It's not big nor fancy, but the staff are friendly, the bathroom and rooms are clean, and they have a 24/7 coffee machine. The location is also ideal for restaurants and subway. The bathroom is tiny, but it's NYC so we expected it. They have free WiFi and bag holds. He got in early morning and they held our bag while we went out since we couldn't check in. They also held our bag after we checked out until we were ready to leave for the airport.

And the main door to the room lets in all of the light from the hallway at night. It's not a good fit to the frame. Neither of these are deal breakers. We would definitely stay again.

The carpet was 60's style, very old and duty. The blinds are old fashion blinds. I have not seen those for ages. TV is about 36", maybe 42", as small as my computer monitor at home.
