Tall Paul is a Burqueño who got started on his career when he was six years old. Over the years he tried his material on schoolmates, which is likely how he learned to handle hecklers, and now he takes his show around the state and often around the country. I've hired a few magicians, Paul is affordable. His material really nails the kiddo set: armed with an assortment of puppets and gizmos, generally pitching a fun take on classic sleight of hand and playing card tricks, Paul mainly aims to make you laugh. In fact, I'd say that's his true schtick. He isn't very interested in wowing you, and he plays the "Gee, this trick isn't working right" card often, even as a ventriloquist. He also does a fantastic job making the birthday boy or girl feel exceptionally special. So here's the problem with the schtick, as far as the heckler was concerned: she didn't believe in magic, and she wanted everyone to know how clever she considered herself. During the entire 45 minute show, this child -- who could not claim drunken belligerence -- outright yelled at Paul. Rude, mean, hurtful things. Her parents weren't around to discipline her, of course. But anyway, Paul handled the ordeal beautifully, he never lost his patience or broke character, and he drew solid applause. I'd hire him again and recommend his show to anyone looking for an entertainer who brings much more to the table than smoke and mirrors.

A very talented accordion player and song writer showed up in her Elvis wig to perform the Elvis song that I requested. She switched up the lyrics to the personalize it to the guy that we were pranking. The videographer captured every moment. From the initial inquiry, to discussing the logistics and the execution it went off without a hitch! I highly recommend Rumble. I can't wait to hire them again to put on another show. I recently called Rumble to create a special birthday singing telegram for a Crossfit coach. It was extremely last minute but they jumped through hoops to make it happen. He was surprised, embarrassed.... And absolutely blown away by the gesture! I challenge him to ever forget that time he received birthday cupcakes at the box by singing telegram! I hired Binky for my daughter's 5th birthday party. I was actually pretty nervous about it since…read moremy interaction with Binky had been a bit unprofessional in the weeks leading up to the party. I initially sent her a message through her website and after a week of her not responding, I sent her an email through her email address. Still no response, so I called. She didn't give a great explanation for why she didn't write back, but I booked the party anyway. A few weeks later I sent her another email confirming the details, and again she didn't write back for days, so I called. She claimed she just got the email that morning (but didn't write back for some reason). We updated the party details on the phone, and the last time I wanted to change something, I just called again. Though she was responsive by phone, she never once emailed back. I would have appreciated some confirmation in writing. So I was nervous that she wouldn't even show up on the day of the party. But she did and she was wonderful! I had her do magic and balloon animals (no face painting) for 9 kids. All the magic tricks but one were a hit, the kids were engaged the whole time and she did a fabulous job of trying to call up as many different kids as she could to help with tricks, while giving special attention to the birthday girl. Her character was perfectly silly. The balloon animals/objects were also wonderful and each child got his/her own customized piece. She also left us with coloring pages and a small baggie of trinkets and a small piece of candy for each kid. The biggest disappointment was that she cut it short by 15 min! I paid full price for an hour of entertainment (no discount for having one less kid-9 instead of 10) and she didn't fill the time. I'm not sure if she just didn't budget her time well, or if there was another reason it was short, but that was definitely not cool. She could have done more magic or made each kid another balloon piece. If I do a clown again for another party, I'll probably hire someone else. Otherwise, I will definitely talk to her in advance about filling the time better.

All the years I've lived in this city and I've never once stepped foot in this place. Though I've…read morepassed and gandered and the place many times I guess I always missed the fun surprises inside. Long story short as I was scrolling through the feed on that blue app I saw an ad for a horror themed circus that promised extra fright. Curiously I pondered at the date and thought why the heck not. Then as I looked at the website I discovered it was being hosted right at the Kimo. The light bulb in my head clicked on and I thought let me see if a friend wants to join so I can make a better decision. Needless to say I waited to buy a ticket. Why you ask? Well Ill be honest I wasn't quite sure at the time. Then fast forward to last weekend and the same ad appeared with a beautiful promotion setting a price I just couldn't refuse. I just knew I had to go. My friend canceled on me but that was ok because when I stepped through those door it was a refreshing experience. I couldn't help but get lost in its great grandeur. As I entered the seating area I looked around and the vibe had me so excited. The show was phenomenal. I had a really great time. I'm so glad I went. Not only did I get to see the inside of this place for the first time but I got to experience a show here which made it so much more special. I look forward to returning for the next show here!
