About 20 years ago, Bath Fitter installed a shower base for us. Recently, the latex seal between the base and wall began to peel, causing water to leak from the shower stall, so I decided to call and see if they'd be willing to repair it. To my surprise, I found out that the Bath Fitter shower base was still covered under a lifetime warranty. So I scheduled an appointment for them to come out and fix the issue, and they sent a service technician named Dustin K., who arrived 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. He examined the issue with the old sealer and immediately began removing and replacing it. The entire process took about 30 minutes, and he made sure to clean up thoroughly afterward, taking all the trash with him. I was truly pleased with the service and even more impressed that Bath Fitter stood by their lifetime warranty after 20 years. That really amazed me. read more

We knew our bathtub would be hard to fit, but Bath Fitter kept at it, making several visits until they found the right solution. They would not install anything until everything was perfect. I could not be happier with my entire experience working with Bath Fitter. I needed to convert my father's bathtub to a shower and called several companies. When I decided on Bath Fitter, one of the companies tried to convince me not to use them because they did not have a good reputation. This could not be further from the truth. From the moment John came to my fathers house, he didn't try to "sell" me, but instead had a conversation with me and walked me through all the details of how things would be done, the options I had for the shower and accessories, the time frame for installation, and every last detail. John was always available to answer questions - and I did reach out to him many times and he always got right back to me, even in the evening and weekends. One of the other companies that provided a quote came in and gave me a scripted "sales pitch" and when I asked the other company to stop "pitching the script" and just tell me what my options were, he didn't know what to do or say and I never heard from them again. It was an easy decision to work with Bath Fitters. John made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. The installation was going to take 2 days because I wanted the walls in the main part of the bathroom redone as well. John was able to accommodate a request I made to arrange the installation to take place on a Wednesday and Friday so that I could have someone come in an install the floor on Thursday, while the toilet and vanity was out of the bathroom. Patrick and AJ were the two gentlemen that came to do the installation. They were professional and did a fabulous job. There was a lot of water damage to the walls behind the tile where the tub was. They removed the damaged material, installed new insulation and rebuilt the walls. They put mats down on the rug and were very neat and organized. When they left after each day, they cleaned up the area where they were working and you wouldn't even have known they did any construction because it was so clean. Patrick and AJ were super kind to my 86 year old dad....who wanted to know how they were doing on the job and poked his head in a few times to check on them. The bathroom looks AMAZING and my father is thrilled with the results. I am so happy that I selected Bath Fitters for this important project. I had bath fitter at my home twice this month. My technician both times I had Tim and I must say he is truly an asset to the company. The first time he came to fix my problem he completed that job, and upon further review he discovered something else and assured me he would alert the office and the problem would be resolved. A few days later Heidi called to prioritize another service call. The day of the appointment Tim was the technician and I felt very secure my problem would be addressed, as Tim found it in the first place. His workmanship and attention to detail is incredible and he was extremely professional and most of all, was very clean both setting up and cleaning up as well as explaining what he was doing throughout the whole process. I could not have been happier with the work that Cooper (installer)and Bob? (plumber) did at my home. It was definitely time to rid the old cast iron tub and have a walk in shower installed. I was given an estimate and got an appointment in a timely fashion. The workers came on time and started working immediately. They kept me informed on each and every step they were taking, including shutting off the water, the noise from the tub removal. They even included me in where the grab bar should be inserted. The finished product around the window looks wonderful. The finished product is beyond great. If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would for this team. Bathfitter West Bridgewater: Dustin and Brian did a fantastic job replacing our tub shower to provide a safer solution for aging guests, etc. They were polite, professional and efficient. I was at first skeptical of a 1-2 day installation solution since our 1940's home tends to open a "can of worms" every time we do an update, but the install went as smoothly as could be - they handled all the communication with our town for permits, ,etc. I highly recommend! Steve did a fantastic job installing our walk-in shower. I checked in a few times during the day and was impressed by the care he took in checking his measurements and levels. He was not able to complete the job by 5 PM so he came back the following day for a couple of hours to finish the job correctly. On both days he arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. We called a third party plumber and he showed me that the bathfitter installer had just NOT CONNECTED THE DRAIN and water was just leaking directly into my walls and floors. Tub to shower conversion. completed in one day. Plumber and Steve the installer very nice and did a great job. Areas very neat after they finished. We had grip bars installed as well as corner shelf with foot rest and small shelf. The only advice I would give is to not put the corner shelf in the front of shower if you get the foot shelf. Your head is under the shower when shaving legs-although I was asked where to put it I didn't think about using it. Also the horizontal grab bar on the inside of shower is too far towards front- again I agreed to placement- I just wish I had given a little more thought into it. Assume there must be some ADA guidelines and should have down some research. Overall I would totally recommend - looks great no issues. read more

