After…read morelosing my mother recently to chemotherapy overdose, although the doctor won't admit it nor even cares the process of planning the funeral was easy and stress free. Matt Pierson is a godsend and provided a wonderful service at the Church in Astatula. I would not hesitate in an instant to recommend this funeral home. Matt and John were compassionate and understanding in our time of need. The services weren't as expensive as I thought they would be. For those of you on the fence about pre planning get off the fence!!! Go in and visit them and make arrangements. It will take an incredible burden off the family in doing what you wish for your final arrangements. I always thought it was taboo and something a bit odd since I used to sell pre arranged funeral planning. Found Allen J Harden and they came and picked up their loved one. The next morning they met with them and the cost for direct Cremation was double what the area standard going rate is, so they decided to have her moved to a different Funeral home and willing to pay for the pick up the night before they asked how much they owed for the aforementioned and were charged $799.00 which is 3/4 of what the 2nd funeral home charges for the complete service of Direct cremation. This Borders on Criminal but definitely is taking advantage of the family at a time of need. SHAME ON YOU!!!!
