I have been living nearby this salon for 2 years now, but never had gotten around to trying it. I was salon hopping and one of my neighbors recommended Haven and I am NO LONGER shopping around for a salon! I got a full foil service, hair cut, and brow service and was so pleased with the entire experience! The salon is lovely, clean and bright. Everyone working who I encountered was friendly and professional. My stylist, Claudia, really took the time to understand what I was looking for for my color and cut and totally exceeded my expectations! I have never loved my hair color more! I don't even know where to start. This place is amazing, awesome, wonderful. Whoever designed it, knows what they are doing. This seems like such a small thing, but their shampoo bowls are AMAZING, LOL. (I should probably get out more, lol) The staff; professional, caring and friendly. The interior; GORGEOUS. The products they use. I don't remember the name (I would have to check my shower, lol) but they are from Italy :) and THATS what I'm talking about, lol. I have seen a lot of the stylist work and honestly they are all great. I have sent 3 friends and they all look great and loved it as well. I do have one small issue. They offer so many cool services and are wayyyy to close to my house. Friendly, clean & comfortable. Was looking for a place to grab a pedicure not too far from home....you can't beat only being 5 minutes away. I made an appointment online about a week out (so convenient!) and showed up a few minutes early. I must have been the only non-regular as the receptionist greeted me by name when I walked in. Jen did my pedicure - she met me right around my appointment time and brought me back to their nail annex. Had a nice, relaxing hour chatting with Jen, Alice (the other tech working in the room) and another customer. A nice mix of relaxation massage & foot & nail work, and the color on my toes looks great. Pricing is in line with the other spas in the area. I would not accept an appointment if it's with one of the stylists in training or are trying to build clientele. I tried to give them a chance thinking they were probably skilled but not as efficient but I was wrong. Worst hour long haircut I've ever had and due to other circumstances I ended up going to a different salon to get it fixed! I can't believe the salon would even allow a 3.5 hour cut and color and to a client who has been going to the salon for at least a year. read more

Had a cut with Ellen, and I have to say it was one of the best cuts I've ever had. I'm new to the area and I've been trying places out to find my favorites, and I'm so thrilled with my cut that Haven is my new go-to salon. After living in NYC for more than a decade, I'm picky about my hair, my skin, and my nails. The ONLY place I go for all my manicures, pedicures and waxing! I only trust Jen Faust with my nails. I've been going to her for over a year now and she just knows what I like. She doesn't just do an even manicure she gets funky with the nail design, just bring her a picture! Alice is my go to for waxing. I absolutely love Haven and all the ladies! The atmosphere is relaxing and serene. The decor has clean lines and great light, both natural and beautiful fixtures. Ellen cut my today and it was a true transformation. I went in with hair down to my derrière that was dry and lifeless but with Ellen's great techniques I came out with 10 inches gone and beautiful long layers. I held off writing this review because I am fairly new to the area and was looking for a new stylist. I can look no further, Haven Salon is it! After being with my stylist for 10 years but having to switch due to the move, I tried other salons in the area to see if they were a fit for me. All of them had good staff and the stylist were not bad. BUT, when I went to Haven it was a notch above. From the moment you walk in the staff is very friendly and offer you a beverage while you wait. I saw Jackie that day and she did what I immediately look for in a stylist. She took the time and did not rush through our consultation. Jackie really listened to how I style my hair, my lifestyle, etc. She got to know me without be intrusive or too talkative. She walked me through everything she was going to do and what she was currently doing. I decided after that visit, which was just a basic cut, that I was going to try her for an actual color. When I came in she impressed me because she remembered what we were talking about 2 months prior. The last time I was in I was getting ready to go on a work trip and I told her just a touch about my family. Even though months had passed she asked me about that trip and asked how my granddaughter was doing and that really held up well for me. So the search is over. Jackie is my girl and I can't wait to try all the other services offered there. I am very comfortable recommending Haven Salon. read more
