My experience with Howzer has been quite positive, and I find their services to be dependable. (Phew.) One standout individual from the team was Cyn, who provided exceptional support during a period of anxiety about securing good tenants for the three vacant units. She not only eased my concerns but also successfully found excellent tenants--one of whom has even developed a friendship with my cousin, who lives in the other unit. The only minor issue I've encountered--an occasional visit from a neighborhood cat on our porch (as seen in the attached picture)--is clearly beyond Howzer's control. This slight inconvenience did make me think about lowering the rating, but upon reflection, it seems unfair to hold them accountable for this. So: if you're searching for someone to effectively balance proficiency with a genuine care for clients--even from a distance--Howzer Property Management gets my vote. (I've used a couple companies in California and those don't compare; I don't mean this as an insult but the customer service at Howzer made me feel like I slipped back in time and got very high touch customer service at Nordstrom's in the 1980's.)

We have had constant problems with our brand new building since purchasing. The roofs have all leaked due to improper installation (per multiple BBB rated roofers). The electrical was not installed to code. The paint has completely peeled off the entire building. As for the 'management' aspect of this company, don't believe a word you hear from David Elman's mouth. He's all talk and no follow through. He will promise to fix things and never actually do it. That's if you are lucky enough to get anyone from his office on the phone. All of the work in his buildings is fast and cheap. It's the equivalent of buying a condo from the Christmas Tree Shops. If I could go back in time I would never have purchased anything that he had touched. The building is crumbling into the ground and there is almost no amount of money that could pull it back from the brink. Take my advice WALK AWAY!!
