I had looked at this property a while back right after the new owners bought it, and they started renovations, but wasn't as sold on it as I am now. I haven't moved in yet, however Jackie, the property manager is amazing. She was having a hectic day when I came in and I completely understand, her personality is amazing. She treats you like a friend stopping in for a chat, and makes you feel welcome. I love the aspect that everything is through her and one other lady on the weekends. Rent is paid through money order, no online payments and extra charges. Which is one factor that really drew me to this property. As far as the property appearance, from the road it doesnt look like anything fancy, however I hope they have plans for that as far as renovations, it isnt a deal breaker though because once you walk round the complex you appreciate the woods, resort style pool, tennis courts, picnic area with BBQs and onsite laundry facilities(dog park in the near future!). I really think I will enjoy living here. Update will most definitely happen once I move!

What makes this situation especially painful is not only the financial loss I experienced, but also the personal loss tied to it. Because of the circumstances surrounding my attempted move-in, I missed my cousin's funeral--something I will never have the opportunity to make up for or say goodbye properly. That is something that will stay with me. I left my original review simply to explain what truly happened from my perspective. Unfortunately, the company's response misrepresented the situation rather than acknowledging the reality of what occurred. Despite a severe storm, I was repeatedly assured that everything would still be handled and that my apartment would be ready for move-in. I relied on those assurances and planned my entire move around them. However, when the day came, it became clear that the unit was not ready. Maintenance tasks that were supposed to be completed before my arrival were still unfinished, and it appeared that other priorities had been placed ahead of preparing the apartment for the scheduled move-in. Had I been told honestly that the unit was not ready, I could have made different arrangements and avoided a great deal of stress and loss. Instead, I found myself trying to move an entire household while waiting for work to be completed on the unit--work that was still not finished even after 1:00 PM, despite the fact that I had to be fully moved out of my previous place by midnight. In the end, I am grateful that I never signed the lease. That experience showed me that if transparency and accountability were not present before I even moved in, they likely would not have improved afterward. I share this not out of bitterness, but out of honesty so that others can make informed decisions. As consumers, we rely on clear communication and truthful information when making major life decisions like moving. I truly hope the company chooses to handle future situations differently and treats the next person walking through the door with greater transparency and respect. Despite what happened, I genuinely wish you all well and hope this will be a great learning opportunity for us all.

    Me and my fiancé have been here since May 2019. Since that time we have had multiple things go…read morewrong from water getting into our apartment to lights not working since day one. We had told the old property manager about these issues multiple times and she assured us MULTIPLE time that the issues would be fixed. The lights never got fixed and the water that kept getting into our apartment when it rained took her 4-5 months to do anything about it. In the mean time the base boards got wet and carpenter ants got into our apartment and terminex had to be called to take care of that issue as well. Shortly after that she was let go and they just finished working on the drainage issue that should have been solved before our apartment ever got water in it. We were going to move out after our year was up but They got a new property manager now and they fixed our lighting issue right away and we have had no issue since and plan on staying as long as they keep up the good work. So far the new staff gets a 5 star rating keep.

    DO NOT consider the Auberge for apartment living. I have been here almost three years and nothing…read moregets fixed and they have no money to fix things. 1. Front gate is always broken and was not even working the first 11 months I moved in. They are continually working on it but we are lucky if it works an entire week. 2. Half of the windows in the entire complex have broken seals so they are cloudy. I was told my first year here that they were working with a company. 2+ years later, nothing has been replaced. 3. The landscaping is terrible. Flowerbeds are not maintained AT ALL. Dead tree stumps never removed. 4. Sprinkler system has never worked since I moved in. It only works in the front so the entrance is green. 5. Pool gates dont always work. 6. The unbrellas and the lounge chairs are left out all winter and in the summer, are all beat up and are literally ripping and falling apart. 7. There are leaks inside the walls. Every day I hear ticking inside the walls. At first it was just in my hallway and for the last 6 months its now happening in the walk-in closet in my master bedroom. I have brought it to their attention a few times and they have never been addressed. Which explains why on some of the reviews people are complaining about a smell. No doubt there is mold inside the walls. I was raised in a building family and have built homes myself, and who ever built this complex took MANY shortcuts and the construction was terrible. 8. Trash compactor is often filled to overflowing so trash sits piled up outside the bin. 9. Pool rules are not enforced. Often people are walking around with glass beer bottles and I have even seen a 2 liter glass bottle of tequila passed around. 10. Like many these days, I work from home. Often dogs are barking non-stop. 11. Workout room has no weight training equipment other than bar bells. 12. The pool table is literally falling apart. Missing bolts on many of the corner pockets. 13. White paint spots on the vinyl floors around entire apartment. Evidently when they repaint the walls, no covering is placed on the floors. 14. Nail strips for carpet poke through the carpet at all thresholds. 15. Gas fire pit (Another so called "amenity") has never worked in the three years I have been here. 16. I've pointed out things like a gutter that is bent way down and a sinking walkway in front by mail room due to erosion that needs to be addressed, and nobody has fixed or even looked at. 17. The only choice for internet and TV is with there DISH network which is bundled into your rent like the valet trash. Terrible internet! 18. The hallways are filthy. They power wash once a year but they use no cleaners or power brushes so non of the stains from peoples garbage leaking is ever cleaned up. 19. Leaves are rarely blown out of the walkways. At times I often use my own blower to blow them out into the parking lot area. They have switched management three times since I have moved in. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how this place is ran and operated by the owner. The management is terrible and doesn't do a thing. In fact the on site manager doesn't even work a 40 hour week. They have a constant turn-around in the office. Nobody walks the property and checks on things that need to be addressed. They market this place like its luxury living and at $2100/month for a two bedroom on the second floor, I am definitely not getting what I am paying for.
