I've gone to a number of different stylists in their salon and they never disappoint. I love the atmosphere in their salon. The girls are so welcoming and sweet. They make you feel right at home. I've gone to other places that are stuffy and they make you feel uncomfortable, but the numerous times I've come here it feels like you've known them forever! I even bring my mom along with me. My hair was a little worse for wear, and I hadn't had a hair appointment for a long time because another salon chemically fried my hair and I was forced to let it heal for awhile. Mandy was my stylist, she was engaging, informative and ridiculously thorough. They claimed they need 7 days cancellation for a holiday appointment. 9/3 is not a holiday and this was plenty of time for them to be able to fill that appointment time with another appointment. Crooks and rude on top of it. Nowhere on their website does it state this policy. Do NOT use them. This is not good customer service and does not promote referrals.

CHARGED FOR HAVING COVID.The lack of morals, manners, ethics, and common sense by the money hungry…read moreowner is mind boggling. I had an appointment on January 11, 2022. I canceled the morning of because I was sick overnight, woke up with a fever, took a rapid covid test, and was POSITIVE! I sent the owner proof of the positive test at approximately 9:30 am when I had a 1:15 PM appointment. I called AND emailed. She answered the email and said, reschedule when you can. Didn't say, I hope you feel better, nor did she say she would charge me. Now, their contract stipulates, if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to an appointment, you MAY be charged $30 or more depending on the type of appointment. The word "may" indicates there's some reasonable flexibility. You would think that, in a global pandemic, testing positive for covid that morning would be that exception. NOPE! Within 15 minutes I got an automated email stating I was charged $50 for being a "no show"! I emailed the owner back, literally begging for a refund. I explained that the CDC mandates we stay home, and that being disabled and on disability, I was on a very fixed income and had saved for this appointment. I showed her proof of my positive test, proof of my income and my disability papers. She ignored the email. I emailed again asking for communication. She didn't answer. I messaged get again and said I assumed she would be refunding me and she finally answered, LIED and said she ad answered all of my emails and would not be refunding me AND told me to take my business elsewhere. She also said "mandates arent laws". How do you charge someone for having covid? This isn't something I expected 48 hours before! And before she adds her snarky response to this review as she has EVERY other review, I have proof of all of this. I disputed the charge with my bank, and she disputed it on her end. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau, contacted the Health Department, and DevaCurl, since I found her on their site. The woman at DC was a doll, she was absolutely appalled at the lack of this woman's professionalism, and is discussing the situation with her manager on how to proceed. ***PLEASE READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE, YELP AND THE BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE, I'm not the only one she's done this to and I will not quit until I get my money back.
