Lots of flowers and personal grave sites, it's a very different place from northern cemeteries because many of the graves are actually cremations or vaults with the bodies held above ground. The different sections are well marked and one of the most poignant is called "Baby Land' that has the graves of the very young. An different and interesting graveyard to walk around and visit. Don took the time to explain the details of cremation and answered all my questions, which helped me to make my decision to use his services. Then, after my husband passed away in Feb. 2024, the hospice nurse called him for me and Don quickly arranged for someone to come out and remove my husband's body -- even though it was at night. He kept me informed as to when he would mail the death certificates, and when he would hand-deliver my husband's ashes to me, which he did with the utmost care and respect. The social worker gave me a list of funeral service vendors in that area. I called around and the prices and approaches were all over the place. A high quote with a discount for being in hospice? Ugh. I looked on Yelp and saw a recommendation by a friend that she thought Loomis was a professional and thoughtful organization. I could not have asked for better service and fee prices. - They were helpful and explained their fee and costs for death certificates over the phone. When my husband later died in the middle of the night, they responded quickly - Cremation fees were much less than those quoted by others on the list furnished by hospice. - They did not try to up sell, they even suggested I might want to complete the request via the web and conveniently pay at the same time if I did not feel like driving over there. - I am having a funeral service in another state. They were so kind and respectful on the phone and in person. - They provided the paperwork and documents I will need to have my husband interred in another state. - They had a catalog of urns and the prices were very reasonable and I know this as I had shopped around. Their location in Apopka seems small but most of the staff I spoke to were young and caring. In a time when I was stressed this was the easiest decision.

Found Allen J Harden and they came and picked up their loved one. The next morning they met with them and the cost for direct Cremation was double what the area standard going rate is, so they decided to have her moved to a different Funeral home and willing to pay for the pick up the night before they asked how much they owed for the aforementioned and were charged $799.00 which is 3/4 of what the 2nd funeral home charges for the complete service of Direct cremation. This Borders on Criminal but definitely is taking advantage of the family at a time of need. SHAME ON YOU!!!!