We had gottten a bathfitter insert for our tub about 25 years ago. It had a crack in it and water got under the liner. I called Bathfitter and spoke to Rebecca. She made an appointment the following week. Dustin came out and took out our old liner and Heidi ordered us a new one. The only time she had for an appointment was on a Wednesday morning and I had to work so she called the other appointment and asked them to switch times with me so I could get the later appointment. Cooper came and installed the new liner. There was a problem with our overflow so they had to have someone come back to fix that. Nicole called me right away and sent Jeff out today to fix that. All of this was done at no cost to us. Every person I have dealt with through this company has gone above and beyond. They are so professional and helpful. I am so grateful. My bath fitter experience has been terrible! Pieces falling apart! I had to put packing tape on the pieces on my wall to hold together! It looks cheap! I tried to sell my house and due to the 3 bathrooms done by this company they laughed and said these new bathrooms should be redone due to cheap bathrooms! The workers did it to quickly! If I could give them less than a 1 star I would! We had to put packing tape on our bathroom because the pieces fell apart! This morning the other bathroom they did had pieces fall apart while I was going to get in the shower! The third bathroom they did so far has had no problem! We had to spend $30,000 to fix their mistake! Then when we called they said they could not find our name as a customer! This work did not last 5 years! Our sales person, who seemed very knowledgable put together a estimate while onsite. He was very efficient. A bit of pressure to sign right away. Turns out they did not think through removing the valve/tub spout and putting it on the same wall as the shower head. My assumption would be that if they did that they would of course have a way of switching the tub slope so one could still recline. SO we have a tub that you cannot recline in and furthermore is a bit dangerous as the slope side of the tub is where one stands under the shower head. If one steps backwards a bit they could slip. Beyond that; there was a existing shower rod (this is a antique and the ceiling was sloped); so the installer left without re-installing the rod on the new shower walls. He said we could do it;) Turns out when I called the office they said we could not drill into the new shower wall. The home is a rental and folks were arriving in the next few days; when we called bathfitter to speak to sales, then the manager; it took numerous calls to get thru. Drew, the manager, was very dismissive suggesting this is all what we ordered! They portend to be the experts but quickly remove themselves from any issue. It was like pulling teeth to get at least the shower rod remedied. Today, 3 month later we finally have a shower rod; ie; the shower was not usable for the entire summer rental season as they gave us one appointment at 8 am one morning that guests were to arrive. I asked for additional times but they are simply not responsive. For $6k I feel the customer service was argumentative, not helpful. And the finish product now is less than what was there prior. Go the traditional route and do your bath correctly with a builder who will take into consideration the implications of removing a working situation. Simply poor service. What is worse is there is no one to speak with as the corporate office does not have anything to do with the franchises so you are on your own if they decide to not be professional or helpful. read more

We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end with Bath Fitter of West Bridgewater. We needed a facelift for our stall shower in the master bath and for a tub and shower in our guest bath. We're astounded and blown away by the incredible job these amazing people did. From first talking with Heidi, who can't do enough for you, to the at home appointment with Mario, who is knowledgeable and patient as you work your way through what you want to have done, to the installation team of Jeff, Patrick, Steve and Zack - we could not be happier. They did two bathrooms ALL IN ONE DAY and left the place as neat as a pin! I was worried that the newly painted walls would have some damage along with the newly installed floors and trim and it turns out I had nothing to worry about. No touch ups needed as that's how careful and spectacular their work is! My husband and are grateful for the incredible work this team did and we can't believe how gorgeous our two bathrooms look. I met with another bath contractor prior to meeting with Bath Fitter and I was totally turned off by the experience. The office seemed nice enough but the salesman turned up at my house for a meeting like he just came from the beach and I couldn't get him out of my house fast enough. Not only that, he wrote up the quote on a piece of paper and wanted to charge me about $6000 more. When I called the office to say I wouldn't be hiring them the manager asked why and I said, I don't do business with people who don't give me printed quotes. The manager replied that the salesmen is the best they have and he knows everything so well that he can just quote off the top of his head. I said, sorry, I like printed quotes. And that is just what I got from Mario, who was professionally dressed. We worked to put all the items together that I would need for each bathroom. Before Mario left he emailed me a professional and complete quote so I knew exactly what I was getting and how much I was paying for each item. I highly recommend Bath Fitter! I wish I had more bathrooms to renovate that's how good a job they do! read more
