While I cannot speak to pricing, as I was just a guest attending a memorial service, I can honestly say that Lohman's is a very nice funeral home. There is ample space to host home-going services at Lohman. There is also ample parking out front and off to the side/rear of the funeral home. Again, the staff is so kind. So, you don't have to worry on that front.

Matt Pierson is a godsend and provided a wonderful service at the Church in Astatula. I would not hesitate in an instant to recommend this funeral home. Matt and John were compassionate and understanding in our time of need. The services weren't as expensive as I thought they would be. For those of you on the fence about pre planning get off the fence!!! Go in and visit them and make arrangements. It will take an incredible burden off the family in doing what you wish for your final arrangements. The rehab needed his body taken ASAP--they were indifferent to our circumstances. The staff at Citrus Grove rode in and helped get everything done!! They were one of the few organizations that posted their prices, and they stuck to it-- never attempting to upsell. Every member worked diligently to get the proper certification for VA issues, get the cremation done properly, guided us the whole way. If I could give them 6 stars I would!! The social worker gave me a list of funeral service vendors in that area. I called around and the prices and approaches were all over the place. A high quote with a discount for being in hospice? Ugh. I looked on Yelp and saw a recommendation by a friend that she thought Loomis was a professional and thoughtful organization. I could not have asked for better service and fee prices. - They were helpful and explained their fee and costs for death certificates over the phone. When my husband later died in the middle of the night, they responded quickly - Cremation fees were much less than those quoted by others on the list furnished by hospice. - They did not try to up sell, they even suggested I might want to complete the request via the web and conveniently pay at the same time if I did not feel like driving over there. - I am having a funeral service in another state. They were so kind and respectful on the phone and in person. - They provided the paperwork and documents I will need to have my husband interred in another state. - They had a catalog of urns and the prices were very reasonable and I know this as I had shopped around. Their location in Apopka seems small but most of the staff I spoke to were young and caring. In a time when I was stressed this was the easiest decision.

So one day I was just scrolling on facebook looking too see who else was in this Monument business and I randomly saw that Jennifer and Jeff did headstones and I said hey I know Jeff he's always been a pretty good dude as far as I can remember from way back in the days. So I reached out to his wife Jennifer last year about a headstone for my Dad who passed away almost 30 years ago, but He never got a headstone. I only wanted just a small one at first then I kept changing my mind and was undecided because I've never had to do this before so I was lost, but with Jennifer's Professional Opinions and Guidance throughout this whole ordeal.. I ended up getting him a full size headstone after I fully made up my mind it took me a while..and I have ZERO REGRETS !!..... I think I may have asked Jennifer about 57 thousand questions over the last few months But she in turn gave me 57 thousand answers in response ...I am soooooo happy that I went with a larger headstone my Dad finally has a spot that I can go visit that looks really nice. After all these years finally!! Me and My brother can go visit our Dad without trying to figure out where his grave spot is at.. He now has a final resting place Monument Headstone that me and my brother can visit for years and years to come..it's so big and pretty and we can see it from a distance.
