Grabbed a drink here recently and had a good experience. First, there are some parking spots directly next to Vita Vite and the neighboring businesses, but they were completely full when we came. I assume it's really hard to grab one of those, but luckily there's also a free parking garage nearby, so that's where we ended up parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, there is a combination of standard table seating and a few couches here and there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife grabbed a glass of wine while I ordered a beer, and everything was pretty reasonably priced. As expected, the wine selection was much more extensive than the beer selection :) The staff were polite and attentive throughout. This is definitely my favorite wine bar in Raleigh! I usually go to the Midtown location and it never disappoints. I arrived here around 5:55pm on a Saturday evening to meet some friends. I was in a group of 4. This was my first time visiting this place and was suggested by one of the friends I visited with. The concept is pairing art and wine. They have a bar downstairs and upstairs. During this visit, the upstairs bar was closed. We ordered at the downstairs bar. They let you taste the wines/ciders, which turned out to be a blessing. They had a blueberry cheesecake cider that sounded delicious... but it is was not I ended up getting the blood orange cider and it was great! My friend got the hummus and crackers, which we enjoyed. No complaints. I noticed it being busy. My friend stated that have been here before and it's not normally as busy as it was. Regarding the wine and art pairing, I found it difficult to view/enjoy the art because the art was positioned behind tables. It would very extremely awkward for me to go up to a table and stand there to observe the art behind them. I think the concept would be better if the artwork didn't have sitting tables next to them. I'll note that not all of the artwork was blocked. We sat upstairs which was hosted string lights from the ceiling, providing a low light ambience. This location is near he Chuy's in Midtown across from North Hills. A group of about 17 of us came for an ornament exchange party on a Monday night. The organizers of the night brought some desserts to share. When you arrive you have to go to the bar to order drinks and small bites. If you order any food you will receive a number to take with you so the staff can find you when your food is ready. Once you order you can sit wherever you'd like. We grabbed a large table by the window for our group. There's couches, tall tables, shorter tables, and of course bar-seating. There's also board games for people to grab to play if they want as well. The selection of drinks was great and reasonably priced for the quality. They had a holiday special, apple cider mimosas, for $8 when I went so I ordered that first. It's a mix of 2 of my favorite things...champagne and apple cider! It was delicious! Then I order another glass of just champagne. I am very much looking forward to coming back! I enjoyed myself, but I look forward to coming with a smaller group as well. Vita Vite, you are just right! So amazing! I decided to meet a friend here that I met on Bumble Bff! We both had established that we loved Red wine and we both thought it would be cool to meet at Vita Vite because we had never been there. I am so happy that we did. The place is open, public and a great place to have a convo. When I first arrived the first thing that I noticed was the parking! The bar is situated inside of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. There are 2 free parking garages with plenty of spaces and a parking lot! I parked in the deck because the lot was full. When I first arrived there was hardly anyone there. There is a huge sign that says please seat yourself it's also first come first serve so there are no reservations. Because I waiting on my friend to arrive I walked around for a bit there was an upstairs that was amazing but when she arrived we ended up sitting downstairs. We checked out the menu an average class of wine cost about 12 to 15 dollars depending on what you get and we also got a charcuterie tray with 2 cheeses, bread, salami and crackers that was about $12. We ended up splitting the bill down the middle and paid $20 each. They also let you sample the wines! The bathroom was very nice and clean. There was beautiful decor throughout the place and the atmosphere was amazing! The decor was absolutely beautiful. Overall this is a great place for working, a meet up or a date. I appreciate the variety of seating.. long bar height tables seating 10+, private seating for two, group seating that encourages conversation. I was here for 3+ hours waiting for a teenager to finish up at a party. It was nice having a view of the setting over time. Bartenders were knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. Wine and beer selections were ample and varied enough to meet most guests. The "bites" are limited but reasonably priced for what you get. I sampled 3 cheeses and 3 meats on the charcuterie board. One of my friends organized a Happy Hour for friends at the new Vita Vite Midtown. It's in North Hills, so the location is good, and there was plenty of parking. There are a variety of table options depending on the size of your group or there is bar seating. It's a very clean place, and I liked the decor. I was not incredibly impressed by the drink options (probably because I was limited since I don't drink beer). This place seemed to attract a lot of women, which wasn't really what I was hoping for. I love to people watch, and the interactions were limited. I did enjoy watching everyone outside learning to use Bird scooters. I will probably give it another shot before counting it out from my list. There was nothing wrong with the place, I just didn't enjoy it as much as other bars. read more

Came here to enjoy a glass of Malbec before attempting to go bowling in the neighborhood. First off, love the location!! And as soon as you walk in the ambiance is so warm and inviting. I love the downtown location so was extremely excited to come visit this location. This one is much larger and has lots of comfy seat options. I love that they have outside seating upstairs and down stairs. They have about 6 craft beers on tap that is sure to meet and beer drinkers needs. With all 6 taps they offer great variety of rotating beers. The wine list is pretty similar to the downtown location with several wine offerings by the glass. I found this place to be a nice departure from the norm. They have a great selection of wines and all are reasonably priced. In addition, a very nice array of beers. They do have a small selection of charcuterie choices and all items are well priced and designed to clearly compliment wine or beer. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was what made this a 5 star experience for me. It is a very California feel with a bit of Restoration Hardware Weho vibe. The only negative, if you will. I did not like the "bar" type style of requesting and holding one's credit card. IMHO a place this nice should not have that practice. It's upscale and I'd wager, attracts a different crowd than one would experience at the typical bar. As well, not everyone likes to hand out credit cards and yes some even pay cash.
