What can I say about this Hele gas station??? Tucked away in da Hawaii Kai neighborhood, you'd probably have a hard time finding this gas station unless you live in da hood, as it's not on a main drag. Da nice thing about this Hele gas station is that a 7-Eleven is attached to it, and right next door is a Boston's Pizza joint!!! Yes gangies, it's a one stop shop as you can get gas & grub!!!! I came here the other night as I was shopping at Ross Dress for Less looking for some DEALAGES, then realized I needed some gas. Lucky for me that this Hele gas station was not too far away. Filled up my ride, then headed back on da road for more adventures!

Last night I needed some gas, and since I was driving along in the Nui Valley area, I found this gasoline station just next door from a 7-Eleven convenience store. The gas station is very small, as there are only (2) gas pumps, so at most it can only serve (4) customers at once. The gas prices here are not bad at all, and if you come here for gas, after you fill your tank up, you can just go next door & grab something from 7-Eleven like a Garlic Chicken Musubi! Lol!

Although I'm a Foodland member as well . The associate replied I guess our location is busier and the owner is more strict . Well guess where my business is going from now on ! The rule of thumb you give your customer good customer service they will keep on coming back . Once you encounter a bad experience you'll lose a customer for life also word of mouth goes very far ‍ I'm just saying .

As of now, you can get a medium fountain drink, large Diamond Head bottled water, spam musubi, hot dog, icee or an ice cream sandwich with the 8 gal fill up. Some people aren't aware. During December, they have the 12 days of Christmas with Texaco gifts per day and it's an up grade of the regular rewards. Last year other Texaco were renovating so those who usually participated in the 12 days of Christmas, didn't have in 2024. The car wash is pretty popular and you can choose between three level of cleaning. Don't forget to get your car wash stamps at this location. The other location near by, used to tell you to save your receipts. It's hard to hold on to the receipts or get a stamp when purchasing the car wash at the pumps. Anyways the staff are usually helpful. There's some local snacks inside for purchase like the Banana mac nut bread by Onolicious. Stop by and fill up and get a reward!

The prices of gas is about the same compare to other gas stations in Urban Honolulu. Just looking through the tips posted by Chris M. on 4/10/12. It was only few cents more now. I got unleaded gas for $4.58 (10c more on credit card without Kama'aina discount). So, thanks for tracking the prices through time. I didn't interact with employees inside and I didn't have any issues with my transaction. So, I would come back, especially they got cleaner windshield wiper.

Every trip back to Hawaii somehow includes a stop here, usually in one of my parents' cars, waiting in line with everyone else while the smell of soap mixes with hot asphalt and exhaust. It's oddly nostalgic. The system works, but it definitely assumes you've been here before. When you pull up, the menu isn't really explained. You're asked a few quick questions about tires, vacuuming or upgrades and before you know it you're being waved forward. If you're trying to understand the difference between services or whether a detail is worth it, don't expect much guidance. The actual wash was good, especially for the price. Coming from Los Angeles, where a proper wash and detail can easily cost well over $100, it's hard to complain. Just don't expect perfection. The interior looked much better, but there was still sand hiding under the kids' car seats and a few corners that were easy to miss. If you have children, prepare yourself for the awkward dance of unloading everyone while deciding whether to let someone else drive your car through the wash. One thing I would recommend. Tip the crew. They work incredibly hard in the Hawaii heat, moving nonstop from one car to the next. No, it isn't a concours level detail. But for a long standing neighborhood institution that gets you in, gets you out and leaves your car noticeably cleaner without emptying your wallet, it's still easy to understand why locals keep coming back.

Great location (just a few blocks from McKinleys) on Ward, on the side street across Ward from the Patagonia store. The lot is small, only fits 4 or 5 cars in driveway - but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get started. (I used the time to gather up all my junk so they could thoroughly clean the interior). Service absolutely is fantastic. You drive yourself into the washing bay under the direction of the service guy. Then you back out and park under the sunshades so the team can hand dry the exterior and all door jams, AND then thoroughly vacuum out the interior. They ask you to step out at sit at provided table (under shade) or pay for service while they're doing all that. There's a service charge for using credit card that is waived if you pay cash. (SUV $29+tax) A tip box is provided on the wall - fill that baby up because these folks are so deserving! Bottom line - excellent service, location, price, and so quick and easy!

No appointment needed for safety check or was not rudely turned away from auto mechanic shops when it gets too busy despite making calls and waiting/confirmation before coming over. Was impressed with the service so I came back again. On my recent return, i noticed the hours changed. I miss this place having to be opened until 4:00ish since my last safety check. Still do not need to get out of the car but just need to get your required documents ready as well as the mileage since they will ask from you verbally and check your odometer. Need to follow the staff instructions as asked and they do check window tint. They usually take out the old safety stick and place new one on your bumper but this time, the staff just placed it over my old which I didn't like. I tried asking but no time so maybe next time... This place can get busy since I had to park on the side and wait in line queue outside and reversing back into traffic on queen street can be intimidating at times when it is busy after all is done. $27 safety check fee which includes tax (but add $3 more if paying by debit/credit card). Some stuff changed but still I would still consider this place again for safety check and for convenience.

It's a one time use code. The cashier inside was really friendly and had lots of energy.

Lo and behold, this Texaco car wash place popped up. I read a few reviews and I decided to try it out. There was about four cars ahead of me. The reviews warned us about the wait time. There is wait that depends on the type of car wash package you select. I estimated @10-15 minutes per car. I didn't know where to pay and I asked my sister to run into the convenience store to check if I needed to pay first. You can pay inside and you will receive a receipt with a code that you enter into a machine that is located near the entrance of the car wash. Or you can pay at the machine as well. Your choice. Pay attention to the instructions and lighted signs! It will guide you into the automatic car wash with ease. It's pretty loud inside so be prepared! Pricing is really great at $10 for the basic- Deluxe Wash, $14 for the premium wash, $17 for the ultimate wash, and $20 for Ceramic shine. See photo for more information. It's an automatic car wash , so be prepared to wipe down your car with a towel after you exit and find a place to park. The dryer doesn't get every spot. If you want air for your tires, vacuum, or water, it will cost you. Bring your coins. Appeared that some features are broken. Overall, a good experience for my old and now cleaned up car!

Truthfully I've never used the service but when I pull up on my motorcycle I sometimes talk story with them as I'm pumping gas.
