The room where we said a final good bye to Maia was specially decorated for such an occasion. The two precious, compassionate, kind and caring young ladies made Maia and us feel loved and understood. We cried a lot and they gave us plenty of last moments with Maia, frequently checking on us. Dr. Smith took her time to comfort us and was compassionate and caring. We cried and Dr. Smith cried with us. We were really touched and we will never forget how special they made us feel in one of the most vulnerable and devastating time in our lives. Today, we received a hand written card from CHAI written by multiple members, with beautiful personal messages about Maia. We cried again as we read their wishes for us. We are not sure when/ if we will get another puppy/dog, but we know who is going to take care of them, Dr. Smith and the staff at CHAI.

Harper had a 14‑pound tumor removed from her stomach, a surgery so complex that it required all three veterinarians, Dr. Mays, Dr. Lively and Dr. Bennet to complete it. Dr. Bennet actually came in on her day off to assist, simply because she cared that much about Harper. That alone speaks volumes. And thank heavens she did, because Dr. Bennet had to hold the 14-pound tumor for the duration of the surgery. The days following surgery were touch and go. On day two, Dr. Mays recommended a blood transfusion for Harper and that made all the difference. The attention to detail never wavered--Harper had staples from her neck to her "lady parts", placed so meticulously that they looked like a zipper. That level of precision, care, and love was truly incredible. Even after Harper came home, the care didn't stop. The veterinarians checked in on her every single day. Within days, Harper went from sleeping constantly and struggling to walk to acting like a puppy again. I have met many veterinarians over the years, but I have never experienced this level of compassion, dedication, and skill. I love these doctors and their entire staff, and I highly recommend them to any pet owner. They don't just treat animals--they truly care for our fur babies as if they were their own.

Established patients just can walk in and get a treatment on certain days/times without needing an appointment, but new folks have to go through a full exam with a chunk of paperwork before actually getting treated. I don't mind filling out a bunch of paperwork but paying $135 for the "exam" plus another $45 for treatment is crazy unless you can't walk or use your arms or hurting do much you are in tears - especially for someone who already receives regular chiropractic care. -- you'll have to see other reviews for actual quality of care.
