There is a one star review posted that claims…read morethat Alex (owner of Arise) cuts the neighbor's grass up to her driveway and leaves the clippings for her to sweep. I am that neighbor. The lady that lived in that house before was a single mom. My property line goes almost to the driveway. I asked the previous owner if we could just take care of everything up to the driveway for her, and she was grateful. My property line is about 1.5 feet from her driveway, so it just made since. Alex always cleans up after himself. He does not leave a mess for anyone to clean up. He is very thorough and professional. Alex is more than a grass cutter. Other companies that were supposed to be knowledgeable messed up my yard. Chemicals were applied to my yard before it had matured enough to handle the treatments and it did considerable damage. I had a dying yard with serious drainage issues. Then came Alex. He saved my yard. He sent soil samples to Auburn University for analysis for proper treatment. He installed a better drainage to divert water to stop water from getting into my basement and washing away my yard. He is absolutely who you want to lay sod. He understands the prep involved for the sod to thrive. He has done extra work, above what he has billed. We would be in a mess by now if not for Arise Landscape. He saved my yard. He knows what to do and when to do it. He is a professional, and no one else touches my yard.

I had been a customer since October of 2018 and have always paid my full bills. During the time…read morecovid hit in 2020, I was told by them that they wouldn't let their techs come in people's residences for safety concerns. I was told by the employee that called to schedule my appointment for a tech to come out to my home that I could reschedule those inside visits at a later date. I agreed for safety reasons. I was still charged the full $65 fee per visit even though they were only spraying outside. My contract that I signed with them says I am to pay $65 for inside, outside and underneath my dwelling. So on 3/21/21 the tech just showed up at my home unannounced and wanted to spray and I was busy at the time and had company at my home so I said "can you spray outside and I will reschedule the inside spray?" He said "ok". Then when I called to reschedule my inside spray, I man picked up the phone and rudely said "we don't do that, we have never done that!" I said "but your tech came by unannounced!" He put me on hold and a woman came on the line and said that it wasn't fair for them to send someone back to my house if they can't do it for everyone. I just told them to cancel my contract. They lied to me. I have paid my bills for 2.5 years and you can't do a loyal customer any better than that?!? On top of me paying full price when I only got outside sprays for at least 2-3 visits! If your money is hard earned like mine is, don't give it to these people, in my opinion they won't appreciate you!
