The store is very clean, organized and spacious. The employees are very nice. I'm doing this review mainly because of the way I was treated as I was checking out. Delaney was the cashier who was at the check out, she presented me with some options which I took advantage of. She was very pleasant and walked me through the process. In doing so, I got 15% off of my purchase. Her customer service was exceptional and she made my shopping experience amazing and worthwhile. I normally drive past the store and tell myself that I need to go there to shop. Well, now it's definitely on my list.

I saw at the register check out Harry Potter chocolate frogs with a collectible card shelf tag 3.99 -- i buy all ten they have. After my daughter says thats 50% off what she gets them for at Universal studios The next day, we are in Costa Mesa and the store has a full box of frogs, and the shelf tag is 3.99 -- I buy the box of 24. The kid checking us out super nice but first day on the register, so they walking him through how to use the register. So when headed to the car with purchase i said i better check the receipt. Sure enough the harry potter frogs ring up at 4.99 not the tag of 3.99 -- they do price adjustment, and the manager tells the kid to take the tag down and she will print new ones for the price mistake. So now drive home, check the other receipt and its 4.99 not 3.99 and drive back to the store. The kid at the register calls on radio for G3 or something to the front must be code for manager. Tall 6 ft female manager says what is the issue, he tells her he has picture of shelf tag supposed to be 3.99 not 4.99 on 10 frogs. She then says where is this picture from, I tell her costa mesa store, as I caught the mistake while there. She rudely tells me 3 times, that if i do not have the picture of the shelf tag in her store she will not honor the price. She then says if Costa Mesa honored the price tag error that is on them. She continues saying they can scan the item with their phone to see it was a mistake. I tell her I didnt take a picture of the shelf tag, because I didnt know the day before they made same error. She said sorry nothing i will do for you. I call the customer service chat, and speak to Armando, who says he is sorry for the trouble in the store, but without a picture of the Lakewood store price mistake they will investigate it, but wont change things. I ask their representative do you take a picture of every shelf tag a store when your shopping ? NO he says, so how can your corporation think that without a price tag picture your S.O.L ! The harry potter caramel barrel and small jelly belly glass cup with butter bean jelly bellies were moved from the left to the right side of the display today. i wouldnt give a penny to this company anymore if thats their idea of protecting themselves from price mistakes! Horrible manager with zero customer service skills, and a phone customer service basically telling you we will elevate it but without photo proof you wont get any place. WOW Cost plus shame on you !

My mouth dropped wide opened when I saw really good stuff on sale. They even had plain colored t-shirts for $3.25 each. My friends and I spent about an hour roaming around the store. So much to see with lots of options also for crafts. We spotted a section for clearance items where my friend bought plastic water bottles for $1.25 set of 3. So he bought two sets for $2.50. Such a great deal. We were all satisfied with what we bought at amazing prices. Can't wait to go back!

I went to return something and then browsed the isles to pick out some new items for my red, white and blue decor at home. (4th of July is my FAVORITE)!! What.A.Let.Down. A large majority of the items looked like complete trash. Many, MANY things scratched and scuffed up. I don't want to decorate with crappy looking decorations. A couple items were even ripped (see America sign photo). What the heck!? Who in their right mind would think it's ok to stock that on the shelves? I contemplated taking these items to someone but it would have likely filled the bulk of the cart. I wish I would have taken more pictures but you can see how bad just the few were that I took. Do better, Hobby Lobby. I really hope management sees this.

Elizabeth was there when the incident occurred and she did not ask if my daughter was ok. Instead she left the incident and unprofessionally laughed with her coworkers about the situation. At this point they assumed my daughter only had scrapes after falling on the heavy metal frame, however she hit her mouth and her head as well. The gentleman who was the manager at the time understood my concern about the unprofessional behavior of the multiple women on the floor. I appreciated his approach and concern. However, I hope that the management and supervisors of the store give these women workers and especially Elizabeth Meonoz the appropriate disciplinary and accountability for her negligence and unprofessionalism.

They have a little bit of everything, and it is all truly curated and unique. Located on Orange Avenue, in the Eastern section of Long Beach California, this business is a little bit off of the beaten path. It's actually a truly unique neighborhood. Though it's basically a residential area, there's a number of unique businesses right around Goods on Orange. So, you can easily grab a meal, or a coffee, or a little bit of something else once you come to the area this business is located within. Once inside, you are overwhelmed with a plethora of all kinds of everything. It's truly a visual experience to walk into this business. They have a lot of great everything. I can't say that enough, because you truly never know what you are going to find when you go in. The staff here are all super nice, so if you have any questions, they're happy to help you out with whatever they can. In terms of pricing, they're very fair. Sure, you can maybe find cheaper prices at a thrift store. But, at a thrift shop you're never guaranteed that you're will find the best of the best like is available at this business. And, that's what this shop offers, the best of the best. In terms of parking, street parking is your best bet. On weekends, you may have to walk a little bit, because, as stated, there is a number of other businesses directly surrounding Goods on Orange. But, it's a good way to get your steps in. Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun. First impression is seeing the streaked tile floor and opened boxes and packaging in wooden slated tables. Dozens of customers digging through aimlessly and moving through the piles which appeared to have no rhyme or reason in organization. Nothing had pricing in the table bins. My GF asked but the gentleman in the front did yell from time to time that everything was $4 & it would be $3 on Sunday. After an hour, I had some party decor, a adhesive wall paper roll, shower steamers, and small drawstring gift bags. My GF picked up a double walled tumbler, 6pk of backup reading glasses, inflatable mini bed, 4 pk Ticonderoga pencils, and car window shades. It was worth noting that although the majority was of no interest, there were people with dozens of items in their cart. To each their own. I saw lots of party decor, disposable plates, makeup, cell phone accessories, home decor, misc craft, seasonal, etc. Few name brands, such as Sharpies and Ticonderoga, mostly generic Amazon goods made in China. All of the items come bought as mystery pallets from Amazon & the store is restocked on Thurs and Friday. Pricing is the most expensive on the restock days and I can't even fathom what's left by $0.50 Weds! Will be back to treasure hunt again! Highly recommend if the overconsumption doesn't bother you & you have the patience to go through the items. Some customers were aggressively throwing items around & coming close to hitting others with their carts as they inched through the bins.
