She is a 115 lb labrador)- They called us ten minutes later, left a message to come get her. My husband called them back immediately and said "no problem, I am on my way" -- He was only one mile away....He was then told "we gave her a bath and cut her nails, I am drying her, give us another twenty minutes" - (We took her in for a full package deal, bathing, teeth, nails, anal glands, de-shedding, etc) .. When my husband arrived, he politely said "next time, if you cannot do what we brought her in for, just please dont do anything at all " (Now we have to take her somewhere else, and he would have just picked her up like he said he would.). The employees became unhinged, and retaliated with rude remarks telling him he should be grateful for what they did - they did us a favor by discounting the cost (ok?? lol to that) - and the gentlemen told him to take our dog and get out. (this went from 0 to 60 in a hot minute- for no reason). (and yes, my husband paid for the services they did) The issue was not the bathing, or paying for the bathing.. The issue is that they were the rudest , unprofessional people arguing with my husband. The two ladies and gentleman with the colored hair (we dont know their names) were so incredibly disrespectful, I would never send anyone to this location. There was attitude from the very beginning- for no reason. I will be calling corporate. We have never been spoken to like this. (this excludes Rosemary, who acted professionally and sat there quietly while her coworkers felt the need to shame my husband in front of other customers). We drove 45 minutes to this location and walked away upset and disappointed . Never again.

She is knowledgeable, kind, great listener, she has excellent people skills and is absolute joy to be around. I honestly think if she was there every time I went to the store I would have gone broke really fast because Her Sales skills are top notch. Thank you Lara for your amazing service, my family and I really enjoyed getting some beautiful, healthy and bright fish for our big aquarium!!!

My review is regarding a recent very upsetting, unprofessional experience that I had with this…read moreestablishment's soon to be new owner, Jeremy. I contacted this place because I had heard that they had birds there, with an avian vet that comes to visit routinely. I had been trying to re-home my elderly Mother's two budgie parakeets because where she moved to, she was not allowed to have them at her new residence. I did not want her birds to go to just anyone who might want to "try out" a couple parakeets, wanting to ensure that they would go to a safe, loving home, a home where the new owner would have prior and/or current experience with birds, so my search had gone on for some time now. To my initial delight, when I called and talked to Jeremy, he had stated that he, himself would love to take the birds and take them to his home to care from them as he has and enjoys birds. He said what seemed to be all the right things and I was so happy that the birds would go to a home where they would be well received and cared for, with a seemingly knowledgeable caretaker. The next step was lining up when to bring the birds to Jeremy. The initial call I made to him was before our winter blizzard, so I needed to wait until that passed, of course, and then wait a little longer for a warm, sunny day so the birds would not get chilled in transport. We finally had a sunny warm day, on a Saturday, in the forecast and agreed upon that day, mid afternoon, (he was aware) to meet up, for Jeremy to receive the budgies. Mid week I called and asked him if I should call when I was on my way over and he said that I would not need to do that as he planned to be there ALL day that Saturday. He mentioned that if he did step out, he would be right back. I pressed the calling ahead idea a little harder, explaining that I would be coming from an HOUR away and again, he agreed that he'd be there all day and there was no need to give a heads up before I took that long drive in. So, that sunny Saturday morning I woke up, cleaned both of the beautiful cages (that I was giving him free of charge, along with the birds) and loaded up the cages, the supplies and the birds into the vehicle and set out for the hour drive. Once I finally arrived there, appx 315 pm, a woman (I assume the current owner) asked how she could help me. I thanked her but said that I was meeting Jeremy to drop off my two budgies. She replied saying that she had not seen him all day and did not expect to as he was working at a physician's home, doing some work on his property! WHAT?!! I asked her to please call him and she complied. Jeremy, of course, did not answer. She said I could set the birds down and leave them. I was not about to do that. I knew then and there I would never be back. I didn't like the looks of the place, the smell and certainly not the NO SHOW after I drove an HOUR one way!! How so very unprofessional and inconsiderate of Jeremy. ... A few days later, I called to talk to him on the phone to express my disappointment and when he came to the phone and I told him who I was, he put the phone down on the counter and made me wait probably 8 minutes while I heard him talking to someone else! Once he got back on the phone I asked him why he did not show up as planned and I reiterated how he said that I did not need to call in advance to let him know I was on the way. He tried to say that he didn't know that he had to be there for me. Um, excuse me? We talked about this numerous times on prior phone calls, about meeting up. We never discussed a curb side drop off!! I would never do that. I reminded him that I drove an hour to get there and an hour home and put extra gas in my vehicle with today's gas prices. I did not use foul language or raise my voice at all (though it would have been warranted). He was very unsympathetic to all that I went through and blew me off completely. He even had the nerve to say, "at this point, I'm not gonna take the birds." Like I'd really give them to him now??!!! No way. He's not one to be trusted obviously or dependable. He actually ended up hanging up on me! Horrible. Just Horrible! I would not have even give this place one star, but I had to, in order for the review to post.

Jolene looks like a high maintenance diva (which she is) but she goes hard in the paint playing with her buddy next door so she was crusty and gray from playing. Any issues I had would probably be overlooked by 90% of people who go to tractor supply. I bathe my poodle at home almost once a week, we had some extra time so I wanted to check out the pet wash station. There was a variety of tools and shampoos, only one conditioner, I could tell by how her coat feels they're probably not as high end as the ones I use at home bc I could feel a difference in texture, but next time I'll just bring my own. The overall set up is nice, though I was disappointed in the grooming tools having hair on them and no sanitizer provided to disinfect prior/post use. The dryer was less than great, the $80 One I bought on Amazon dries her in 8 minutes (23lbs for reference) and it had to be over 45 minutes with theirs- the hose has a crack by the nozzle so I had to scrunch it to stop the air from escaping which wasn't exactly comfortable, but didn't hinder the process too much, nor do I think that it made it take longer. Maybe the texture difference is from the dryer and not the shampoo, either way we left with her hair 85% dry unfortunately. Overall it was worth $10. You pay prior at the register and they give you a towel Just wish there were better dryers with different nozzles for different coats, and a heat function, she was shivering bc it took so long and the towel provided wasn't absorbent. Signs explaining what's expected in terms of clean up after you're done and sanitizer are needed. I'd give cleanliness a 6/10 overall, it was only 10:30am too. Hope this helps, it's a great option if you're from out of town and want a quick diy bath.
