You'll probably get only enough toilet paper for two, so no group meetings. The two towels were small, more like hand towels so don't make a mess of yourselves. Staff already knows you're not here to shower. I wouldn't spend the night though. This place is a bit run-down. Of course, they removed the chain locks. But the bathroom door and door frame, I don't know what happened there. Scribbling (with a writing instrument, THANK GOD) on the door and... ceiling?! As you can tell, I had plenty of time to take pics while SOMEONE ELSE I KNOW was like zzzzzzzzz. Listen, I've only visited with only one other person. The same person. I swear. NO I didn't charge him either! Do what you came to do and GTFO.

I told him I was the person that just called, he says "yea yea yea I know what do you want now", your name I said. He uttered "Ja Ja jee". This time he did t hung up, so quickly but when I asked how do you spell it, he said " you spell it. And hung it I find this very disturbing and troubling that theres someone like him working at the front desk, THE FIRST FACE of a company you interact with and this is his behavior. I also requested a handicapped accessible room, as my BIL was staying with me, and he is mostly wheelchair bound. After check-in, I learned the the handicap rooms are on the 8th floor. So, the reasons for the low rating: (1) the handicap rooms are the furthest from the elevator, literally from one end of the hall to the other; well over 100 feet. (2) sign by elevator that says, "In case of fire, use stairs." This is kind of ridiculous, to expect a wheelchair bound person, to descend 8 floors. Which leads to the question, "Why put handicap rooms on the top most floor?" (3) Our room was very LOUD. Literally, when the HVAC unit came on, it sounded like a jet engine starting. On for 5 minutes or so, then off for 2 minutes. Rinse and repeat all night long (4) In a shower / tub area, the height of the tub was not conducive to a disabled person being able to use it. On a positive side, the bathroom was spacious, with 3 grab bars near the toilet. Note the 4 grab bars in the shower / tub area are useless if you can't get in. Another positive was the continental breakfast. Numerous options for both cold and hot items. 2 poorly designed stars. If you can't put handicap rooms on the ground floor, near an exit, you should not sell rooms as handicap.

I had lost my purse, which had my house keys and credit card in it, so all I had with me was my phone. I asked the hotel if I could pay with Apple Pay since I didn't have my card, and I just needed a safe place to stay until morning. The receptionist told me they only accept cash or card. I then asked if I could book through Booking.com and pay online, would they let me check in. The receptionist said yes. So I made a reservation and paid upfront through Booking.com. But when I showed him the confirmation, he suddenly told me I couldn't check in until 2 p.m. He hadn't said that earlier. Even though I had already paid, he then told me I had to wait *outside* the hotel. It was 5 a.m., I was alone, a woman in a vulnerable situation, and I had gone out of my way just to find a safe place. I was shocked. When I asked for a refund, the hotel refused. I had spent the last bit of money I had, thinking I'd at least have somewhere safe to stay. Being turned away like that--with proof of payment--was heartbreaking. The receptionist should have told me from the start that I wouldn't be allowed to check in until 2 p.m. Asking someone who's already in distress to wait outside in the early hours of the morning, despite having same day reservation, is completely unacceptable. And refusing to give me a refund made everything worse. This whole experience was deeply disappointing and honestly, shameful.

Our breakfast one morning was breakfast sandwiches thoughtfully packed to go for the West Point football game and the next morning we joined others in the antique dining room and filled up on homemade muffins, fresh fruit bowls and omelettes. So scrumptious! The B&B is quaint and beautifully landscaped all around, plus the vineyard. The views of the Hudson River from the stone-terraced back patio is just breathtaking! A perfect place to relax and read a book or have a conversation with other friendly visitors. The best part of our stay, however, was the warmth, kindness and true genuine hospitality of Lynn and Bill, the B&B hosts, chefs and all around wonderful people!! Looking forward to our next visit!

Our room was quiet and so comfortable and also spotlessly clean. The location was perfect a short walk to Arthur Avenue or the Bronx zoo. There was also a bus stop basically right in front of the hotel. breakfast was included and also exceeded our expectations. This was a wonderful place for us to end our to New York City this June. If we ever find ourselves in the Bronx again, we would absolutely stay at this location again My only critique is that at breakfast the hot food was not replaced very quickly, and I wish that the breakfast was available for a larger spread of time.
