybe he had called the wrong number. I am out $45.00 for a haircut I could have gotten at Supercuts for $15.00. I would not have written this review if the owner had taken any responsibility or had any sense of being sorry. I just had my hair done at this salon and I can't say enough good things about this place. I work in downtown Jefferson City and have walked by several times, but have always had someone else doing my hair so never had a reason to go in. Today I was in the market for a new salon, and I've definitely found it. First, this place is cool. The decor is top shelf. There's a waiting area, the salon area, and even a lounge area for waiting for your color to process. Oh, and complimentary wine! I love that. There were also so many freebies I can't even remember them all. Head and neck massage, foot soak, etc. It was truly wonderful. Most importantly, I think I just received the best color job I've ever had. My stylist was Jeremy. We just did the roots, I've never been a customer of this place before, and the color matched perfectly. It was amazing. I recommend Haute Salon to everyone. All the hype is about how you get to recline while they wash your hair, they give you a massage, offer you a drink (latte or champagne). I was expecting a high end experience, with great atmosphere. Was not offered a shampoo. The stylist while "cool," used a dull razor, which pulled on my hair and hurt. Hair turned out flat. Tried to sell me product at the end of the cut. For what I paid, I was pretty disappointed with the experience. I was expecting to feel relaxed, renewed afterwards but was not. read more

i drive 40 minutes one way to get to haute salon. when i arrive brandon is there to greet me. there is always somthing new and exciting going on. whether it be a new raffle or a new product line. every time i go to haute salon i am wow'd everytime. my hair is amazing everytime, but more importantly, i feel amazing. thank you haute salon. if you werent around i'd be forced to go somewere else. read more
