She is SO patient. My newborn was wide awake before the shoot started and she took her time...(2 hours or more) helping me get the baby to sleep (mixture of me nursing and Michelle swaying/singing to baby). Eventually baby fell into deep sleep and we got excellent, I mean excellent pictures. For the moms out there, Michelle has everything you need. She even thought of things that I never ever ever thought she would have (for example: a boppy pillow for nursing, space heater to keep newborn warm, white noise on blast to help soothe infant !). She is so very thoughtful. Michelle is a down to earth professional and I wish we could have had this experience with our first baby. Or even for our wedding or maternity photos. We found her late, but better late than never! She did just move to the area from washington earlier this year. The price is affordable for all the detail and time she takes with her clients. She made the best of the fact that the courthouse made us keep her camera in the courtroom, so we had to be creative with photos in that one room. I am not one to EVER post reviews... so me, taking my time, out of my day to write a stupid review, says a lot! I got a free photoshoot from this girl through a mutual friend at the time. She did a newborn session with my, at the time, Newborn Son. I grew away from the "photographer's" friend who referred me to get my sons newborn picture's done for very petty stupid reasons, and the "owner" of Simple Still Photography, who I ONLY know from the photo session we did. Not only did the pictures turn out pretty bad, when I know she took many other photos that would have been better to choose from, she decided to take my sons session down off her site so I couldn't download my rainbow babies, NEWBORN photoshoot. AKA once in a lifetime photos of my son who I had after losing a child to SIDS at four months and never got to get newborn pictures of. If I would have just gone through a professional, REAL business, with actual ETHICS, and not some petty, drama centered young chick, I would still have those pictures that you are supposed to have for a lifetime. I was really just trying to help her out too by getting her clients. The one time I was around her with the mutual friend, she was also talking shit about the client who had been over that day paying or a photoshoot by her. She had just met that person too. If you can't grow up and leave your petty high school self behind, you have no business trying to run a business. Don't make the mistake I did and go to a real photographer- get yourself some actual good quality pictures from someone who won't go and talk shit about you behind your back the second you leave without even knowing you for themself.
