Sand dunes very forgiving and all in all one of the nicest DoD courses I've played. Son and I had a most pleasant 2 rounds the day after Thanksgiving. Very memorable indeed. Offered superb discount that resulted in a price of only $21/person for 18 holes (sans cart et clubs). Only comment I have is that the greens were wickedly fast, and it seemed no matter how soft the putts, we most always overshot the holes. We're thinking during the wetter months the greens would play more slowly. Free coffee and tea (small voluntary donation can) was an added bonus especially on the chilly 50 degree morning we played. If your travels bring you to Ft Stewart, and golf is in your blood, I'd recommend this course for sure. Mahalo nui loa for reading my review.

The cart paths and eroded paths were dangerous and at one point the Cart just leaned over on the Drivers side and collapsed turning over. I pushed it back over and a person showed up to ask! The actual course was being cut by about 8 illegal aliens without regard to our play. So, balls were cut up that we were playing. No refreshments available on course and a generally unaware of Players as they had no active Ranger. The layout was fantastic! Needs an owner and Manager that are engaged, not asleep at the wheel! The price was$61 with cart, ice, cooler, sand for pivots, and score card.​

This is definitely one of the better courses I've played, reminds me of Lake Lanier's. You HAVE to try the course at least once in your life if you come down here, but the customer service has been a let down for me. Through the 4 years, I've played on this course more than 25+ times and each time there seems to be issues with staff. Some agreeable issues, but most were random stuff that made you think they single out college students if they believe you can't play. Whether you don't dress right, don't have great clubs, or anything that seems amateure, they will find something to confront you about. No it's not poor play, slow pace, or anything. I usually play scrambles and shoot consistent 70's when doing so. If not scramble, I'm in the high 80's to low 90's. It's just something that's always been a issue that I wish I had answers to. Maybe it's the management, not Olsen he's a great man, but something is wrong with those students. Overall, it's a great course you should definitely try. Be aware of the staff if you're a college student because you may have some confrontation coming you're way. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. Other than that, I hope y'all have fun if you chose this course, you'll sometimes need it.

To my surprise the egg salad was hot...I've never had a hot egg salad before. I've only had it cold. It was really good, but would recommend no lettuce on it since the lettuce had wilted from the heat of the egg salad & I had to remove most of it. $14 for the food & it also came with a pickle.

The price was a little steep for us being a large group that play every Monday and Wednesday. The customer service was unacceptable to us, several members of our group refuse to ever play your course again. The customer service was what I consider, DISRESPECTFUL.. Like I mentioned earlier, we are all (BLACK) senior citizens and mostly Retired Military Veterans. We were told by the person checking us in that she was giving carts to every other person as they checked in. We asked for cart keys because we know who is riding with whom. SHE REfUSED to do that as if we didn't agree to double up in each cart. Furthermore she told us that a bag of ice would be $10 extra unless we purchased beverages from the golf course. We all need to stay hydrated as we enjoy our game of golf. I am writing this email as a personal complaint and I do not represent my Golf Organization.
