Man, oh man, what a delicious way to start the day! The chicken was perfectly cooked, the pesto was light; enough for flavor, but not overpowering, and just super tasty. I also had an Irish Coffee - but iced. WOW, what a treat! I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this...kinda wish I had one sitting on my desk this late on a Friday, to be real. The drink was rich, flavorful, and the Jameson's was just the right amount. Well done! I stopped in for a quick moment and left with a matcha and Blueberry muffin. I ordered the lavender matcha latte, nit too sweet, not too grassy, just beautifully balanced. A tad bit too much ice, but it worked out okay. I also tried the Blueberry muffin, which they kindly warmed. Picked up lunch for the office from here today. This is an adorable coffee shop/cafe located in the heart of downtown Covington. The staff was all super friendly and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I got to the counter even though they were busy. My office ordered a mix of salads, soup, sandwiches, and breakfast items. Everyone was pleased. Met family this morning at Haven Coffee and Cocktails in Covington for coffee. Haven, which is across the street from the justice center, looks like a great place to meet or hang out. Coffee was good, service was friendly and efficient, Wi-Fi was good, and surroundings were contemporary and comfortable. I will be dreaming about the cinnamon toast nitro cold brew for decades. SO good, seriously. We also got the breakfast tacos, steak bagel, and the southern belle. Everything was delicious. 10/10 would go again. They were also super busy when we came in - literally line all the way to the door BUT moved very fast. Food and drinks were very quick and fresh made. This cafe is a beautiful spot with really great drinks! I highly recommend this place to friends going through the area. They have a selection of nitro lattes (made with oat milk), an extensive tea menu, and all the works for regular drip and espresso drinks. They're quick, friendly, and the space is so lovely. There are a lot of seats suitable for big groups, too. And the cocktails are really nice as well! read more

This place is small but don't let that fool you. Absolutely some of the best coffee I've ever had. I had the cinnamon toast nitro latte with the boudin breakfast tacos. Both were so so good. The cocktails are pretty good. They are pre-made on tap, and they have a great amount of options! They even have flights for you to try four at one time! I had the D Mac 75, and it's similar to a French 75. I was excited that it wasn't too sweet but just right. My date had a flight of cocktails, and each one that I tried was very good. I also got a Brown Sugar Vanilla hot latte. I was pleased that it was not as sweet as it sounds. It tasted more like coffee than anything else which is nice. The ambiance is very nice and chic! They did really well decorating and creating a modern place with some vintage decor. The service was quick, and they were very nice. It's also a great location. I'll definitely return. read more

I discovered Haven coffee on a road trip. I'd been to Covington a few months earlier, and seeing this was a brand new coffee shop, I was excited to try it out. This place did not disappoint. The coffee shop has a great atmosphere and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are super friendly and helpful, and make you feel at home. The drinks are excellent! The latte is delicious and I loved the iced chai. The baked goods selection is limited, but the chocolate croissants and macarons are great! The pancakes were just ok but far worse is the experience I had in the bathroom there. The restrooms are gender-neutral so we don't know which restroom will accommodate ladies or which one will accommodate men. After being a bit confused I picked one. I thought I had locked the bathroom door, but much to my surprise a gentleman walked in. I think he was just as embarrassed as I was. It was the most uncomfortable situation for both of us. All they need to do is choose one for men and one for ladies, and that would make the dining experience a little bit more comfortable. Had it been a porta- potty on a parade route it wouldn't have been so surprising however, in a restaurant, I was just a bit taken back. Saying this the service is friendly. read more

This is a very cozy comfortable coffee shop. We have always had a great experience here until our last visit. We arrived about an hour before they closed and there were several people in there. As we looked around for a place to sit, we were disappointed to see that all of the more comfortable seating, the sofas and comfy chairs, were taken up by people with their laptops spread across the entire area. They didn't even appear to be drinking or eating, just scrolling. Once seated, we noticed that a couple of these people were friends with the workers - they went behind the counter, got their own drinks and helped themselves to the cookies and macaroons and the workers seemed ok with this and even encouraged it. Not very sanitary. This is really sad because we really enjoyed coming here. We'll give it another try - hopefully those particular workers and patrons won't be there. read more

Super cute coffee and cocktail shop in downtown Covington. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor has both regular tables, bar seating, and a lounge or sofa area. They have hanging plants and a water feature in the the outdoor alcove that provides a pleasant buffer to town noises. They have their cocktails in kegs which is interesting, but my espresso martini was very good. They use Northshore Coffee which is an unknown to me, so I will be back to try a cappuccino. We've been to Haven several times now, and we love it! The cinnamon toast nitro is incredible as are all of the coffee drinks we've had. The alcoholic drinks are good, but I do wish there was more variety. I'm not a whiskey fan at all, and it seems like most of the premade drinks have some sort of whiskey. I really enjoyed the Donna Mac 75. Hopefully they'll have more of a drink variety in the future, but the staff and atmosphere are just wonderful. read more

This place absolutely slaps! The environment is super welcoming and warm. There are many inviting and unique seating areas inside and outside. The staff were a pleasure to interact with and the service was quick. My wife and I had the veggie wraps which were the best we ever had at any restaurant. I don't know what's in the sauce that comes with it but it's almost criminal how good it is. We finished off our meal with a cold cinnamon toast nitro brew that was ASTOUNDLY cold creamy and flavorful. We can't wait to go back and try more menu items! read more
