I have used them twice. The first time was random - OFS was the first company to answer the phone and say they could come remove and chip several small trees I had cut down in my back yard. They showed up on time, did the work competently and quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. The second time was a much larger job - taking down two trees (one an 80 ft tall dying cedar tree) and extensively trimming two others. Jose came out and discussed the job, and gave us a number of options on doing the work. The job cost was significantly less than we expected based on other tree jobs we were aware of. Again, Jose and his crew showed up on time and worked closely with us to ensure everything we wanted to get done got done. His crew got the job done quickly and efficiently were careful not to damage any of our other landscaping. And the clean-up was impeccable. Due to my neighbor's concerns, we agreed the work would stay at the property line--but only three or four branches were removed. After paying $500, I realized very little work had been done. I asked if the quote could be reconsidered, but they refused. To make matters worse, their lift left large ruts in both my front and back yard. They came back to "fix" the front yard, but it was poorly done, and I refused to have them fix the back yard. Debris was left behind, and their lift even broke down and sat in my yard. Paying $500 for a few branches removed and damage left behind is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

A&J Specialties, give me an estimate to remove a tall dead tree in the middle of the summer 2024. I was on scheduled for the end of Oct 2024 for this company to come to my house an remove the tree. I took vacation time off from work, they show up with only a partial crew. The said to me, couple of employees did not show up this morning and they to reschedule. So, I get rescheduled for the end of December, again on the morning they are due to arrive I get a phone call telling me "the whole crew did not show up this morning, and I will need to reschedule again." I wasted a bunch of time getting the area ready, and wasted another day of vacation time. Not nice to string someone along. Zero value!

We initially had a positive experience with Liberty Tree (Fritz) about four to five months ago when a tree fell through our fence. They responded quickly, removed the tree and debris, and were very accommodating. Based on that, we chose to reach out again when we noticed another tree leaning and wanted to be proactive before it caused more damage. Unfortunately, this second experience has been extremely disappointing. After reaching out nearly a month ago, it's been nothing but excuses and delays. I first contacted Fritz by phone and later followed up with a text on June 30th, which he read. I reached out again before the 4th of July, and he sent me an invoice and promised to come by Monday or Tuesday after work. When I called for an update, he claimed he actually said Tuesday or Wednesday. This back-and-forth has now dragged to the point of now it being contentious. When I called again to get a straight answer, instead of taking accountability or offering a clear timeline, Fritz berated me on the phone. I even received two unprofessional and rude text messages from him--the owner of the company--after he had already failed to show up multiple times without notice. I understand delays can happen, but communication is critical--especially when safety and property damage are involved. At this point, I'm trying to prevent having to replace another section of my fence, and the lack of responsiveness has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this recent experience, I can no longer recommend Liberty Tree Enterprises. Communication and follow-through are non-negotiable in any service-based business, and both were clearly lacking here.

This time they took down a large pine tree in our garden, except for the trunk which we left for a future tree carving. They arrived early and worked very fast and efficiently. He didn't come out to fix them for nearly a month. None of this would have happened had he not received the check the first day. I'm really bummed that it went this way. After day one this what were left with…read more 1. Front driveway not picked up. 2. Severe scratches on fence. 3. Scratches on car parked in driveway. 4. Four water nozzles garden bed damaged. 5. Debris was in back yard including loose tree bits and big trunk bits covering yard. 6. Tarp left covering ground coverage. 7. Damage to flowers on the higher side. 8. Fence on property line has a broken post. 9. No note was left stating you would be back. 10. The stump is over 4ft tall. They did come back with out the next and this is what were left with. 1. 3-4 inches of bark covering up our ground covering flower. 2. No attempts were made to cover them in a temp fashion. 3. Ground coverage was damaged beyond healing of the plants. I called spoke with Rico Mendez the owner, he claimed I was lying and no one ever complains about his work. He did offer to replace the flowers directly but I wasn't comfortable with letting him in my yard a third time. Instead of that we did agree HE would give up $100 to repair the damages caused but, instead he talked to my local management and never personally paid. My park management paid for the damage instead due to the results of his actions. Also sorry goes a longs way of which he never tried. I personally would never recommend them as they show little respect of the work you put into your garden. I do have video recordings of how they treated my garden and before and after pics. Mistakes can happen but it's how you fix it that matters
