Most times I stopped by, Dave was out walking dogs and I could see how much my dogs liked him when I was there. They're large, male, no nonsense and very expressive, and they were genuinely happy and content there and I didn't have to worry about them. My only complaint would be that they really stunk on the ride home and we immediately took them for baths. This is a reasonably priced, lack of frills place, but I know when my guys are happy and well taken care of and that's what matters. We will be back!

I never have to worry about my dog. I know they are happy, well cared for and safe. They come home tired and calm after their stay. He takes them for 3 walks a day and my dogs love it! I now have two wild, big puppies and Dave handles them great. They LOVE Dave as much as we do. When I came to get my dogs after last weekend there, of course they were happy to see me, but they also made sure to say "good bye" to Dave. Dave gave me great advise on how to train my Hannah to not pull so much on a lead. She is strong! My Howie is not very people "friendly" especially with men-no such concerns with Dave. He is part of the family. It saddens me to read the terrible reviews some have left. Dave can be a quiet guy, but I know he loves dogs and that my dogs get the best care with him. I have been to spotless kennels-I will not name them-but they were harsh, inpatient with my dogs and did not give them water in the kennel. My dogs RAN desperately shaking to the car and drank a full big bowl of water when we got home. Never again. It may be going an hour out of my way, but Dave wins hands down! The rates are extremely reasonable, at $23/dog and $18 for the second dog sharing a same kennel. I added a 10 minute country stroll each day for my dogs, which was $1.50/walk. Each day, they'll clean any bedding you bring, which is a bonus. My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up, so that's really mostly what I'm basing my review on. I really had wished there was some sort of report card about how my dogs were. They're not exactly the most easy to take care of, so I usually like updates. It smelled of dog urine in the entryway, which I know is hard to get rid of, but I wish there were a better smell.

I let my dog, Toby, splurge on a shopping spree when we were last in the area, and he picked out his favorite toy of all time, what I have christened his "Scare Bear" ™ Toby, a black lab, great pyrenees, terrier, hound mix was seen all around Fall Fest this year, with Scare Bear in his mouth. He brought it home to Chicago with us, and he sleeps with it, goes on walks with it, and sits it next to him on the chair or the couch. Toby is almost six years old, and this is his first ever toy that he hasn't even attempted to destroy in some way. It's a true comfort item, and he picked it out himself! Toby does some volunteer search and rescue work, and loves to help people and animals in between roughhousing with Mommy and other dogs and running around like a crazy man. He used his Scare Bear to comfort an older gentleman who was having a hard time walking at Peninsula State Park, and he even offered the guy Scare Bear for comfort as he walked the man back to the parking lot. We came to Green Bay for the 2025 NFL Draft. We always travel with our two Rottweilers, Bozco and…read moreLeyna. We walked around Lambeau Field with the dogs the day before the Draft and realized that the NFL doesn't allow animals inside the Draft Experience. We needed to find a boarding facility on short notice. I found Sara's Yelp site and texted her our situation. She responded promptly and requested our dogs vaccination records. That was my first clue that she was a legitimate, responsible boarding facility. I texted her the records and she stated that she did have room for our dogs. We arrived and she brought the dogs right into the outdoor play area to let them get familiar with their surroundings. Sara is a top notch trainer. We have 25 years experience with Rottweilers and training with them and she knew exactly how to interact with our pups. We were impressed. We had a very nice discussion about our pups needs and quirks and she had zero issues with our dogs. Leyna loves everyone, so she greeted Sara with lots of kisses. Bozco is our old man and takes awhile to warm up to you. We left the dogs and a couple of hours later, I texted Sara to see how they were and she told me that Bozco loves Sara to pet him, so that's awesome. We are taking them back there this morning for us to attend Day 2 of the Draft festivities without any hesitation or second thoughts. Sara is fantastic with your animals and she definitely knows what she's doing. Just an FYI, her fees are very reasonable.

We have been fighting with our Previuos Vet (Banfield Hospital) to get the records. We have sent them the records and were told that they needed the written notes from the vet describing the dogs teprement. I have never seen notes nor do have any of the notes in my 4 inches of papper files. Now yesterday, my 6 YO Portuguese Water Dog injured her leg (broken ? ACL?) and was told that they wouldn't see her with out the records and recomeended that we find somewhere else. Obviously I am frustrated.
