Looking for a good cigar - run here!! Mine was sweet and tasty! Drinks were mixed perfectly!! I had 3- Long Island iced teas. Comfortable chairs however, get could use a facelift. Excellent service !! There was only one bartender and he handled the entire business. At one time there were about 19-20 people there. Bathrooms were clean!! 2 stalls per gender. Huge collection of cigars to choose from. Tip: This is a hockey bar so if hockey is playing then it's on tv. Period?? So no NFL draft but it was all good. Bar Rules!

I met some buddies in Durham for some beers and to verbally abuse each other like friends do. Afterwards, some of us wanted to sit around and enjoy a cigar but all of us lived too far away. We decided to come here as the trip to Glenwood was only about 15 minutes. We parked for only $3 on a Saturday night right at the facility which is amazing. Kudos for that! The first thing you notice walking in is the smoke. Not that we were expecting a smoke-free cigar lounge, but the air-cleaning system leaves a lot to be desired. Two of us arrived before the rest, so I grabbed a couch and my friend got us some smokes and drinks. He got two Four Roses Single Barrel double bourbons with 2 Rocky Patels for $30. Seriously? What a deal! We were there for about an hour, refilling our drinks once before we left. Even with the bad air filtration, we will be going back.

Favorite cigar bar in downtown Raleigh. Very chill cool bartenders who can make a mean drink. A small but good cigar selection as well

We love a good cigar bar and we were so excited that Raleigh has one. Let alone, right next to our favorite dive bar! They have a great selection and the bartenders know their liquor. I asked for a fruity cocktail and the bartender made me one that was unlike any other cocktail I've tried. We will have to add this place to on of our stops when we're in Raleigh.

It's a bourbon/cigar bar. We personally do not smoke cigars but visited to check out the bourbons and really enjoyed our experience. We had a few pours of both bourbon and beer. They have a fantastic selection so check this spot out.

Nice ambiance. Nixe drinks. Not much of a variety of cigars. No food served vice decor.

Cigar selection is limited. Drinks are basic( they put a straw in my Old Fashion) BUT you can bring your OWN sticks, whiskey selection is extensive and you can smoke in doors .

Remember the days when cigars and cigar bars were all the rage? Well Havana Deluxe is one of the few spots in Raleigh (Amras is the other choice) where you can still light up your stogie, down a scotch and have a chill conversation without screaming over to your table-mate! It's tucked away off of Glenwood so Havana Deluxe attracts a slightly different crowd which is a good thing. On Saturday night, the place was half-full with a 25 - 40 crowd enjoying cigars and some cocktails. There are a handful of TV's to keep you up with the latest scores but otherwise it was a relaxed, cigar bar scene. Best part of Havana Deluxe were the bartenders. They poured their drinks well and were friendly, a nice plus! So what can I say but it's a nice little spot to start or end your evening. Just be prepared for a bit of cigar smoke! And while I have definitely smoked some cigars at times, it's not always an easy thing to inhale somebody ELSE's cigar smoke!

Had the chance to finally stop in and have a smoke. I l love how hidden and tucked away it is, away from all the action on Glenwood. The set up feels like a classic dive bar but with really good stocks and nice couches that make everywhere feel like a living room. The ventilation is awesome and I look forward to going back.

Cool laidback atmosphere. Bartenders were talkative and made a newcomer to Raleigh feel right at home.

With little signage the space feels like a natural speakeasy. It's unpolished enough to feel a little sleazy, yet polished enough to never feel dirty. Whether you're a serious whiskey enthusiast or just looking for a well-made cocktail, you're in good hands. Being open later than most Raleigh bars makes Foundation one of the city's go-to late-night options, but that shouldn't overshadow what it really is........a great bar at any hour. The atmosphere, the drinks, and the people behind the bar make this a place worth seeking out whether it's your first stop of the evening or your last.

I had their basil smash, which was refreshing, and the Manhattan--bold with a warm, spicy profile. Pleasant surprise to see Michter's as the special of the night, and it was excellent with smooth caramel and vanilla notes. Service started off a little hands-off since we ordered at the bar, but picked up toward the end when staff came by to check in. Drinks were high quality without being overpriced, and the vibe is relaxed--not at all pretentious. You can definitely come casual. If we had more time, we would've stayed longer or come back for another round.

From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Started with the biscuits topped with crackling and house-made preserves, and honestly, that combo alone made me question why I don't eat more biscuits in life. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived.
